The Pokemon Emissary Among Worlds

Okami chuckled and noticed that several people were approaching him to give their congratulations. Even Hiruzen complimented his perfectly executed Jutsu. Some people showed their interest to become a Pokemon trainer but Okami diverted them all to Hiruzen.

Inoichi, Shikaku, and Choza approached Okami when the guests were done talking with him.

"Okami-kun, that was a really good fight," Inoichi said as he fed some bugs to Zubat. "Anyway, did you just use Kage Bunshin no Jutsu and let them have their own pokemon to absorb? I recognized the Jutsu they've used a while ago."

Okami nodded. "Luckily my chakra can support the technique or else I'll be screwed over."

Shikaku remembered another one who also had overwhelming Chakra. "You and Naruto, both of you have great chakra reserves. You should learn the Tajuu Kage Bunshin no Jutsu but it's greatly restricted because it is harmful once it is carelessly executed. But there will be no dangers concerning you."

"I agree. Anyway, I'm really happy with Choju," Choza added and hesitated for a bit before finally talking. "Uh, do you still have any Zubat, Mr. Mime and Drowzee?"

"Soon, Choza-san. Why?" Okami asked.

Shikaku was the one who answered this time. "The truth is we are planning to let the members of the clan have their pokemon just like ours."

Okami smiled. "That's pretty understandable. In a way, you can also make it into a legacy for future members of your clan."

Inoichi was impressed with Okami's intelligence. It was as if he was talking to a person of the same age as him. "That's the idea. Especially with our children, we wanted to give them the same pokemon that we have."

"But Ino...with the way she shrieked after seeing Zubat back at the Akimichi's Restaurant...is she really okay with that?"

Inoichi frowned. "I'll deal with that when the time comes. Thank you for hearing our concerns, Okami-kun."

Okami bowed towards them. "It's also thanks to you that I can develop as well. Anyway, I've heard from the Hokage that you suggested creating Pokemon Intelligence Division. Is this plan still ongoing?"

Shikaku's eyes lit up when he heard Okami. "Yes! I wish to have a division that focuses on studying Pokemon Jutsu to help ninjas develop their battle efficiency. I've already started my studies and Brother Inoichi recently followed after."

"That's great! When will it start?" Okami asked.

"It's still being studied by the Konoha Council. So far, so good." Inoichi took out a piece of paper from his pocket and gave it to Okami. "Here. These are some of the results we have learned. I hope that you can also give us the result of your studies."

"I will visit your office, Inoichi-san."

"When?"

"On Thursday."

Inoichi nodded. "I'm not busy on Thursday. So are we still be doing our demonstration? What you did earlier was sufficient to make an impact."

Choza laughed. "Yeah. And I've heard something that might put you in danger."

Shikaku and Inoichi gave their friend a puzzled look. Choza chuckled as he whispered, "Tsume wants to marry off an Inuzuka to you."

Okami knew that Inuzuka members were known to be aggressive and wild. Even Kiba's father was reportedly a scaredy-cat when it came to Tsume and was portrayed in the Anime as someone who was not always in the house because of his fear of his wife.

"Eh! That's...bad! Anyone but an Inuzuka!" Okami never realized that another problem would pop out from this event. "Anyway, you don't have to do the demonstration, Inoichi-san. Besides, it is getting a bit late."

"I understand. Go on and continue with what you are planning to do." Inoichi urged Okami to leave them as they walked towards the Hokage.

Okami then continued giving everyone his thanks. Soon, all of the guests left the shop and the only people left were Team 7, Tomiro, Baki, and the workers in the Sushi shop.

"I never knew you were strong, Boss!" Tomiro was deeply impressed with Okami's strength. Despite being young, he knew that everyone was flabbergasted about his Boss based upon the reactions he saw from them. "Can you teach me how to become strong like you?"

"You've picked well, Tomiro-san." Okami then explained what Kangaskhan could do and even showed him the Pokedex entry in the Pokemon App. "See that 'Scrappy' ability? Every time you see a ghost, you can absorb Kangaskhan and punch it to death."

"Indeed. Well, when can I learn from you, Boss?"

Okami paused for a bit before replying. "How about this? I still have to compile every note I have and give you a copy of it. You can ask me anything you do not understand so I can show you how things are done. It saves much time and I trust that you can also learn that way pretty fast."

Tomiro loved Okami's arrangements and nodded. "That's good. Just give it to me when you're done, Boss."

"Remember to feed your pokemon with the food she actually likes. If you do that, you can level it up and learn new skills in the process. And always have a conversation with her just like how you talk to a human being. Since she is now a part of you, Kangaskhan can actually feel what you are feeling."

Tomiro smiled. "Will do, Boss. I'll better restock the shop now. Only five potions, antidotes, and paralyze heals were left. Four pokeballs were sold after the gifts and raffles were given because Naruto bought the other one."

"Go ahead, Tomiro-san."

"Okay." Tomiro went inside the shop to restock the goods.

Okami realized that there were already seven Pokemon Trainers in existence. It might seem low for a number but considering that the three were clan leaders and Naruto was the main protagonist of this world, the influence they carried could not be laughed at. He thought of all the possibilities that could happen because the story somehow deviated from the original one. He needed to find out if the story would still proceed with the way it should go, for the most part of it.

Toki and his staff were done packing up all the things they used for the event and bade him goodbye.

Soon, only the pokemon were left in the front yard as they busily played with each other.

Okami walked to where Team 7 was and gave them some sweets. He then shifted his attention to Sasuke and asked, "Did you ask Kakashi-sensei about it?"

Sasuke nodded. "He said it's okay. Next week, right?

"Yup. Better come in the morning so I can teach you more about Pokemon Jutsu as well." Okami popped another sweet into his mouth and started chewing.

"Hey! Kakashi-sensei, why don't we join them that day as well? We can train and be with them at the same time!" Naruto suggested while giving Kakashi a pleading look.

Sakura clapped his hands. "I agree with Naruto, Sensei. Anyway, it's boring with just Naruto around."

"Eh! How can I be boring? Look, Sakura, I'm much better than that duck-head."

"You need another punch on your face."

Kakashi sighed. "Now, now. Stop it, okay. We'll do what Naruto said and give Sasuke some moral support when he becomes a Pokemon trainer. I'm kind of interested in it as well. Who knows, we can have joint training together."

"Yay! That's cool of you, Kakashi-sensei! Even though you're always late but you are still dependable when it comes to sound decision-making." Naruto made a heroic pose as he laughed loudly, which annoyed the hell out of Sakura.

Sasuke shook his head when he saw his two teammates. He faced Okami and asked, "Now, what Pokemon can you recommend for me?"

Okami rubbed his chin. "Well, what do you want to be in the future? Describe your preferred fighting style."

"Fast and strong. I really want to be so fast that no one can compare with me when it comes to speed," Sasuke answered without hesitation.

"Hmm. I suggest you have Abra as your starter pokemon."

"Explain."

Kakashi and the rest stopped whatever they were doing and listened to their conversation.

Okami teleported within the area randomly. "This is Abra's signature skill - teleport. With this, no speed can match you unless they are able to predict where you will go. Another good thing about it is you can also appear anywhere you previously visited at the expense of a huge amount of chakra."

"What else can Abra do?" Sasuke asked further.

Okami moved backward and turned his attention towards Kakashi and asked, "Wanna be a part of my demonstration?"

Kakashi nodded. "Sure, Okami."

"Then please stay close together so I can cast it immediately."

Kakashi complied with his request and soon, everyone was standing beside each other.

Okami did random hand signals as he acc.u.mulated chakra on his eyes and said, "Pokemon Jutsu: Disable."

Kakashi noticed that his tenketsu points were blocked and he could not move as well. Beads of sweat covered his back when he realized how dangerous his situation was if Okami had bad intentions against them.

"Okami-kun?! What did you do? I can't move!" Sakura shouted as her voice trembled in fear. "Please release the Jutsu in an instant!"

"Sure," Okami casually replied as he undid the Jutsu just like how a Genjutsu was being undone by disrupting their chakra flow with his own chakra.

Sasuke was alarmed when he felt helpless at that time. He could not move and he was like a pig that was waiting for the butcher to be gutted alive. His decision became firmer and faced Okami. "Then I choose Abra as my starter Pokemon."

"A very wise choice." Okami ushered them to Abra's location. They arrived at the place where the two Abras were sleeping. "Here we are."

Sasuke looked at how weak the pokemon seem to be and snorted. "Are you sure this is the exact pokemon you are referring to?"

Okami nodded. "Don't worry. They may look weak right now but as soon as they evolve, they get stronger. Look at those worm-like bugs. Their evolved forms are Butterfree and Beedrill, the one you see flying up together with the birds. One is very poisonous while the other one loves Mental and Wind Jutsu."

"Good! I'll come back next week."

Naruto lifted the pokeball up for everyone to see and exclaimed, "I still need to catch my second pokemon!"

Okami remembered that Naruto bought a pokeball a while ago. "Sure, but you can only catch a wild one. These duplicated pokemon are technically mine unless I released it in the wilderness. That's the only time you can catch your own pokemon using pokeball."

"Then where can I catch them?"

"The forest behind the Pokemon Center. But it's getting dark and it's not advisable to encounter them while you are not prepared. Remember, wild pokemon are true to their names. They are untamed and acts on their own. Each one of them has their own temperament, so expect that anything can happen. Some are wild and dangerous while others are basically friendly like Happiny. But they're still within my territory so they will be less aggressive towards a human."

Kakashi recalled the might of Zapdos and thought that an untamed pokemon could be pretty dangerous. "How do you use a pokeball to catch a pokemon?"

"By weakening them first with your Jutsu or with your Pokemon's help, your call. As long as you see that it's very weak, you then have to fuse your chakra into the pokeball and throw it against the target. If the pokeball shook for the third time, then the catch was a success. If not, then the pokemon is released and the pokeball gets destroyed. So better pray that your first throw is a success."
