The Only Delicacy

In the second classroom, the students were also whispering to one another, silent enough for their teacher not to hear. However, unlike the first classroom, only the girls were chattering with each other. The boys just slept, doodled, yawned and showed no interest.

"Hey, do you know where Kevin-sama is? The bell already rang a while ago!" One girl anxiously asked her friend.

"Actually, the last time I saw him was on the stairs. He seemed so happy at that time and nothing was wrong with him…" Her friend replied and pondered over the matter that she forgot.

"Idiot! Have you forgotten that we also saw Kevin-sama bump into his brother? Moreover, his brother was carrying Scarlet-sama!" Another girl, who was eavesdropping, replied with a hint of frustration. She now witnessed how forgetful her companion was. They had just seen that some minutes ago and she already forgot?! Unbelievable!

"Oh, yeah! That's right! After that, Kevin seemed to change… It was odd. Even though he was smiling, he did not seem to be smiling… That was the first time I saw him like that, you know what I mean?" She was finally able to remember everything thanks to her companion. However, what she had seen was very odd. No matter how many times she racked her brain for answers, nothing came out.

"No way! Kevin-sama is always Kevin-sama! No matter how much he changes, he will always be our Kevin-sama!" The eavesdropper proudly replied as if she was boasting about her child.

"Based from what you have said, I think he's just different a while ago because he saw his brother carrying someone… I think." Another girl, who was eavesdropping, whispered her thoughts loud enough for them to hear.

"Hmm? Oh yeah! If a person was being carried by Kevin-sama's brother, then don't you think something happened? Like, maybe they went to the clinic?" The first girl, who started the conversation, pondered as she replied back with a question.

The other girls beamed at her and nodded their heads as they finally got the answer to where their idol, Kevin-sama, was.

"But, why would Kevin-sama also go to the clinic? Wait! First, why would Kevin-sama be so happy going up the stairs? Why would he bump into his brother out of all people? Most of all, why would his entire aura change once he saw them?" Another additional eavesdropper, who was taking note of every detail, spontaneously asked, without knowing that every question she uttered had delivered a massive blow to each of the girls' hearts.

All of the other girls widened their eyes, parted their mouths, and looked at one another, as if they had just found the piece of the puzzle.

However, their efforts were useless.

Through her sensitive ears, Amanda, who was seating in the front row, had heard everything they had just said, including the hidden meaning of their body language. She secretly gritted her teeth and tightly gripped onto her ball pen as she affectionately smiled at the teacher and pretended to focus on the lecture before her.

Once the boys saw her smile, they became so captivated by it that they saw flowers blooming all around her, making her seem more angelic and lovable than before.

Indeed, as long as their angel, Amanda-sama, was here, then they did not care where that girlfriend or crush stealer, Kevin-sama, was. In fact, they were quite happy with his absence.

Very happy.

After several hours, the bell rang to indicate lunch time. Immediately after that, all classes were dismissed and a lot of students crowded the hallway to go to the canteen, the restroom or other places they wanted to go to.

At the same time, Scarlet slowly fluttered her lashes open and reluctantly woke up from her sweet slumber because of the loud sound of the bell. She looked at the ceiling and wondered where she was. After a few seconds, she finally felt the suffocation from being sandwiched in between, so she looked at the two culprits embracing her.

Right then, Scarlet remembered the entire event this morning. She checked her body and became relieved. Her head was not aching anymore. The red marks were slowly fading away. The pain in between her legs was still there, but it was more bearable than before.

Scarlet stared at both of her saviors and her heart became grateful towards them. No matter if they wanted to be her friend or not, they still helped her out of kindness and concern. Hence, she could only sadly accept the fact that she had more debts to pay back to them. But of course, she would not say that or remind them.

Once the opportunity arose, she would definitely pay them back.

Scarlet mentally noted to herself that she had to take care of her health better in order to not increase her debts. Moreover, she could not afford to decrease her attendance rate just because of her mistakes.

That was obviously a waste of money spent for school!

After she had finished deciding on what to do, Scarlet finally realized that she was still suffocated in between these two men. She gently and slowly moved to escape from their hold and to not wake them up from their deep slumber.

However, contrary to her expectations, they both responded by tightening their hold on her and waking up from her slight movement.

"You awake, Li?" Kevin softly yawned, affectionately stared at her eyes, and lovingly smiled at his beloved sweetheart. This was the second time that he had experienced such a nice and deep sleep that he became reluctant to even wake up if not for her slight movement.

As a matter of fact, Kevin would love to stay on the bed with her in his arms and sleep forever.

Meanwhile, Kyle also reluctantly woke up and affectionately stared at his beloved. He also had such a good sleep that he became so dazed right when he woke up. As someone who prioritized work and efficiency, that was another first for him.

When he had heard his brother's question, Kyle finally woke up from his dazed state and realized that he had actually worn his glasses to sleep for the second time. The first time was when they had placed alcohol all over their beloved.

Kyle mentally noted to remind himself that he should take his glasses off before sleeping.

Scarlet nodded at Kevin's question and became slightly amused. She was obviously awake. She softly added, "Um.. I can't breathe…"

Both of the twins immediately loosened their hold. They were reluctant to let go of her warmth, so they did not let her go. They simply helped their beloved to get up and sit on the bed while they also sat beside her.

At once, Scarlet felt that she could finally breathe despite still being entangled from their embrace.
