The Path Of A Ninja : Eyes Of Death & Body Of Life

Soon everyone sat down on wooden chairs and began to eat the food which mostly contained meat and fruits. All the utensils were made from [wood-style] which once again showed its versatility as a all purpose chakra nature.

"How is it? Is it to your liking?"

"It's so tasty! even though it's just cooked meat and fruits."(Obito)

While Rin and Kakashi nodded in agreement.

"You see, the main reason its so tasty is because of the seasoning I got from the forest, and a little bit of [Yang Release]."

"I didn't know [Yang Release] had that type of application. Can you elaborate?"(Kakashi)

Minato and Rin were curious too bur Obito looked totally confused.

"What is [Yang Release]?"

Hearing his question Kakashi did a facepalm, clearly dissatisfied with his teammate's ignorance.

"This idiot." He muttered.

Before Obito could say anything Minato bagan.

"Its fine Obito if you do not know about [Yang Release] since it's not a very common chakra nature.[Yang Release] is one of the two nature transformations that exist outside of the elemental circle, along with Yin Release. It is based on the physical energy that governs vitality and is created by altering the ratio of spiritual and physical energy in favour of the latter. The Akimichi clan's Multi-Size Technique falls under Yang Release. But I'm curious as to how did you apply it to this food."

"It was a accident really. I was just testing out what would happen, the meat actually increased in quality and the same happened to the cutted plants. This got me quite motivated so I even figured out how to make a self mending/changing clothes. Though it is not very useful during battle it is quite convenient."

They had never heard if such applications to [Yang Release]. This boy was really gives out one shock after another. He didn't even seem to be aware just how hard creating new jutsu is. But they would have never guessed the cheat the boy had when it came to mental processes.

"Now, now, enough talk, the food will get cold soon so dig in."

"Oh boy, I'm stuffed." said Obito as he patted his belly.

"Yes, the food was really nice."

"I agree."

Rin and Kakashi agreed as everyone just sat side by side under the large tree, looking at the white clouds in the blue sky. The atmosphere was a relaxing, making everyone sleepy after a hearty meal.

"It is really these moments that make you doubt that war is happening."(Minato)

"Hm, enjoy these moments, for these moments are your life. They will become the little sunshines that will drive away many shadows in the future."

The words of the boy who seemed too young to utter these words made everyone introspect as to what the boy meant. And little did they know, that it would be these words that would teach them that life is not not all it seems.

After a long silence the boy spoke again.

"I have a request to make from you."

Though a bit surprise by the sudden request Minato enquired.

"What request?"

"I want to learn seals and get the Wood-Style manual." The boy replied honestly.

"I can help you with the seals but I don't think the manual would be that easy to attain.Also, does that mean you are coming with us?"

"Hm, That's fine, I'll figure something out, and yes, I will be tagging along so I'll be in your care. But when do we leave?"

"After a week. In the meantime can you train those three? I believe it would really help them improve if they fight with someone who has attained such high level of swordsmanship along with your ingenious use of your [Wood-Style]." Minato asked sincerely.

"Sure, It'll be fun." The boy smiled.

"Thank you. Isn't that great you th-"

When he looked the the trio's direction they saw that they were fast asleep, shoulder to shoulder. It was a very cute and serene scene which brought a smile to their faces. But the boy knew what awaited them. That this team of three will have to part very soon, causing one to hate the world, while the other to hate himself.

'Well, is that not why I'm here. Don't worry you three, I'll give you a happy ending. and hopefully to many others. Whether they are a saint or a sinner, at the end of the day, everyone prays for salvation, for peace. Who am I to judge who is worthy enough to receive it?

After a Week.

Time: Dawn Location: At the Flower bed.

A whole week has passed since we came here. A lot happened on the first day especially when the boy challenged Minato-sensei. He was definitely gonna lose! I thought, I mean, that's what everyone would believe right? a ten year old kid against a High Jounin (from Obito's pov), the result should be obvious and even though I had never seen someone use two swords at once along with the sudden change in boy's smile(?) he was quickly defeated. But suddenly, he just exploded in to these thousands of petals which surrounded sensei from all sides which looked so amazing. But the best part was when then both clashed. The boy did his super cool move which cut sensei's rasengan in half, In Half! only for it disappear and cutting his sleeve till his neck.

The boy looked quite tired since he had to make a cane and even though Minato sensei was full of cuts he didn't looked as tired. So sensei should be still be stronger , I think. After that, as if the a switch got flipped, he was back to normal saying he was hungry.

The food he makes so so tasty and when I asked why he said something about [Yang Release] and essentially making a new jutsu as if taking about flowers, the guys is insane. With our stomach full we three dozed off and it seems Minato sensei asked the boy to train us for a week, something about new strong opponents.

And so our training began, at first we thought it wouldn't be that hard. Boy we were wrong, everytime it he would train was he mould make 3 shadow clones for Kakashi, me and Rin. He would close his eyes and hen he opens them again they would glow for an instant and then radiated such a terrifying aura if looked directly. It felt as if we were carrying weights on out backs and a blade against our neck.

With this constant pressure he would teach Kakashi swordsmanship, Rin about first aid and chakra control and Finally with me he would either beat me half dead in taijutsu for asked me to dodge his petals which increase every time I got used to the numbers. But the max a could do was 5, those came from any direction and at various speed.

I bet he was half doing this cause he was having fun with my situation. While we trained with the clones he himself would train with Minato sensei. Mostly it was Seal and sparing. Oh, and there was this cute rabbit named Chang'e. She would play with us when we free and even that stiff Kakashi lost against her cuteness. She took the most liking to Rin after the boy himself. She would sit on the boy's head or inside his c.h.e.s.t and even his hood if he had it on.

The boy was really liked by the animals, anywhere he goes and stays for a while, birds and various animals would start to approach him and he could even talk to them to some extent.This boy was really insane! Just what can he not Do! sigh* Well, though the training was hell itself for me. The hot springs are really nice. It was really fun.

And just like that the whole week passed. Everyone was ready to depart.

"Everyone ready?"(Minato)

""Yes,"" "Yup." Squeak*

"Then let's go." Woosh*

Before the followed after Minato, the boy looked at this home and his animal companions one last time. Since he didn't know if he would ever return here and even if he did return, he did not know after how many years it would be. He looked on with a little sadness in this eyes.

But with a smile, he bid he home farewell.

"You have been my refuge from the world and my friends to give me comfort. For everything, this Sage gives you my gratitude." The Sage bows at his home and at the many animals who had come for him. To see him one last time.

Even Chang'e on the boy's shoulder did a solemn bow.

"Farewell, my friends. Farewell, my home. Until next time." Squeak~* Woosh*

And with a burst of petals, they here gone.
