The New Issei

It has been two years since Issei met Sirzechs and Rias. During this time a lot has happened. Issei has continued training and researching and he has spent a lot of time with the girls. He had gotten much closer to Akeno and Kuroka as well as Irina. The summer when he was eleven Irina had come and spent it with them and he had introduced her to the others. One problem that had cropped up had been when Irina had found out they all slept together and gotten really jealous but it had worked out in the end and Issei got another person clinging to him when he slept. It had been a fun summer for all of them. As Irina got older it was getting harder for her to come visit since she was being trained harder and going on low level missions, but they still called each other often and wrote letters so they were still really close. A problem that had popped up as Issei got older though was keeping Kuroka from assaulting him. Since Kuroka was a few years older than him and he looked a couple years older than he was she had started to get quite touchy and Issei had trouble fending her off. This had led to Issei often being caught in awkward moments by both Shuri and Akeno and getting constantly teased because of it.

Rias and Koneko had moved to Kuoh and started school along with Sona. Thanks to Rias, Issei had been introduced to Sona and they got along really well. He soon became both Rias's and Sona's best friend and they would hang out often at school as well as after. He had also introduced them all to Akeno but kept her race a secret with his artifact. Akeno and Rias had found that they got along really well so they would often hang out together and Akeno had told Rias she was a lightning mage. This had caused Rias to invite her to her peerage, which she obviously turned down. Rias pouted for an entire week after that and complained that both her and Issei enjoyed teasing her. To Koneko Issei had became a sort of big brother figure for her, but it was really hard to keep Kuroka from rushing to meet her. He had explained to Kuroka who was behind Rias and that it would be best to wait until they cleared her name. She had reluctantly agreed but asked him when they would do it. He had told her once he reaches Super Class he would take her to talk to Sirzechs about it, making her quite happy. He had also trained Kuroka to the point that she was as strong as a peak Ultimate class but she seemed stuck there for now.

Issei's biggest progress with the girls around him had come from Shuri. Kuroka had kept pushing her and even Akeno had joined in so Shuri's resistance had started to fade and she was close to being able to face her feelings. She would often cuddle with Issei now and they would spend time alone just enjoying the others company. This made Issei happy because he was glad she was moving on in her life. He had already fallen for her long ago and if she decided to take that final step and admit she loved him back he would be happy to accept her. But he also knew that she was hesitating because of his age. He was currently twelve but looked like he was fourteen. This made him seem still to young for Shuri, but he was confident she would accept him soon.

During these two years Issei had also often met up with Michael for their spars and now Issei won most of them. Him and Michael had also started talking about the changes Issei would make to the system in detail. Issei had also decided to do Michael and the angels another favor and help them finish the Brave Saint cards early on. A month ago he had finished the idea and given it to Micheal, who had then created the first two decks. One for him and one for Gabriel. He had thanked Issei excessively for this and told him that Heaven would always be his ally. He had also given Issei Ascalon and asked if there was anything else he needed. Issei had told him there was one thing he wanted. He wanted Michael and the other Seraphs to infuse an Evil Piece he had created with as much of their power as they can.

Issei had created a set of Evil Pieces for himself but altered them to be able to change as the King does. His King piece is also different and does not provide a boost. It is only there to stabilize his race changes and combining all of his energies in the future. This would allow him to add in the different races of an angel and a devil without destroying his body and still keeping his dragon side. They would all mix together and make him more powerful. The King piece also gave the other pieces the ability to change those in his Dragon Clan, what he called his peerage, into the same thing he was and even change them more if he changed his race in the future. Basically since he is currently a half dragon they would become one as well but if he changed his human side into half angel and half devil they would change into the same thing. Another scary thing about his pieces is that they are all mutated so the power boost is significant for whoever takes them in. Also unlike him since an outside catalyst is used, the chess pieces, he did not have to worry about them not being able to handle the transformation.

He wanted Michael and the other Seraphs to infuse his King piece with the power of the strongest angels so that he could become half angel, half dragon. He had already infused his draconic energy and made it the dominant one so that any energy added into the future would not change his dragon side. He explained this to Micheal and also told him that since his pieces are unique anyone changed with them will not fall because the dragon side is dominate and they are only half angel. Michael had agreed to his request and went back to heaven to charge the piece, the next day he had returned and told Issei that this would probably make him several times stronger, so he would have to get used to the changes and it might take awhile. Issei understood and thanked Michael for his help.

After Michael had left Issei had used the King piece on himself and went through a drastic change. He had gained 10 centimeters in height, his hair had changed from dark brown with two red streaks to white with two red streaks, and he had also become more handsome. On his back ten angelic wings that were more golden then white had appeared and they also looked slightly like a dragons with golden scales running along the top of them. He had also gained control over the light and holy elements to a frightening degree. His power had also risen to the peak of the Satan Class, but he felt like he had to gain full control of his new abilities before he could step into the Super Class. After he had finished his transformation he spent the next several days charging his Evil Pieces with both of his powers so that whoever he changed would be half angel and half dragon.

When he finished this he immediately went to Akeno and Shuri and asked them if they would like to join his Dragon Clan. They had both immediately agreed. He had then given them both a mutated Bishop piece and watched their transformations. Akeno got a little taller and slightly more beautiful. She also had six angelic wings on her back that looked exactly like his. They were a golden white, not black, and this shocked Akeno. As soon as the shock wore off she immediately rushed Issei and kissed him while thanking him for getting rid of the wings she hated. Shuri had used her piece next and she looked a few years younger and more beautiful afterwards. She also had six angelic wings like theirs on her back.

They both felt much stronger physically and their reserves of energy had greatly increased. They also both gained control of light and holy elements as well as the basic dragon abilities Issei had. Akeno had gained a major boost to her Lightning in both destructive capability and her control over it. Shuri had gained a high affinity to wind like her daughters for lightning. Despite both having only six wings Issei was confident they could take on someone with eight wings and win. The energy they used was just much more potent and powerful then what would be normal for someone with their amount of wings. Since this energy was unique to Issei and his Dragon Clan he decided to call it Genesis Mana. Issei had also offered to make Kuroka a member of his Clan but she had rejected saying she wanted to stay a Nekoshou. Issei had respected her choice but hoped she would change her mind in the future.

During those two years Issei had also gotten to know Gabriel a lot better. He had been to pretty much every place in Japan with her and a few other places in the world as well. She came at least twice a week to visit him and he greatly enjoyed her company. He had helped her with several problems she had that involved the church and had been there for her whenever she needed someone to talk to. Issei's house had become like a second home to Gabriel and Issei was someone she had come to value more than a friend but did not know what she was feeling. When she had asked Issei about this new feeling he had explained to her the concept of love between a man and a woman and that what she was feeling was the beginning of that. It had made Issei immensely happy that she was starting to feel the same way he did. He had also told her that what she felt was something that would grow stronger over time and if she ever felt like she did not want to leave his side and wished to stay with him then she had truly fallen in love. He told her to make sure she was serious with how she felt before they went any further with a relationship. Issei also had her research about relationsh.i.p.s and love online so that she could at least understand what she was feeling a little better. She had been quite embarrassed by some of the stuff she read but she still learned a lot and became closer to Issei because of it.

Issei had also started playing random games to kill time in between training since school and training were boring and he had won all the chess tournaments he had played in. He had published the last book in the Lord of the Rings trilogy and had come a long way on his three manga as well as the anime for all three series. So he had a lot of extra money to buy stuff. The first thing he did was buy a large Villa because he knew more people would probably live with him in the future. He then took one of the larger rooms and bought a whole bunch of different gaming consoles to make a game room. This became one of the places he loved most and he spent a lot of time in here with Rias, Koneko, Akeno, and Sona. His favorite game is Super Smash Brothers and he loved playing it in his free time. He loved it so much that he even entered a gaming tournament for it. He had no idea that this choice would lead to making an eccentric new friend.
