The Pokemon Emissary Among Worlds

Okami stood in a fighting stance as he observed his opponent. He memorized the features of the soil and the surroundings as he strategized his way to defeat Sasuke.

As soon as he heard Hiruzen signaled the start of the battle, he saw Sasuke dashing towards him. Okami did not waste his time and teleported to where Sasuke was standing a while ago and did a hand seal as he shouted, "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!"

Five copies of Okami appeared beside the real one. Okami assigned 1st Okami to absorb Chansey and the 2nd Okami to have Jigglypuff. They were needed for support since their abilities were Healer and Friend Guard. 3rd Okami and 4th Okami had Pidgeotto and Butterfree to cast Gust to prevent Sasuke from approaching the support. 5th Okami had Rattata for spamming Quick Attacks. This time he had chosen Vulpix and Beedrill to accompany Kadabra in 'Absorb' mode to maximize his speed attribute.

4th Okami was standing behind 1st and 2nd Okami while 3rd Okami was in front of them. 5th Okami ran towards the right area while the real Okami just walked leisurely towards Sasuke.

When Sasuke saw the clones, he snorted and observed where the real one was. His expression changed when he noticed the sound of their footsteps were the same. He activated his Sharingan and became fl.u.s.tered when he found out the truth. "They're not clones!"

Sasuke dashed forward and kicked 3rd Okami when he saw gushes of wind emerging from the copy's mouth, hitting him as his body was flung away. He somersaulted and landed on his feet, this time opting to circle around when 5th Okami attacked him with a Quick attack, successfully hitting him on the c.h.e.s.t.

"Argh!" Sasuke m.o.a.n.e.d in pain as he fell on the ground. He was about to stand up when 5th Okami hit him with a speedy punch, this time on his right leg.

Sasuke wobbled as he forced himself to stand up. He did not care for Hiruzen's warning and did the Jutsu that he learned.

Okami took pity on Sasuke since he knew that his Jutsu was not yet developed. Even though he had not trained his reflex but his Pokemon gave him the attributes he needed to be physically fit. Thanks to Kurama, his chakra reserve was huge and his stamina was greatly enhanced. He was about to end the fight when he saw Sasuke performing hand seals. Sasuke was not yet very fast, so he can clearly see the different hand seals he performed. "Snake, Ram, Monkey, Boar, Horse, Tiger...aah, the classic Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique."

True enough, after Sasuke did the hand seals, he shouted, "Katon: Gokakyu no Jutsu!"

Sasuke had an evil glint in his eyes as the flames flowed through his mouth, forming a big orb of fire before him. He then targeted the closest one among the target, which happened to be the real Okami.

Kakashi clenched his fist when he saw Sasuke fully showing the capability of an Uchiha. "Okami-kun! He's in danger!"

"Let me go! Grr! That f.u.c.k.i.n.g Sasuke! If he hurt my friend, I'm gonna show him!" Naruto growled as he tried forcing his way to the battlefield but was blocked by Kakashi.

Sakura had a concerned look on her face. "Will they be okay? Please, somebody, stop them!"

Inoichi, Shikaku, and Choza were all curious about the result of this battle. They wanted to help but this was a spar. Nobody could stop this unless the referee told them so.

Hiashi activated his Dojutsu and observed Okami's chakra.

Tsume was grinning because of the exciting fight while Akamaru was shivering and hid inside Kiba's jacket.

"Huh?! Mom, Akamaru's acting strange," Kiba commented.

Tsume took a glance at the puppy and frowned. She wondered who between the two frightened the dog.

Hiruzen was about to stop the fight when he saw how calm Okami was. "Be ready, everyone. Don't stop them yet but watch out for my signal."

Okami had a perplexed look when he saw the Jutsu. He remembered that abilities will affect each other when pokemon were absorbed simultaneously. But due to constant training, he found out that he could pick which one to activate as a stand-alone at the expense of chakra. Since he had no problems with his chakra reserve, then doing so was an easy thing for him. He did a random hand signal as he assigned Vulpix's Flash Fire as a stand-alone ability and ran towards the zooming fireball.

"Pokemon Jutsu: Flash Fire!"

Sasuke was wide-eyed when he saw Okami dashing towards the orb of fire. He was about to curse when he realized the intent of his opponent. "Avoid it! You can't stop it that way!"

Okami smiled and gave him a thumbs-up. He then punched the fireball and a deafening Sound blast echoed through.

Everyone did not expect that the fight between genins could cause this kind of power.

Hiruzen was about to instruct the ANBUs to create some barriers when he saw Mr. Mime running around as he waved his hands.

The energy blast that resulted from the clash did not reach them. They were all protected from the barriers erected by Mr. Mime.

"Good job, Choju!" Choza complimented his pokemon and gave him a pat on his head.

"Very good!" Inoichi looked surprised because he never expected that the pokemon's barriers were strong enough to hold against the blast.

Shikaku grinned. "Looks like our formation needs some restructuring."

Everyone waited in anticipation, wondering if Okami was alright.

"OKAMI!" Naruto bellowed as his rage became stronger when he noticed the huge clouds of smoke covering the area where Okami was.

Hiashi looked at the fox kid and said, "Don't worry. Your friend is okay."

Everyone fixed their gaze on the battlefield as they waited for the clouds of smoke to dissipate.

"HOW?! HOW IN THE WORLD DID YOU DO THAT?!" Sasuke pointed his fingers at the unharmed Okami who was busily blowing his fingers.

Okami smiled. "Did I not tell you that I have a pokemon that can render every Fire Jutsu useless?"

Sasuke knelt on the ground as his face looked dejected. "But?! Why?!"

"As I told you, pokemon can make you stronger as well, Sasuke-kun. Since you love using Fire Release, then let me show you what a Pokemon Fire Release is."

Okami did several random hand signals as he concentrated his chakra on his mouth and said, "Pokemon Jutsu: Ember!"

Spouts of flame appeared through Okami's mouth and guided the flame to form into an orb as well. Even though it was smaller than that of Sasuke's but the power was several times stronger because of Kurama's malevolent chakra. Instead of yellow-red, the flame's color was bluish white.

Hiruzen felt the heat that was emitted from the technique and was alarmed by the intensity of the flame. But what surprised him the most was the feeling he felt when Okami did the Jutsu. It was like facing against another Kage powerhouse.

Hiashi activated his Dojutsu the entire time and unconsciously stepped backward when he saw Okami's chakra. "A monster!"

Shikaku looked at Inoichi as he gave him a nod. "My guess was right."

Inoichi smirked. "Looks like Konoha's going to have another powerhouse."

Tsume was all the more excited when she knew that it was Okami that scared Akamaru. "I'll definitely let an Inuzuka marry you, kid!"

Rinan did not realize that his body was trembling in fear while he observed the fight with Byakugan activated. "So you are this strong, Okami!"

Even Koga stopped pampering his Weedle and stared at Okami seriously.

Ino felt that it was her fault that they were fighting each other. "Please stop fighting...I'm flattered that your fighting for me..but please don't hurt each other."

Sakura snorted. "Stop daydreaming, Ino-pig!"

"Forehead girl!"

The two girls continued insulting each other.

Hinata was gasping as she felt her breathing became ragged when she saw Okami's powers through her Dojutsu. "Too strong..."

Meanwhile, Okami teleported before Sasuke who was not moving as he stared at the orb of fire.

"So are you going to become a Pokemon Trainer, Sasuke-kun?" Okami asked while facing the Chakra-fused ember zooming towards them.

Sasuke gritted his teeth. "Can I become strong like you when I have my pokemon?"

"It depends on your ability. What the pokemon can offer you are ways to increase your current power and help you become a great shinobi," Okami explained as he prepared himself for the coming clash. "So, I ask you again. Do you want to become a Pokemon Trainer?"

"Yes! Show me the way to get the strength I need to have my revenge!"

Okami knew what Sasuke was talking about but acted like he did not. When he realized that Sasuke did not bother explaining why he wanted revenge, he simply shrugged his shoulders. He did random hand seals again and said, "Pokemon Jutsu: Flash Fire!"

This time, Okami chose to strut his way towards the ember and hugged the flame like he was embracing his lover. As expected, the flames did nothing to Okami.

When everything was done, Okami simply looked at Hiruzen and asked, "Did I win the spar, Hokage-sama?"

Hiruzen smiled and nodded. "The winner of the battle is Okami Okaya!"

"It wasn't much!" Okami answered.

Naruto was the first one to clap as he cheered loudly for his friend. Tomiro was deeply impressed by his boss' powers and gave his heartfelt cheer to support him. Even Happiny was waving her hands on Baki's arms while they shouted Okami's name.

Everyone clapped their hands to show respect for the two young Genins who showcased their great potentials.

Okami offered his hand to help Sasuke stand up. Sasuke grumbled at first but accepted his hand in the end and gathered his strength to stand up.

Okami did a hand seal and shouted, "Summon: Chansey!"

Chansey appeared before Okami and the white egg on her pouch glowed and became a wisp of light, which then floated towards Sasuke.

Sasuke felt the tingling sensations on his body and noticed that his strength was back. When he inspected the wounds, he saw that it was totally gone, even the traces of it could not be seen. He clenched his fists and asked, "When can I become a Pokemon Trainer?"

"Next week. Monday. You better tell Kakashi-sensei about your plan. I'll also inform the Hokage that you wished to become a Pokemon trainer as well."

Sasuke nodded. "What pokemon can you recommend for me?"

"We'll talk about it after this event."

Sasuke snorted and went towards Kakashi.

Okami was about to leave when he saw Naruto rushing towards him and tackled him.

"Oof!" Okami g.r.o.a.n.e.d in pain as he rubbed his stomach to ease the pain.

Naruto laughed as he helped Okami stand up. "Hah! You're very strong, Okami! And the Jutsu with your Kage Bunshin no Jutsu, I recognized that your copies were doing Pokemon Jutsu in 'Absorb' mode. Teach me that!"

"Well, you have to have another pokemon to do that."

"Then I'll buy pokeball. Let me buy one, my savings can definitely afford to."

"Sure. Just ask Tomiro-san about it."

Naruto ran away and looked for Tomiro, leaving Okami alone.

Okami chuckled and noticed that several people were approaching him to give their congratulations. Even Hiruzen complimented his perfectly executed Jutsu. Some people showed their interest to become a Pokemon trainer but Okami diverted them all to Hiruzen.
