The New Issei

Kuroka: "So where are we?" She asked as she and Issei came out of a teleportation sigil. Issei and her had gotten up early in the morning and got ready to come here. Issei had Kuroka wear her necklace as well a kimono he made for her instead of her usual one. This kimono was as good as an Enchanted suit of armor and would protect her as well as boost her strength and speed. Issei himself is wearing Enchanted clothes and an inner armor as well as having his recreation of Balmung, Siegfried's sword, on his hip. Since he was going to fight a dragon he decided to go with it. Of course its rating had dropped from A+ to just A but it was still way stronger than any dragon slaying swords in this world.

Issei: "We are in the familiar forest. We are here to see Ddraigs old mate, Tiamat. It will likely result in a battle so you need to stay back when the fighting starts. The gear you are wearing will protect you but the power we both will be using is far above your own." He said as he began to lead the way towards where he felt Tiamat's aura coming from.

Kuroka: "Can you beat her Issei? She is the strongest dragon king." She asked in a nervous tone of voice. Dragons were hard to bring down because of their ridiculous defense and strength so she was worried Issei might not be able to hurt her.

Issei: "I will probably have to use my Balance Breaker and the full power of Balmung, but yes I can win." He said in a serious tone of voice. Of course he did not tell her about his other cheat abilities. If he really wanted Tiamat dead he could kill her rather easily. But he was here to beat her without killing her and then talk to her. This made it a lot harder. Plus Ddraig did not know how strong she was currently because it had been one hundred years since he had last ran into her. "We are here." He said as they stopped outside a massive cave. "Kuroka go hide and come out when it is over." He said as he activated the Boosted Gear.

Kuroka: "Okay, you be careful Issei." She said as she kissed him lightly before rushing off to hide.

Issei: "Lets do this Ddraig." He said as he raised his power to the limit and it began releasing a crazy amount of pressure around him. As he did so a roar was heard from the cave and a massive blue dragon came out and stood before Issei. What shocked Issei and Ddraig is the amount of power she was giving off. She was obviously at the Super Class just like Issei. "Looks like we are in for a fight Ddraig." He said as he got into a stance with Balmung in his hand.

Ddraig: "She was only Satan Class when we last met. This is going to be a tough fight partner." He said in a serious tone of voice. Dragons were typically stronger than most others in the same Class as them.

As Issei got ready to fight, Tiamat glared at the red gauntlet on his arm. She could feel the massive power given off by Issei and it let her know he was also a Super Class being. But she was confident she could crush him. Even with the Boosted Gear unless he had control of the Juggernaut Drive she believed she would win.

Tiamat: "Have you come to let me kill another host of yours Ddraig?" She asked harshly as she glared at Issei.

Ddraig: "If you underestimate him you will suffer Tiamat. But we have only come here to talk. I wish to speak with you and had Issei come here when he was ready." He said in a serious tone of voice.

Tiamat: "Do you think I care what you have to say after all this time Ddraig? If he can beat me then I might listen to what the both of you have to say. If not then I will just kill another one of your hosts." She said as she flared her power and took flight. Issei activated his Balance Breaker and opened his own wings to follow her. As soon as they were both high in the air they faced each other and got ready to fight.

Issei: "Are you sure you are not willing to talk to us?" He asked as he used his Balance Breaker to boost himself to her level. His current limit was the peak of Super Class before it began to put a burden on his body. He had only been a Super Class for a little over a week at this point so he was still adjusting. Once his body got a bit stronger he would be able to boost himself farther.

Tiamat: "Enough talk boy. Come at me." She said as she opened her mouth and let out a massive wave of fire. The heat it gave off was immense. It was like she just released an Advanced level spell at Issei.

Issei quickly used his teleportation to get above Tiamat and swung his sword down releasing a massive wave of light from Balmung. This was like a smaller version of Balmung's full release but it was still powerful and since it was from Balmung it contained dragon slaying properties, making the attack much more effective against Tiamat.

Tiamat reacted quickly and spun in the air while swinging her claws to meet the attack head on. But she had underestimated the power contained in that attack. It managed to crack one of her claws and caused her paw to be injured, drawing blood. Tiamat was dumbfounded at this, she knew how tough her claws are and how strong her scales are. To be injured, even if it was only slightly, made her shocked. But it also made her angry. She quickly focused on Issei and summoned lightning spears all around herself before launching it at him.

Issei used space magic to create a shield to block the lightning, but his shield quickly began to crack and soon shattered. But it had bought Issei enough time to dodge and he once again swung Balmung, this time he released several waves of the attack he had used earlier. All of them were blue and shaped like a crescent. They were sent one after another at Tiamat.

Tiamat did not take the attack lightly this time and made a dome of lightning around herself that blocked all the slashes while cracking here and there, but it still managed to hold. She then dismissed the shield and quickly breathed out another wave of fire at Issei. As she released the wave she immediately followed it using it to cover her form view.

Issei used magic to create a massive wave of water to stop the fire. As they clashed it created a bunch of steam that hid him from view causing Tiamat who was following the fire to also be covered in steam and lose sight of Issei. Issei had never lost sight of her though since he is using his control over space to sense her. He moved to her left side and then released another barrage of attacks from Balmung before he teleported to her other side and did the same. He was using his control of space to slow the attacks so that they would hit from both sides at the same time.

Tiamat had managed to sense the attacks coming from both sides and quickly summoned another dome of lightning to protect her. She also created hundreds of lightning spears and fired them at where the attacks were coming from. Issei had already predicted this and teleported above her to avoid them. As soon as she released her attack the sword waves hit her barrier and it began to quickly give out. There were a lot more than last time and she could not hold out for long before they broke through and hit her. Leaving several wounds on her sides and her wings. This caused her to fall from the sky and crash on the ground leaving a massive crater.

Issei followed her down but the dust from the impact hid her from view. His control over space allowed him to quickly react when her tail, covered in a sharp lightning edge, came lashing out at him from the crater, but he was still forced to block with his sword. The hit contained more strength then Issei had ever felt before and he was sent flying and only came to a stop when he crashed into a hill and shattered it. Issei g.r.o.a.n.e.d as he was lying in the rubble. That hit had managed to break three of his ribs and shatter his Balance Breaker armor. He also felt that he had a slight fracture in his right arm and some internal damage. If he was not wearing his inner armor he might have been cut in half.

Tiamat soon came out of the large crater she was in and glared at Issei. She had transformed into her humanoid dragon form. She had blue hair and eyes, horns on her head, claws on her hands and feet, and blue scales covering her arms, legs, and c.h.e.s.t. she also had wings on her back and it seemed her wounds had mostly healed when she transformed.

Issei also got up and transformed into his humanoid dragon form. His wounds quickly healed and his body got stronger. When Tiamat saw him transform she was shocked. Not many of Ddraig's hosts had become half dragons because the requirement for the transformation was really high. They both glared at each other and then pushed off the ground rushing towards each other. Issei swung Balmung at Tiamat and she covered her claws in condensed lightning before meeting his sword head on. In her humanoid form her claws were condensed and much tougher. So when they clashed they came to a stalemate.

Tiamat used her free hand to swing at Issei and Issei quickly jumped back to avoid the blow. She followed him and unleashed a barrage of lightning coated attacks at close range. Issei sped up his own moves with his sword to block her and combined wind with them to make them faster. Their clashes went back and forth at an insane speed with both of them being equally matched with the other. They both were getting nicked every now and then but all the wounds were shallow and quickly healed.

Issei had decided he had enough holding back at this point. She was strong enough that he believed she would not die if he started using stronger attacks. He teleported a long distance away from her and began to gather black flames in a ball he held above his head. The ball quickly grew in size and the heat it gave off was massive. He then created two more balls and when all three were the size of a house he teleported back with them to right above Tiamat. This had all been done in only thirty seconds seconds.

Once Issei had teleported away Tiamat had tried to find him but she could not sense him anywhere near her so she realized he was probably charging a large scale attack. She immediately started to gather lightning and condense it into a massive spear above her. She was angry that Issei had managed to push her this far, she was no longer holding anything back. When he reappeared she was going to wipe him out. This attack was strong enough to level a small country.

When Issei teleported above Tiamat he saw the massive spear and quickly launched all three spheres of hellfire at her. Tiamat had sensed him as soon as he appeared and immediately faced upward before launching the spear at him. The spear passed by the spheres of fire because Issei controlled them to move around it before moving them at high speed towards Tiamat. She quickly condensed as much lightning as she could around herself as armor and several lightning barriers. The first sphere hit the barriers and both destroyed each other, the second one hit the condensed lightning armor and and they both destroyed each other again. The last one hit her head on and she used all her power to resist it but it still left burns all over body and had made it so that in a few places she had been burned to the bone. She passed out from both pain and exhaustion after blocking them all.

While this was happening Issei summoned his version of Rho Aias to block Tiamat's attack. Unlike his other copied moves from Emiya this version was actually stronger then the original. He had designed it to have seven layers just like Emiya's and so long as he still had mana left he could theoretically hold the last layer. Unless of course someone was way stronger than him or their attack could break all the layers at once. Also each layer that broke would reinforce the one behind it with half the power in that layer. So if someone ever managed to make it to the last one it would be like trying to break all of them over again. Of course that only happened if they were not all broken at once. He had also managed to lessen that nasty backlash that breaking the layers caused Emiya. But it still caused him some damage and pain.

Tiamat's attack managed to break three layers of the shield before exploding and breaking two more. This caused Issei to groan as his arm had some muscles rupture and a massive amount of his mana was taken to maintain the shield. When the blast settled down he had only about a tenth of his mana left. This shocked him. That attack had been immensely powerful. After he checked his mana he started healing his injuries with healing magic as he went down to check on Tiamat. He was slightly worried he had killed her. When he got to her he found her still alive but seriously injured, so he also healed her before picking her up and heading for her cave. When he got close he called out to Kuroka and then headed inside with her while carrying Tiamat.

Issei did not know what he was expecting when he went inside the cave but he was definitely not ready to see a massive mansion farther in. He carried Tiamat and headed inside with Kuroka following them. When he reached the door he opened it and headed inside and then went to the living room. He then put Tiamat on one of the couches and sat on the couch next to that one. Kuroka came and sat next to him and cuddled up to him. He could feel that she was shaking slightly.

Issei: "Are you okay Kuroka? Your shaking." He said in a soft tone of voice as he looked at her with a worried look on his face. When he asked this Kuroka wrapped her arms around him and held him tightly.

Kuroka: "I was really worried about you. The amount of power both of your attacks had was frightening. That last attack made me think I might have lost you when it hit." She said as she looked at him with a scared look in her eyes. Issei's eyes softened as he heard this and he pulled her closer to him.

Issei: "I still had a few tricks up my sleeves I could have used Kuroka. I was just trying not to kill her. That's why I used magic in the end instead of some of my more deadly moves. I also wanted to test out my shield so I took her attack head on. I am sorry if I worried you." He said as he c.a.r.e.s.sed her head and held her against him. This caused her to stop shaking and relax slightly.

Kuroka: "Just promise me you will not do that anymore. If you can end a fight sooner, please do it. I do not like watching you get hurt. When she hit you with her tail I thought you might have been killed." She said as she sighed and let him go. She then moved so that she was sitting next to him while leaning on him.

Issei: "I will be more careful from now on. That was just my first fight against a strong opponent and I wanted to enjoy it. In the future I will end the fights quickly, unless I am using them as an example." He said as he smiled at her. "Now Tiamat why don't you stop pretending to be asleep." He said as he turned to look at Tiamat. This caused Tiamat to groan slightly as she opened her eyes.

Tiamat: "I really was out cold until just a few moments ago." She said as she sat up and sighed. "My body still aches all over from that last attack of yours." She said as she shivered slightly. Being burned alive did not feel good.

Issei: "Well my arm still aches from blocking your attack." He said as he shook his head. "So are you willing to listen to what we have to say now?" He asked as he looked at her with a serious look on his face.

Tiamat: "You beat me so of course I have no choice." She said bitterly as she leaned back on the couch.

Issei: "In his fight against Albion the treasure Ddraig borrowed from you was shattered and the pieces were scattered." He said as he looked at her and waited for her response.

Tiamat: "I know that. I told him that he had to return my treasure but he went and broke it. It is why I am so angry at him." She growled out while glaring at Issei. This caused Issei to sigh and shake his head.

Issei: "Ddraig had his previous wielders gather the fragments so I am here to return them to you." He said as a pile of stuff appeared behind the couch he was on. This caused Tiamat's eyes to widen. She had not expected Ddraig to do this.

Ddraig: "Can you forgive me now and stop trying to kill my hosts?" He asked in a subdued tone of voice. He really wanted to have this crazy woman stop hunting his partners.

Tiamat: "Fine I will forgive you and stop hunting them. If that is all can all of you please leave. I want to rest." She said while sighing and looking at the treasure with sadness on her face. This caused Issei to realize that the treasure had been really important to her.

Issei: "Do you want me to fix that for you?" He asked as he gestured to the pile before looking back at her. This caused Tiamat to look at him in shock.

Tiamat: "Can you really fix it?" She asked in a hopeful voice as she looked at Issei with an excited look on her face.

Issei: "Yeah I can. Just give me a couple of hours." He said as he stood up and headed over to the pieces.

Tiamat: "Wait. Is there anything you would like from me for this. You are giving me back something I had thought I lost. Anything you may need If I can provide it I will." She said as she got up and came over to stand in front of Issei. This caused Issei to think carefully about her offer before his eyes lit up as he got an idea.

Issei: "Would you be willing to join my team? It is like a peerage but your race is changed to be a hybrid. So far your dragon side would be strengthened and you would become part angel. Later the angel part will be upgraded to a Nephalem when I add in devil energy to the angel part. So what do you say? Want to join me?" He asked as he looked at her with a serious look on his face.

Tiamat: "You could have asked anything of me and you just want me to join your team." She said with a slightly disappointed look on her face. Ddraig started sweating as he saw her looking like that and started to feel slightly sorry for Issei. He had seen her acting that way before when she was his mate.

Issei: "Yeah, are you willing? You will not be a pure dragon anymore." He said as he looked at her with a questioning look on his face.

Tiamat: "I really do not mind being not fully dragon, So I will join you. Plus being around you seems like it will be interesting." She said as she looked at Issei while slightly smirking. Issei shivered when he saw that look. He had seen that look on his girls faces as they teased him.

Issei: "Okay then. I will make you one of my Rooks then. Afterwards I will fix your treasure." He said as he took out one of his Rooks and pressed it into Tiamat's c.h.e.s.t. She was covered in a glow and her aura got even denser as well as stronger. When the light faded Tiamat stood there with only slight changes. She had gotten a little taller and now had twelve wings on her back. Her wings are gold like the others but the tops of them, where the scales are, are blue and they look more like a dragons than an angels. But they are still covered in gold feathers. They looked beautiful.

Tiamat: "Wow this feels good. I feel stronger and I can now control light and holy elements. Thanks Issei, this is wonderful." She said as she smiled at him.

Issei: "Glad you like it. Now I need to get to work." He said as he turned around and started to gather the pieces before getting to work. Kuroka and Tiamat both went off to the side to talk as he worked so as to not disturb him. Tiamat asked Kuroka everything she could think to ask about Issei. Kuroka gladly told her everything since she was now a part of the team. When Tiamat found out Issei already had a harem from Kuroka she had decided what her next move would be. Two hours later Issei finished fixing the treasure and he and Kuroka got ready to leave. But before they could Tiamat stopped them.

Tiamat: "Do you mind if I come with you Issei?" She asked as she smiled at him with a look of anticipation on her face.

Issei: "What for? Do you have business in the human world?" He asked her. He was confused why she would want to go with them but Kuroka guessed what she wanted and just shook her head as she realized another one had fallen for Issei or was at least interested in him.

Tiamat: "I want to move in with you since I am now a member of your team. It would be better if I stayed close to you right?" She explained as she looked at him with a slightly pleading look on her face. This caused Issei to sigh as he realized even more trouble had just fallen into his l.a.p.

Issei: "Fine, but you have to get along with the other people there. Go pack and we will wait here for you." He said as he shook his head. He did not have the willpower to turn her down right now, he was just to tired after everything that had happened. When he accepted Tiamat looked really happy as she ran off to pack. Half an hour later she came back and was ready to go. They then all went back to Issei's Villa and settled her in as well as introduced her to the others. Tiamat got along well with them and they all spent the rest of the day relaxing with Issei.
