The Path Of A Ninja : Eyes Of Death & Body Of Life

It has been 5 hours since they began their journey.The sun was rising and they were mostly quiet except for a few small talks and the usual bickering of Obito and Kakashi.

"When do we reach the village?" asked the boy.

"Well, it should take a day and a half to reach it." replied Minato as he lead ahead.

Now knowing the answer to his question, he began to wonder if his [MC's Halo] will act up during this time.He really hope not because he was knew that any events in war can have drastic consequences.And because he just wanted to laze around after all the training he did.

But he was shortly brought back from his thoughts by Obito's question to Kakashi and Rin as they jumped from tree to tree.

"Hey guys, why do wars happen?Why can't we just get along?"

It was a simple question with, in a way, a simple answer. Yet, depending on the person it can change and when one thinks about it, one would realise no matter what reasons there may be, it always comes down to us.

Rin answers his question first.

"I think, it is because people just can't seem to forgive each other. Hatred, Anger, Sadness and so many emotions that we have blinds us to the truth the we need to see."

Her answer to his question was a simple one. Wars happened because Humanity just can't get along with each other. Blinded by the same emotions the made us humane.

Then soon Kakashi gave his answer.

"War you see, Obito, Rin, happened because of the greed that people have. It can be either out of necessity or just d.e.s.i.r.e but it happens because they want more land, more resources and more power. In the end, they are just selfish and care only for themselves."

His answer too was a simple one. Wars occured due to Humanity's d.e.s.i.r.e to want more. Yet, again it is what the drives us forth to achievement that led us to ost our way.

Both the boy and Minato were listening to their discussion and both were glad these three, even though different people, with different answers, in the end, really were good kids.

But hearing each other's answers made the three's mood to go down. But it did not last long.

"Come on you three, you don't have to be so down. All what you have just stated is quite true and for you three to have such wisdom is remarkable. You should be happy, you have taken the first step to be a Philosopher." The boy told the three with his usual calming smile.

"But, it's so sad and wrong!" Obito says in frustration.

"Nn, does it have to be this way?" asks Rin in a sad tone.

"Don't be so naive both of you. We are ninjas, all we have have to is complete our missions and follow the rules." Says Kakashi in a stern voice.

Hearing Kakashi's words made Minato feel sad and determined to change his cold way of thinking. He was aware that it is necessary to be a good ninja but it is not right for one so young to have such a mindset,it will only make his suffer in the future. As he was thinking this he saw the boy was looking at him. It was a resuring gaze which strangely made him relieve. Then the boy looked at the three and said.

"You see Obito, the world is a really sad place. Because if you really see, see the people from every walk in life, the good ones, the bad ones, the young, the old, from the eyes of true impartially. You would come to realise that no one is truly at fault yet everyone is guilty."

The unique philosophy of the boy made Minato and rest very surprise. Minato asked the question which was on everyone's mind.

"What do you mean by 'no one is truly at fault yet everyone is guilty'? And can one even see from the eyes of true impartially? "

To this, he just gave a smile, a bit sad , and said.

"One's thoughts and actions are the product of one's environment. The environment consists of the place you live, your parents, yous friends, your villages, your education. But I believe what truly determines a person's thoughts and actions is the presence or absence of Love and the loss of it and how one copes with it. So you see, it is the combination of the world and us that makes us who we are. Can you really blame a person who lost everything he loved turn out the way he did because that is how the world made him? This again causes suffering for another, and the cycle endlessly continues.That is by I said no one truly at fault.

As for why I said everyone is guilty is because in the end, it is them who started this cycle. Everyone is guilty for all the good they have not done.

And finally to answer your final question- one cannot, after all, to err is human, we are flawed. I know what you want to say. I said it because chasing after the impossible to made possible is also human.

chuckle* It is only because of the infinite potential of humans to do both good and bad that we have come so far. After all, even in this sad, sad world people still smile and laugh, find happiness and salvation."

Such words of wisdom would feel very unusual for someone to hear from someone as young. but it for some reason nobody felt it that way, instead it felt completely natural. His eyes conveyed his wisdom and in his smile carries his kindness.

But the atmosphere was broken by his next statement.

"Well, no need to be so anxious, you should enjoy this moment, for this moment is your life and I'm

I've started to get hungry. Let's have some food kay~."

The sleeping rabbit also woke up at this point as she pokes out her head from the boy's robes. Squeak~* Clearly agreeing with the prospect of eating.

At this moment everyone had the same thought.

'They are really similar in nature.'

Since every felt they needed time to digest the words of the boy, everyone agreed.

Minato's curiosity was becoming very curious as to who this boy really is. But be knew it was not the right time and also because he was aware that in such a short amount of time everyone had formed a close bond with the boy. A very unique bond because he sometime was like a little brother, some time an older brother and sometimes even like a grandfather.

As they made their way towards the [Hidden Leaf Village], he was eager to see what kind of future the boy would unfold.
