The New Issei

Issei: "Wow, isn't this restaurant a little to fancy for dinner?" He said while looking at the fancy Italian Restaurant that Sirzechs had brought them to.

Sirzechs: "My family owns the place, so no need to worry. It has also been booked out by me so we have it all to ourselves." He said as he led them inside. A waiter came and led them to a private room in the back that had a large table and had been set with seating for five.

Issei: "Well that explains why the all the people working here are devils." Thought Issei as he sat in between Koneko and Rias while Sirzechs and Grayfia sat across from them.

Sirzechs: "Let me introduce myself and my wife. My name is Sirzechs Gremory and this is my wife Grayfia. I can't thank you enough for going along with my sister's wishes. She really has wanted to meet and get to know you ever since your manga started coming out." He said while smiling at Issei.

Issei: "I see. Well it is really nice to meet you Sirzechs, and you to Grayfia. I still have no idea why you would ask me out to dinner. You barely know me and it kind of comes off as a little strange." He said while looking at them with a questioning look in his eyes.

Sirzechs: "Well I figured you could talk to Rias for awhile, she does not have many friends. We will not take up to much of your time, so could you please just indulge her for a little while?" He said while looking at him with a slightly pleading look.

Issei: "Sure, I guess I have nothing better to do." He said while sighing. During this entire conversation Rias had been looking back and forth between them with a worried look on her face. As soon as he said he would stay for awhile she smiled happily.

Rias: "Thank you Issei!" She said while hugging him.

Issei: "Its fine, now can you let me go? It is kind of hard to breathe." He said while tapping her on the back hurriedly. She quickly let him go while being fl.u.s.tered. Of course Issei had not been in any pain or discomfort but a normal human would have been so he had to act the part. "I forgot how clingy she was in the anime. She really does not mind skin ship so I need to be careful in the future." he thought while smiling wryly.

Rias: "I really am sorry about that. I was just really excited." She said while blushing and looking down. This caused Sirzechs to chuckle while Grayfia smiled gently at Rias. Even Koneko had a slight smile.

Issei: "It is fine. Its not everyday a cute girl hugs me after all. But man you have got some strength there." He said while smiling at her, causing her to blush even more at being called cute by one of the people she admires most. This caused Sirzechs to feel happy for his sister but also glare at Issei slightly. A shiver went down Issei's spine as he did so. "Oh god a glare from Sirzechs Lucifer is no joke." He thought while sweating slightly.

Sirzechs: "Oh hitting on my sister in front of me. You must have quite a lot of courage." He said while chuckling and looking at Issei.

Issei: "I was not hitting on her! I was just giving her a compliment." He said quickly. This caused Rias to pout slightly. "Well lets order, I am starving." He said while trying to steer the conversation away from the landmine he had stepped on.

Sirzechs: "Alright, I will let you off with that for now." He said while smiling slightly. This caused Grayfia to pinch his side.

Grayfia: "That is enough teasing them. It is time for dinner." She said while having that smiling face that scared the crap out of all husbands.

Sirzechs: "Yes dear." He said quickly while sweating slightly.

Issei: "Huh, looks like Grayfia has him wrapped around her finger. No wonder Sirzechs does not have a harem despite his status." He thought while smiling at the display in front of him. He then turned to Koneko and Rias and started talking to them both about his manga's and their lives, getting to know them both better. Occasionally Grayfia or Sirzechs would join in on the conversation making the whole thirty minutes they waited for their food go by really quickly. All of them were really impressed by the fact that Issei was living with a friends mother while his parents were out of the country, yet he still had written two amazing books and had three manga he was making. He had also told them that he had finished studying all the way through high school level but was still attending school to have a regular childhood. Issei had learned that Rias and her friend Sona would be moving into Kuoh in a years time. When he had told them he lived in Kuoh all of them had been surprised but Rias had been ecstatic since she would be able to see him in school. Soon after they had talked about this their food came and they ate in comfortable silence together.

Issei: "Wow that food was good." He said after all the dishes had been taken away and everyone was sitting down relaxing.

Sirzechs: "I am glad you liked it." He said while smiling. "Now Rias I believe you had something to ask Issei, right?" He said while turning to look at Rias. Rias got an excited look on her face as he said this and turned to look at Issei in excitement.

Issei: "Crap, I didn't think they would really ask on our first outing together. Oh well, guess I will show a bit of power and turn them down." He thought while being slightly nervous. If things went wrong he could turn Sirzechs into an enemy and he did not want that.

Rias: "Do you believe in the supernatural Issei?" She asked as she looked at him with a serious look on her face.

Issei: "Yeah. I mean I am a part of it after all." He said while smiling and looking relaxed as he leaned back in his chair slightly. His response caused Sirzechs and Grayfia to immediately go on guard.

Rias: "I knew you would not believe in it. But I will say that all of it is real. I want.....wait what did you just say?" She said as she suddenly stopped her speech and looked at Issei with wide eyes.

Issei: "I said I already know about the supernatural world. But I was really not expecting devils to just walk up to me and casually invite me out to dinner. You really gave me a fright. Especially you." He said while looking at Sirzechs. "At first I thought you might have sensed me but to my relief you were really just interested in me because of my manga. So what is it you all want from me?" He said in a serious tone as he straightened up and looked at them with a hard look on his face.

Sirzechs: "Well this is a surprise. I cannot sense anything unusual about you but you are obviously not an ordinary human. As for what we want, well my sister genuinely wanted to get to know you better so I escorted her. She also has a proposition for you that I want you to listen to." He said while smiling a half smile that was obviously fake.

Issei: "With you here that suggestion is more like an order you know?" He said as he sighed.

Sirzechs: "Oh no I have nothing to do with this. I am simply escorting her. The choice is up to you and her." He said this time with an actual smile.

Issei: "So what did you want to ask me Rias? I can sort of guess but go ahead and say it anyway." He said as he shook his head and looked at Rias.

Rias: "I want to formally invite you to join my peerage. Would you be willing to join me Issei?" She asked with a hopeful look on her face. She was really cute since she had not become quite as stuck up as she was in the future, but Issei had to disappoint her. He already knew who he was going to join in the future if she would accept him.

Issei: "Sorry Rias but I am going to have to turn you down. I don't mind being your friend but I do not want to be your servant." He said while shaking his head and looking at her with a sorry expression. She looked utterly dejected as he said this. He did not hate her, its just his mind was already made up on what he was going to do in the future. "You can still visit me in Kuoh Rias, and we can talk on the phone. So even though I will not join your peerage you can still count on me to be around if you need a helping hand." He said as he smiled gently at her.

Rias: "Thanks Issei." She said as she suddenly hugged him. "That means a lot to me." She said as she tightened her hug slightly while having tears in her eyes. Issei hugged her back and patted her back. This sight caused both Grayfia and Sirzechs to look at each other in surprise before smiling at Rias and Issei softly. Rias had never gotten close to someone so quickly before and they were happy to see Rias make a new friend. "But I am not going to give up on getting you to join me. Who knows, maybe after spending time with me you will want to join me." Rias said while smiling at Issei brightly.

Issei: "Well we will see about that, Rias." He said as he smirked at her slightly. "I am also willing to be your friend Koneko." He said as he let go of Rias and turned to Koneko. "Would you also like a hug before you go. I can be there for you to if you need me to." He said while smiling warmly at her. To everyone's surprise Koneko actually came forward and gave Issei a stiff hug.

Koneko: " Thank you." She said quietly as she clung to him more. His scent was warm and welcoming and it made Koneko feel safe just like it did for Kuroka. Issei gently rubbed her head and hugged her back.

Issei: "Your welcome. Anytime you need a shoulder to lean on your free to come see me." He said in a soft and caring tone. "I really want Kuroka to be able to see you again, Koneko. It pains me to see you both so lost without the other." He thought to himself as he gently separated from her.

Sirzechs: "Well now that we have that out of the way, how about you three exchange numbers. Then Grayfia will take Rias and Koneko back home while I take Issei home." He said while smiling at them all. It was obvious to Issei that he wanted to talk to him so he complied and gave the girls his number and got theirs before watching them leave with Grayfia. "Well now that they are gone we can get down to business." Sirzechs said in a more serious tone of voice. "Why did you agree to come with us knowing we were devils and who I really am?" He asked as he looked at Issei intently. He also began to leak some pressure around himself.

Issei: "I figured I would see what you wanted. I had no idea she would ask me to join her peerage. That one blindsided me." He said as he also began to leak some of his draconic mana. Both their pressures began to increase as the air around them began to distort and crackle as their energy clashed. Soon they were both giving off enough pressure to make a weak Ultimate Class being pass out. Sirzechs was genuinely surprised from the power he felt. Issei was at least as strong as a peak Ultimate Class being. Of course he had no clue Issei was still majorly holding back. "I think that is enough, don't you agree? If we keep it up this restaurant will be destroyed and we might attract attention neither of us wants." He said as he began to draw his draconic mana and pressure back in. Sirzechs did the same while sighing.

Sirzechs: "You are quite the monster. You are still a kid and already this strong, not to mention you are a human. Are you sure you do not wish to join any peerage? I know a few who you might like being around, of course I would be thrilled if you joined Rias." He said as he looked at Issei with a smile on his face.

Issei: "No thank you. Also you are wrong about something. I am not fully human, I am half dragon." He said while smirking at the look of astonishment that crossed Sirzechs face.

Sirzechs: "Do the dragons know about you? No, if they did know that they would probably have claimed you as one of their own. No one would touch you then." He said in a serious tone while looking at Issei warily. Dragons guarded their young-lings fiercely and would not back down from going to war if someone messed with them.

Issei: "No they do not, and I want to keep it that way. I am strong enough to look after myself. So are you done interrogating me, Sirzechs? Are you satisfied with letting your sister hang out around me?" He asked while teasing Sirzechs slightly. This caused Sirzechs to look at Issei intently for a second before sighing and chuckling.

Sirzechs: "Just make sure you look after her. If anything happens to her I will skin you alive. Do I make myself clear?" He said as he glared at Issei and then smiled at him before turning around and heading for the door. "She does not have many friends Issei. Just be there if she needs you to be okay?" He then vanished in a red teleportation sigil.

Issei: "I will. All my friends are precious to me." He said while smiling slightly before he left and went back to his room at his hotel as well. He then got ready for the next day of torture, cough cough, I mean signing, before going to bed thinking about all the stuff that had happened.
