The Pokemon Emissary Among Worlds

The sun had just risen but Okami was already very busy. He instructed Toki to set-up the portable shed in-front of the entrance. The tables were to be aligned and the chairs were arranged in a circular way.

Toki complied with Okami's requests and relayed everything to his staff. Soon, the foods and drinks were properly set on the tables and waiters were stationed at each side of the table.

Baki and Tomiro were already waiting at their working station, each wearing their best formal clothes.

Okami changed into his favorite black pants and white shirt. As soon as he saw that everything was in its proper place, he waited at the door.

The guests started arriving even before the appointed time.

Hiruzen was together with Homura Mitokado and Koharu Utatane as they passed by the pokemon who were playing in the front yard.

Next to arrive was Team Akira, who approached the pokemon without hesitation. Koga petted the bug pokemon while Nori got all the more excited when she saw new pokemon species. As usual, Pidgey perched on Rinan's head while Rattata tried assaulting him but the bird protected his friend from harm.

A few minutes had passed when Team Asuma came together with Inoichi Yamanaka, Shikaku Nara, and Choza Akimichi.

Team Kurenai followed after as they walked with Hiashi Hyuga, Tsume Inuzuka and Shibi Aburame.

Shibi had a surprised look when he saw many bug pokemon. His curiosity became greater when he remembered what Koga told him.

Iruka Imuno held hands with Reika as they rushed inside the gate.

The last one to arrive was Team 7 as Naruto summoned his Vulpix to let him play with the rest of the pokemon.

Okami was surprised when he saw several clan leaders were present even without his invitation. He suspected that Hiruzen was the one who invited them, considering he had no relationship with them at all. This was a good thing for him so he was all the more motivated to demonstrate what his pokemon could do.

Okami approached Hiruzen and his company. "Hello, everyone. Thank you for coming. It's a big privilege for me to have the Elders here."

Hiruzen nodded and introduced both Homura and Koharu to Okami. "They are part of the Konoha Council, Okami-kun."

"It is nice to see a young ninja like you are already involved in things such as this." Homura gave him a weak pat on his shoulders.

Koharu looked around him. "I'm all the more excited to know what's in store for us today. Hope you can enlighten us, Okami-kun."

Hiashi, Tsume, and Shibi walked towards their direction.

"So you were the one that the Hokage was talking about. Hello, Okami-kun," Hiashi commented as he gave his greetings. "I'm Hiashi Hyuga, leader of the Hyuga clan."

"A man should be brave and strong, indeed," Tsume added. "Kiba mentioned you."

Shibi was silent the entire time.

Okami laughed as he bowed to each one of them. "Thank you for choosing this event to spend your valuable time. This makes me all the more motivated."

"Then show us how motivated you can be, Okami-kun."

Okami turned around and saw Inoichi, Shikaku, and Choza approaching his direction. "Hello, everyone."

"Hello, Okami-kun. Shikachu's doing great. Because of the pokemon, I was able to create new Jutsus," Shikaku said as he summoned his Drowzee. As soon as Drowzee appeared, the pokemon dashed forward and hugged Shikaku's waist. "Well, except this. Too troublesome."

Everyone was curious about Drowzee. Since Shikaku saw their inquisitive gazes, he explained how he got the pokemon and what kind of pokemon Drowzee was.

"I'm all the more excited to become a Pokemon trainer. I've been carrying this with me." Choza took out the pokeball from his inner pocket. He shifted his attention on Okami and asked, "I can become one today, right?"

"Yes. Later, Choza-san."

Hiruzen clapped his hands. "Then I'm all the more excited to witness the birth of a Pokemon trainer."

Okami did not want to act lowkey today. This was the perfect opportunity for him to convince them that the pokemon were worth nurturing. He could not find another opportunity to show the clan leaders and the Elders altogether without wasting more time, energy, and resources.

"I hope I can meet your expectations. Please enjoy the banquet. I still have to meet the rest." Okami left them and proceeded to the place where the Genins and their Jounin-sensei were gathered together.

"Naruto! I'm glad that you're here," Okami greeted when he arrived at Team 7's location. "I'm really glad that you were able to attend."

"Hah! Of course, I will come. I've got to support my best friend, right?" Naruto gave him a high-five. "Hurry up. I want to eat."

"Now, now, Naruto. Don't make things hard for your friend. Do you have any idea of how busy it is to prepare such a big event like this?" Kakashi defended Okami as he gave him a thumbs-up. "Nice place, by the way."

Okami smiled. "Thank you, Kakashi-sensei. And Sakura-chan, Sasuke-kun, glad that you can come as well."

Sasuke turned his head without answering.

"He's just not feeling well, Okami-kun. I hope you won't mind," Sakura explained on behalf of Sasuke like he was her husband.

"Ugh! He's just an ungrateful duck-head!" Naruto refuted her reason.

"Dead last!" Sasuke snorted.

Kakashi moved between them. "Now, now. Don't start arguing again, okay? You don't want to create a scene during the event, right?"

"Hmph!"

"Fine!" Naruto ignored Sasuke this time and snapped his finger. "Hey, Okami. I was able to do it."

Okami remembered what happened yesterday. "You better show us later."

Team Asuma and Team Kurenai were moving towards Team 7's location. As soon as they arrived, they greeted Okami.

"I've heard a lot about you, courtesy of Kakashi." Asuma gestured his team members to come forward. "I believe you have met them already."

"What a drag..." Shikamaru grumbled as he rested his hands on his back head. "I thought we are going to eat at Akimichi Restaurant. I did not know that we are going to meet a lot of people this early morning."

Choji just shrugged his shoulders while carrying with him a plate filled with sushi and skewered barbecues.

"Oh, shut it, Shikamaru. Anyway, it's nice to meet you, Okami-kun." Ino gave her sweetest smile.

"It's nice to meet you as well, Ino-chan."

Okami waved his hands towards Team Kurenai. Kurenai stood beside Asuma. "It's been a great p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e to see such an outstanding ninja like you, Okami-kun."

"Hello...Hello-lo, Okami-kun." Hinata looked down while fiddling with her thumbs.

Kiba laughed boisterously as he hugged Akamaru on his c.h.e.s.t. "Can I let him play with the pokemon?"

Okami nodded. "Go on."

Kiba set Akamaru on the ground and Akamaru barked loudly as it ran towards the pokemon.

Shino was as silent as his dad, Shibi.

Okami was good in dispersing any weird and awkward atmosphere. Because of this, everyone soon became comfortable and chatted happily. He looked at his watch and said, "Please excuse me, everyone. I will have to start the event if we don't want to end this late."

Okami walked to where Iruka and Reika were and gave them his greetings. "Hey, thank you for coming here, lovebirds."

Reika looked down as she fiddled with her hair while Iruka's face reddened like a beet.

"What do you know about a.d.u.l.t matters, brat?!" Iruka sounded angry but his face says otherwise.

"Heh! I know a lot of things about a.d.u.l.t matters. I even know that when a man and a woman hold hands, they intend to make babies. Will you create one after this?"

Iruka's mouth was gaped open. "You! You! Who told you such things?!"

Okami looked at his watch. "Later, Iruka-san. Just tell me when you are getting married. You look good together. And remind me when you want to make a baby, I'll give you a room inside."

Okami escaped as fast as he could to avoid Iruka's beratings. He giggled every time he recalled their reactions. It was funny to make fun of this shy couple. He was about to reach the location when someone called him.

"Okami-kun!" Akira shouted as he gave him a thumbs-up. "Talk to you, later."

Okami grinned and nodded as he went to the front of the main door, grabbed a chair, and climbed up to where everyone could see him. He cleared his throat and exclaimed, "Hello, everyone! Welcome to the Pokemon Center. There are lots of foods so don't hesitate to get one if you're hungry. I don't know how to get this started but let me show you what is inside the Pokemon Shop. Please follow me."

Despite being young, everyone could see the confidence that oozed from Okami's personality. Everyone had their opinion of him but there is one thing that was a common denominator inside their heads - the boy's authority. It was like how a clan leader would show what his clan could do. They were all the more eager to find out where he was getting his confidence from.

Everyone gave collective gasps as soon as they entered the shop. It was like going to a new world with new technology. The PC, the healing station, and even the sophisticated details that adorned the walls, ceilings and floors were seen by them.

Okami ushered them towards the center and extended his hands at the Healing Station. "This is the Healing Station, where one can heal either their pokemon or any hurt ninja. Meet Baki, the Pokemon Center Receptionist. Even though he is a guy, he still has the charm to attract potential patients."

Baki laughed as he waved his hands. "Hello, Hokage-sama. Hello, everyone. Please feel free to use our services when you feel like your body or your pokemon is hurt. Oh, I see that we have a nurse here. Even then, we are proud to say that our services are not lacking when it comes to medical treatment."

Reika smiled. "Hello, Baki-san. I'm interested in how you are treating the injuries of your patients. Can you enlighten us?"

Hiruzen waited for his answer with anticipation. "Go on, Baki-san. Do you need some volunteers? I could hurt someone for you."

Everyone laughed when they heard their Hokage uttered a joke.

Okami was the one who answered this time. "Yes, we can, Hokage-sama. But every transaction that is done here requires money, so any demonstration that needs physical resources must be paid. Please understand that my resources are limited and I can't afford to have free samples."

Hiruzen gave a knowing smile. "Where do I have to pay and how much is it?"

"It's free if you are going to use the Healing machine, which is intended for pokemon use only. If the patient is a person, then the only services we offer are potions, Pokemon power, and injections. All of them are available via PokeMart."

Okami led them to the counter where Tomiro was posted. "This is the PokeMart. Tomiro-san, please greet everyone."

"Yes, boss!" Tomiro answered cheerfully. "Hello, everyone. Welcome to the PokeMart. Everything that we sell here can only be found in this shop. As of now, there are only four things that we are selling. Pokeballs, potions, antidotes, and paralyzed heals.

Every Pokemon trainer will have a starter pokemon. But there will come a time when he will decide to have another one. You can only do this by catching one in the wild through Pokeballs.

Potions can heal any bleeding damages and restore their wounds to normal. The more potions you used, the better the effect will be. Antidotes can neutralize any type of poisons. Paralyzed heals can cure electrical or any form of physical shocks."

The shop was filled with voices as soon as they heard Tomiro's explanation.

Okami expected that this would happen, so he grabbed their attention by speaking out loud. "Of course, our claims would be useless unless it is proven. So please help me prove my claims by buying them. If you think that they are not effective, then you will get a full refund. As for the prices, you can see them through the display."

Akira was the first one to raise his hands. "I'll buy two of each kind."

"Thank you, Akira-san." Okami gave him a bow as he instructed Tomiro to give his orders. "I intended to make a raffle but since you are my first customer, then I'll just let you have the opportunity to become a Pokemon trainer or give up your chance to another person."

Akira smiled and looked at Koga. "Well, I'll give my slot to him. He wanted a bug pokemon of his own."
