The Only Delicacy

As Amanda was about to make her next move, a soft grumble could be heard all across the bed, thereby diverting the attention of everyone to where it came from.

Scarlet immediately blushed and averted her gaze when the twins and Amanda had looked at her. Indeed, that grumble came from her stomach. She would have never realized she was hungry herself, if not for that grumble.

Scarlet also remembered that she had skipped breakfast this morning and did not have the time to prepare her lunch, because of how worried she was about her pain and red marks occurring out of the blue. Hence, she had no choice but to suffer the first embarrassment of her life.

Seeing that it came from the trash, Amanda secretly snickered and hoped that this would turn these twins off.

However, contrary to her expectations, Kevin only chuckled at how adorable his beloved sweetheart was and Kyle affectionately gazed at her and thought of the same thing. Out of instinct, Kevin gently rubbed her back while Kyle gently massaged her stomach in a circular motion in order to appease it.

Their actions made Scarlet extremely embarrassed that her cheeks up to her ears were painted with a rosy tint. She felt like a hungry beggar asking others for food. She really wanted to escape, but no matter how much she had tried, they were just too firm!

"Seems like Li is hungry! What do you want, Li? I'll buy it for you. Or do you prefer that we order from a restaurant?" Kevin joyfully asked as he affectionately gazed and smiled at his beloved sweetheart. He realized that this was his first time treating his beloved, so he treasured this moment.

Well, first time or not, Kevin would happily oblige to all of her requests as long as it was within his reach. If ever it was not within his reach, then he would use all means to acquire it just for his beloved.

This showed just how much he loved her.

Meanwhile, Kyle simply nodded at his brother's words. He was not really the talkative type, but it was different when it came to his first love. He would love to ask or talk to her, but his brother kept stealing the words that was about to go out of his mouth.

Well, he was fine either way. His first priority was his beloved.

When she had heard Kevin's question, Scarlet immediately blushed, shifted her head sideways and softly replied, "Canteen is fine. The cheapest meal there would do."

"Ok, then! Be good and wait for me, alright?" Kevin beamed at his beloved sweetheart and affectionately patted her head.

Kevin secretly thought of buying the best and most healthy meal in the canteen, regardless of the price. Of course, that type of meal was only the most deserving for his future wife.

Kyle immediately rolled his eyes. What did his brother think of him all this time? Unreliable? In fact, that should be the last word in his brother's dictionary.

Kyle also intensely eyed at his brother, pushed his idiotic brother away from Scarlet, and gestured him to hurry up and leave or else his beloved might literally die from hunger.

After he had his fill of teasing his super serious brother, Kevin swiftly dodged his brother's forceful push, reluctantly let go of his beloved and smiled at her for the last time as he waved goodbye before leaving, "Then, I'm going, Li!"

What happened before Amanda's eyes was way too in contrast with her expectations again, so small veins began popping out of her forehead. Fortunately for her, it was small enough that no one could see it, except for the baby cupid.

Amanda thought, 'Just what was so special about this trash? Trash was supposed to be nothing, but trash!'

Amanda also brightly smiled at both Kyle and Scarlet, "I'll accompany Kevin-kun, then. I'll be right back, Scarlet-chan and Kyle-kun."

No way was she going to stay here for another second while the trash was before her eyes. Staring at the trash would pollute her clean eyes! Hence, she might as well capture her first target along the way to the canteen before breaking their relationship.

Amanda turned around and found that Kevin had already left her. So, she hastily ran after him while slightly panting in an adorable manner, "Kevin.. ha.. ha.. wait for me!"

As they left the clinic, Scarlet stared at Kyle who was still tightly embracing her like a knot. She silently sighed to herself. She literally felt like a teddy bear.

Sensing his beloved's intense stare, Kyle also shifted his gaze from the closed door to his first love and wondered if she wanted to say something to him.

When she saw the concern in his eyes, Scarlet thought of how caring these twins were. Even without her saying it, they took the initiative to buy her food and help her whenever she needed it the most. She owed them way too much now.

Was this the feeling of how friends were like?

While she thought of that, Scarlet did not know that she was gazing at Kyle in an affectionate manner. It was strong enough to leave a very deep impression on him and imprint it within his soul forever.

Right at that moment, Kyle felt another cupid arrow striking his heart. One part of his mind complained at how small the arrow was, but that complaint was left on deaf ears for two reasons. First, he did not want to argue over nonsense things. Second, he was too captivated by how beautiful his beloved was that everything around him became literally blurry.

Kyle absolutely did not mind if they would stare at each other forever.

Meanwhile, out on the hallway that was away from their classrooms, several students were running here and there in order to reach towards their main destination - the clinic. These students were none other than the loyal members of the Kyle x Scarlet x Kevin fan base.

Presently, they were so excited by the text message that their leaders, Nene and Jojo, had just sent this lunch. They could not believe their eyes! Their beautiful idol, Scarlet-sama, actually had an unconventional relationship. Moreover, it was with both of the twins!

They were literally shocked out of their brains! Rather than shock, they became extremely excited that they immediately took the initiative to watch over the trio's romance by going to the clinic to represent their dear leaders who were unfortunately absent on this day.

As they turned from one corner to the other, the first in line immediately gestured the others to stop. With high efficiency and concentration, the others also immediately stopped and leaned against the wall, as if they were on a dangerous mission.

The girl, who was the first in line, stared at the two familiar silhouettes out in the hallway and softly gasped. Seeing her shocked expression, the others also silently peeked towards that direction out of curiosity and gasped at the same time.

At a certain corner of an empty hallway, an adorable and petite girl was panting while running after a handsome man who was brisk walking towards the canteen.

"Kevin-kun, wait for me!" Amanda softly yelled out while taking note that she looked alluring as always.

However, Kevin simply continued on with his fast pace and became slightly irritated. His classmate, Amanda, had always been annoying him ever since the first day of classes. He always got that small feeling that she was manipulating him and he knew that his gut feeling was always correct. Hence, that was one of the reasons he would always stay in the clinic during break time or when he felt like cutting classes.

Seeing that he would not bother to stop or turn around, Amanda stopped acting weak and increased her pace until she could grab the blazer of Kevin.

Once she had successfully grabbed it, Amanda slightly panted and tenderly smiled while looking up to him, "Gotcha! I told you to wait, but you wouldn't, Kevin-kun! How mean~~"

Because that girl had grabbed his blazer, Kevin had no choice but to stop, turn around and show her a dazzling smile which was even brighter than the sun.

When she saw him smile, Amanda slightly blushed because that smile was too alluring. Moreover, it was paired with such a handsome face! As she drifted off into dreamland, she never once noticed that his crescent eyes were not smiling, but impatiently telling her to let go of his blazer and leave him alone.

Seeing that the girl was just dazedly standing there like an idiot, Kevin ignored the girl and continued walking towards the canteen.

But, before he could take the first step, Amanda came back to reality, grabbed his blazer to make him stop, and adorably smiled at him, "Kevin-kun, I'm just kidding! You're not mean, it's Scarlet-chan who's mean! She didn't even bother to tell me that she's sick! Furthermore, she made me so worried for the whole morning! She could at least tell me about it since we're best friends! Right, Kevin-ku-"

Before she could even continue, Kevin swiftly swiped away the hand that was grabbing onto his blazer like a fly and intensely eyed her while displaying the same dazzling smile on his face. This time, he did not bother to hide the rampant and negative emotions within his mind. All of them were clearly written on his face and all of them were oddly in sync with his kind smile.

This girl said they were 'best friends,' but from her actions, was she trying to starve his beloved to death?

Moreover, a best friend who would not stop criticizing her own friend?

'Don't make me laugh.' Kevin thought and displayed the flare from his eyes, but he still had the rationality to leash the beast within.

This girl's acting was so obvious. He was no idiot.

When she saw the bright, angelic and alluring smile coming from him, Amanda felt her back drenched with sweat for the second time. She had sharp instincts, so she knew that Kevin was displaying his true attitude again. That image was a great contrast to his gentlemanly image.

If she continued on playing with his patience, she doubted that she would be able to survive from his hidden wrath. It was not an exaggeration to say that he might even kill her.

She was no fool.

Hence, Amanda just silently stood there and faced the ground as she felt Kevin immediately leaving her behind with a faster pace.

'Is she going to cry?' The eavesdroppers thought as they looked onto the scene before them like they were watching a movie. From their positions, they clearly saw the fierce reaction of Kevin and heard the soft words that Amanda had uttered.

That was the first time they saw Kevin angry and it was definitely not a joke. If they were scared out of their wits that even their hearts had skipped a beat, then how much more for that pitiful girl?

However, at the next second, they immediately became dumbfounded and threw away that thought.

That girl was actually smiling so beautifully! Was she a masochist?

Amanda stared at the direction where her dear Kevin had left and beamed with delight. If he was showing his true self to her, of course she would not be as narrow-minded as to judge him for that slight change. It would only be part of the many things that she loved about him.

Amanda thought back to what had made her dear Kevin angry and that thought made her angry in return. That trash was actually the reason why her dear Kevin got so angry! Only she could make her dear Kevin angry, not her! Only she could be in his eyes, not her! Everything that Kevin owned, expressed, and felt were all hers!

The twins were all hers!

Through the help of her burning fury, Amanda hastily chased after Kevin and left the hallway.

Meanwhile, the onlookers still could not be taken out of their dumbfounded state. The reason for this was simple. From their perspectives, they saw a beautiful girl smiling while running after a man who did not want her around.

Moreover, they felt something odd with her smile. It felt exactly like Kevin's, revealing yet leashing the beast within. Except, that smile seemed very malicious and overbearing.

When she turned to one corner, the onlookers now saw the girl's face and became dumbfounded for an nth time.

That masochistic girl was actually Amanda! The number two beautiful goddess from Kevin's class!

When they realized that fact, they immediately became thankful that the number one goddess was in their classroom. They absolutely did not want to be classmates with that kind of two-faced girl, no matter how beautiful she was.

Out of the blue, their stomachs grumbled, indicating how hungry they were for skipping lunch. They immediately followed after Amanda and Kevin to the canteen with the purpose of watching them while buying some food. Since Kevin was now part of the family, then they had to watch out for any of Amanda's moves. They could not help their change of plans.

Sadly, they had to reserve going to the clinic for later.
