The New Issei

Issei: "Goodbye Gabriel. Make sure to come visit as often as you can." He said as he hugged her outside his house. He then kissed her and turned to head inside.

Gabriel: "I will." She said as she watched him head inside. "It hurts just watching him leave like this, even though it will probably only be a few days before I see him again. Why does it hurt like this? It didn't feel as bad before." She thought with a pained expression on her face before she turned around and was covered in light as she went back to her room in Heaven.

Issei: "I really am sorry Gabriel. For someone like you being separated from someone you love is probably torture." He thought to himself as he leaned on the door. He had seen her expression from the corner of his eye as he went inside and it pained him. "Well no use thinking about this right now. It's time I get Kuroka and go clear her name." He thought as he stopped leaning on the door and got a determined look on his face. He then went inside the house and found all three of the girls in the living room playing a board game. He laughed as he saw the distressed look on Kuroka's face and the evil glint in Akeno's eyes. This alerted them all to his arrival and they all turned to him quickly before getting up and rushing him. They were all soon hugging him and welcoming him back. "It really is good to be home." He thought as he felt warm from the hugs the girls were giving him. "I really missed you all." He said as he hugged them back.

Shuri: "We missed you to. It was actually hard to sleep for us without you here." She said as she smiled at him while still hugging him.

Akeno: "Yeah it felt like something was missing when we tried to sleep." She said as she hugged him tighter.

Kuroka: "Next time you go somewhere I want to come along. I am a cat so I do not like not being able to sleep." She said as she looked at him with a fierce look in her eyes. That look made it clear she was going whether he wanted her to or not.

Issei: "I am okay with that but not to places like Heaven. They would not accept you." He said as he patted her head and c.a.r.e.s.sed her ears. This caused her to purr as she snuggled closer to him. "Are you ready to go to the Underworld to clear your name Kuroka?" He asked he as he stopped petting her. This caused Kuroka to pout slightly.

Kuroka: "I am ready. After this I can openly be with you like Akeno and Irina so I am really looking forward to it." She said as she stopped pouting and smiled happily.

Issei: "Things might get a little dangerous at first so please stay close to me alright?" He said as he looked at her with a serious look in his eyes. He then separated from the girls and went to sit down in the living room with them. Kuroka sat on his l.a.p, Shuri and Akeno sat on either side of him as they all relaxed.

Kuroka: "I know, I will stay as close to you as you want me to." She said in a slightly seductive tone as she pushed her b.r.e.a.s.ts against his c.h.e.s.t to tease him. Issei was used to it and simply smiled at her.

Issei: "Good, you should be safe that way. Now I need to call Sirzechs to arrange a meeting time." He said as he formed a magic sigil on his hand and connected it to Sirzechs. As he was doing this both Akeno and Shuri snuggled in closer to him. They knew he would be leaving again soon so they wanted to at least hold him for a little longer. A couple moments later Sirzechs picked up.

Sirzechs: "Hello Issei. What can I do for you today?" He said in a cheerful tone of voice. One thing Issei could appreciate about Sirzechs was that in private he was really laid back.

Issei: "Sirzechs I need to set up a meeting with you today if you can arrange it. It's for official business so it would be better to hold it in your mansion. I will also be bringing someone with me so you will need to make arrangements for both of us." He said in a serious tone of voice.

Sirzechs: "Yeah I am free today, besides this mountain of paperwork keeping me company. You can drop by in an hour and I will be ready to talk to you." He said as glared at the ridiculous amount of paper on his desk. He wished he could just erase it with his power of destruction, but alas, it comes with his job and Grayfia would never let him off if he did that.

Issei: "Good, I will see you then. Also I have told you before that you can have Grayfia help you with your paperwork, but you said she already has enough work as it is. She is your wife and personal maid Sirzechs. She would be glad to help you." He said as he shook his head and then dispersed the sigil. "That idiot does not want to burden his wife but she would be glad to help him." He said as he sighed and leaned back so he could pull the girls closer to him.

Shuri: "Most men are idiots like that. They do not want to share their work with us even though they know we can help. You are one of the few I have met who does not mind us helping you when you need it." She said as she smiled him.

Issei: "I just prefer to not piss you off. Grayfia gets really mad at Sirzechs for not letting her help him when he is overworked like now." He said as he smiled wryly as he remembered the last time this had happened. Grayfia had complained to him about Sirzechs and his pigheadedness and also told him about how worried she was about him overworking himself. Issei had told her he would try to convince him and he had done just that but Sirzechs insisted on not giving more work to Grayfia. They really were a strange couple and it was obvious they had trouble expressing their feelings to each other. Especially Grayfia. She always acted as a perfect maid despite being Sirzechs wife and Issei knew this caused Sirzechs some pains since he liked to spoil her as just his wife.

Akeno: "I do not know why Sirzechs cannot see that Grayfia is just worried about him." She said in amus.e.m.e.nt as she shook her head. She thought it was kind of funny to watch the interactions between those two.

Issei: "Well it is probably because she is always the perfect maid around him instead of actually showing her feelings for him." He said as he sighed. "They both have trouble expressing what they feel and it leads to things like this."

Kuroka: "Well enough about them. We have almost an hour to cuddle so lets stop talking and just enjoy this." She said as she pulled herself up so the her heed rested on Issei's collarbone and turned so she was facing sideways on his l.a.p before she snuggled up against him and relaxed. Akeno and Shuri both smiled before they snuggled into his sides and put their heads on his shoulders. Issei wrapped his arms around them all and relaxed. This felt great for them all and they loved how they could just relax like this without any care in the world. They stayed like that until it was time for Issei and Kuroka to go.

Sirzechs: "Welcome Issei, it's good to see you again." He said as Issei and Kuroka came out of a teleportation sigil outside of his mansion. Kuroka was currently wearing an Enchanted cloak that hid her face in shadow and also hid her energy signature, ears and tails. So right now she seems like a human with her face hidden in shadow. Sirzechs went forward to welcome Issei and shook his hand.

Issei: "It is good to see you to Sirzechs." Issei said as he shook his hand.

Sirzechs: "Is this the person you said you were bringing with you?" He said as he looked at her with curiosity. "She feels like a human. Do you need my help for something involving her?" He asked as he turned and led them both inside.

Issei: "We will discuss that in your office. I will also place wards so that no one will hear what we say there. You might want to bring Grayfia as well so that I do not have to repeat myself to much." He said as he followed Sirzechs to his office. After he said this Sirzechs used a sigil to send for Grayfia.

Sirzechs: "My office is already warded so you do not have to worry about that. But it must be pretty serious if you want to keep everything under wraps." He said as they reached his office. They waited outside for a bit for Grayfia to get there and then they all went inside. Issei and Kuroka sat on one sofa while Sirzechs sat on one across from them with Grayfia standing behind him.

Issei: "It is. Do the both of you trust me?" He asked as he looked at them with a serious look on his face. If he saw any indication of them not trusting him he would leave and take this to someone else. He saw them both as friends but he was not going to gamble with the life of a woman he loved.

Sirzechs: "Do you even have to ask that Issei?" He said as he looked at Issei with a serious but caring look on his face. Grayfia had stayed silent but was smiling at him with a warm look on her face. That was all the answer Issei needed. "We both see you as family by this point Issei. If you need something we will do what we can to help you." He said as he smiled warmly at him.

Issei: "Thank you both. Now I want you to both to remain calm. I am going to set some wards so that anything that goes on in here will not be felt or heard outside." He said as he got up and used some artifacts to set up an extremely powerful barrier that essentially made the office a separate space. Grayfia and Sirzechs were both shocked at the power they felt from the barrier.

Sirzechs: "This is incredible. I did not know you were so adept at barriers Issei." He said as he looked on with shock as Issei layered several more barriers to reinforce the original.

Grayfia: "I have never seen anything like this before. These barriers are even beyond what are used for Rating Games." She she said as she studied the barriers with an impressed look on her face.

Issei: "Okay all done. You can take the cloak off now Kuroka." He said as he came and sat next to her. Kuroka removed the cloak and let out a sigh of relief. When her face and aura were revealed Sirzechs and Grayfia both stiffened and looked at Issei with questioning looks.

Kuroka: "That cloak gets stuffy Issei." She said as she put it aside and then grabbed his arm as she leaned on him. This caused Issei to sigh at the way she was acting and shake his head. The sight caused Grayfia and Sirzechs to both loosen up and relax but they still kept their guards up.

Sirzechs: "You know she is a criminal right Issei? Why are you so close to her?" He asked as he looked back and forth between the two of them. "This might complicate things with Rias." He thought bitterly. He could see how close they are and if Issei decided to choose to back a criminal he would also become one. Rias would be devastated if that happened.

Issei: "I am here to clear her name. I need your help for that. Those old devils on the council will only back down if all four Satans come forward. Plus you would need enough evidence to prove her innocence. I have the evidence but I need your help to get the other three Satans to agree to clear her name. Will you help me?" He said as he looked at Sirzechs with a hopeful look on his face. He did not want to have to do things the other way.

Sirzechs: "Let me see the evidence and if it is enough I will gather the others and work to clear her name." He said as he smiled at Issei. "If I do this for you can I ask for your help in the future? There is something I would like you to solve for me. Even if you say no I will still help you since I said I would earlier and you are like family. I just could really use your help when the time comes." He said as his face turned slightly desperate. He really needed Issei's help.

Issei: "Of course I will help you if I can. Now lets get Kuroka's problem settled." He said as he took out an old book from his pocket space. While he was doing so he was thinking. "He must want my help with Riser. Well Rias is my friend so I have no problem with helping them. I will also have fun playing with that bastard." He then handed the book to Sirzechs. "That book is a record of experiments that were done on Kuroka that was kept by the guy who did them. It also mentions that he was planning to start experimenting on Koneko. That is the reason Kuroka killed him. She could not let her sister go through that." He said in disgust as he glared at the book. When Sirzechs heard this his face hardened.

Sirzechs: "If that is true then he broke several laws that would have him killed and Kuroka acted in self defense for her and her family." He said as he opened the journal. He then began to look through it. His face turned slightly green at some of the things he read and saw in there. Grayfia who was standing behind him was giving out a cold aura and looked furious. "This is definitely enough evidence to prove her innocence." He said as he closed the journal. "I will contact the other three and call them here. With this journal it should only take about a week to clear her name." He said as he got up and got ready to call the others.

Issei: "You will need to go out of the room to call, since all these new wards are up. Also they are permanent so enjoy the beefed up security." He said as he smiled at Grayfia and Sirzechs both having shocked looks. "Do you need me and Kuroka to stay or can you take care of everything on your own?" He asked as Sirzechs got ready to leave the room. Sirzechs stopped and got a thoughtful look on his face before he looked back at them.

Sirzechs: "You can go. We will have this all sorted out within a week for you." He said as he smiled at them.

Issei: "Good. Before we go can you tell me what you want me to do for you? If it is something that goes against my morals or against Heaven I will not do it." He said as he looked at Sirzechs with a serious look on his face. This caused Sirzechs to sigh and sit back down.

Sirzechs: "In a few years time I need you to save my sister from her engagement. All you will have to do is fight someone for me." He said as he looked at Issei with a slight pleading look on his face.

Issei: "You do know I am not a devil. Do you think the council will recognize any agreements made between her fiance and me?" He asked as he looked at Sirzechs with a serious look on his face. "I won't join her peerage if that is what you are asking." He said as he glared at Sirzechs slightly.

Sirzechs: "While it would be great to have you join her peerage, no that is not what I am asking. There is an ancient law that allows one to choose a champion to fight for their freedom if their is an arranged marriage. This law can only be used by someone three times and the champion has to be within the same age group as the one they are representing. The champion also cannot be family. If they win they break the engagement and they gain freedom from any arranged marriages for the next one hundred years. But if they lose they are essentially forced into slavery to the one they are engaged to. But nowhere in the law does it say that the champion has to be a devil." He said as he smirked at Issei. "I know you are strong enough to beat Riser so will you accept? If Rias has one hundred years I am sure she will find someone to spend her life with." He said as he was thinking. "If Issei saves her she is guaranteed to fall for him even more then she already has. She might even confess."

Issei: "This law was not in the anime, but it really helps me now." He thought as he smiled slightly. "I accept. Rias is my friend and I would love to give her a helping hand. But I want you to keep quiet about this until Riser pushes the issue. You can then have Grayfia tell both Rias and Riser that I will be fighting him when he shows up to bug Rias. I can't wait to see the looks on both of their faces." He said as his smile became slightly evil. This caused all the others in the room to just shake their heads.

Sirzechs: "That is fine for me. So long as you agree then everything is great." He said as he got up. "Well it was nice seeing you, but now I have to go clear Kuroka's name." He said as he smiled at them then he turned around and left the room.

Grayfia: "Thank you for agreeing to help Rias." She said as she smiled at them softly before she bowed and then left the room after Sirzechs.

Kuroka: "I like those two. They seem like good people. Sirzechs kind of reminds me of Azazel." She said as she smiled. She had met Azazel by accident six months ago and he had not minded that she was a stray devil. He had also been furious at the experiments that were conducted on her. Plus his perverted nature was like her own and they would team up to tease Issei.

Issei: "They are both good people. Well lets go. After we go home and rest, tomorrow I have to go do something again." He said while sighing. "I seem to be really busy lately." He said as he created a teleportation sigil and teleported them back to their house.

Kuroka: "Can I come along when you leave tomorrow?" She asked as she gave him those deadly eyes again.

Issei: "Can I bring her Ddraig?" He asked as he looked away from Kuroka.

Ddraig: "You can, just make sure she is wearing her necklace in case she gets attacked." He said in a serious tone of voice.

Issei: "Okay you can come Kuroka, but it is going to be dangerous so make sure to stay close to me." He said as he looked back at her.

Kuroka: "Yay! I promise!" She said as she hugged him happily. They then both went inside and told everything that had happened to the other two. They were both happy for Kuroka, but were sad he was leaving again. So Issei took all three of them out on a date for the rest of the day. When they got home they all slept together again. Issei almost could not control himself when Kuroka decided to sleep n.a.k.e.d with them and this caused the other two to do the same, but he managed to calm down and finally go to sleep. Kuroka was actually really irritated that Issei managed to resist her again and decided to up her game from now on, poor Issei.
