The Pokemon Emissary Among Worlds

"WHAT?!" Okami knew that Phase 1 was not just a simple update. "Tell me everything you know, old Baki!"

Baki recounted every single thing Toki said to him a while ago. "That's the gist of it, Boss. Berserk pokemon seem to appear from the lights and start hurting people."

"Have he seen any casualties?"

Baki shook his head. "Toki said he is not sure. He was just thinking of getting away from those wild Pokemon."

Okami had an inkling suspicion that this was not supposed to happen because the update never told him that the new pokemon were berserk. "Old Baki, you need to be inside the Pokemon center. It is safer here."

"I'd love to do that but there are so many berserk pokemon outside."

"Where is your house located?"

"It's the house with a red rooftop just a few blocks away from the Sushi shop. You can't miss it if you walk straight ahead towards the playground."

Okami nodded. "Then make sure that you stay where you are. Wait for me, okay?"

"Sure, Boss. Please, be careful on your way here."

"Okay. Be careful!"

Baki was about to end the call when he felt some presence staring behind him. He turned around and saw an Abra with its eyes glowing blood red. "Boss! An Abra is here!"

Okami knew that he had to hurry up and teleported right away at the entrance of the Sushi shop. "Remember to use Happiny in 'Absorb' mode. What are the skills you have right now?"

"Pound, Copycat, Refresh, and Sweet Kiss."

"Good! Listen to my plan," Okami instructed as he rushed straight ahead towards the playground.

Baki wondered if what Okami said was effective or not. This was a matter of life and death and he had to make sure that his choice was right. Since he knew that the boy was an expert in Pokemon Jutsu, he trusted his boss.

"Happiny, I'm going to use you in 'Absorb' mode, okay? I promise you we will get this out alive," Baki said as he patted Happiny's head.

Happiny hugged him and nodded her head.

Baki smiled and absorbed him the way he learned it from Okami yesterday. When he was done, he gestured Toki to approach him as he picked up a big bottle. "Toki, come over here!"

Toki's knees were trembling but he forced himself to walk towards his father. When he reached his dad, he asked, "What are we going to do, Dad?"

"Don't worry, I will keep you safe, okay," Baki reassured Toki as he patted his son's shoulder. "Remember, your father is a Pokemon trainer. I can still protect ourselves from danger."

Abra noticed what they were doing and its glowing eyes were fixated on them.

Baki threw the bottle against Abra, who teleported at the right corner beside Toki's room. As soon as he saw what the pokemon did, he used the Copycat skill to copy 'Teleport' and imagined the Pokemon center as hard as he could and shouted, "Teleport!"

The skill did nothing even though he felt he became weaker due to chakra consumption. Baki remembered what Okami told him and hurled the second object he grabbed beside him.

Abra vanished and reappeared at the table.

Baki used Copycat again and shouted, "Teleport!"

At once, Baki saw that his surroundings distorted and realized that they finally appeared right inside the Pokemon Center. He felt that his stomach was churning and started puking his guts out as soon as his feet reached the floor.

After a few minutes, Baki felt that the dizziness was bearable enough and stood up. He looked at the mess they created on the floor. "I've got some cleaning to do."

Baki believed that they were safe and left his son on his own as he took a seat and dialed Okami's number.

"You're both inside the Pokemon Center right now, old Baki?" Okami asked Baki through the XTransceiver as he teleported to one of the rooftops and avoided the two Rattata's joint attacks.

Baki nodded. "Please save my daughter!"

"No worries. I am on my way to your house."

"Remember that she's at the separate cabin just beside our main house," Baki reiterated and frowned. "And take care, Okami!"

Okami smiled when he heard Baki calling him just by his name. "Better rest properly and take care of Toki. If there is anyone outside the shop, inform me before you let them enter the shop. Make sure to call Tomiro as well and know his current situation, old Baki."

"Sure."

Okami ended the call and scanned his surroundings when he saw the red rooftop to his right. He teleported right there and then and looked down. True enough, the cabin was surrounded by seven Pidgeys, which kept on attacking the walls through their beaks.

"Hey, you birdbrain. Come here!" Okami shouted to catch their attention. The Pidgeys looked around and saw him waving his hands up in the air. They chirped out loudly and flew towards the rooftop where Okami was.

Okami teleported to the house opposite where he was and repeated the same tactic. At once, the Pidgeys followed him and even other pokemon were attracted by the noise and rushed towards him. He repeated the process until he was very far away from Baki's house and teleported back to the cabin where Anita was.

"Dumb pokemon!" Okami snorted as he appeared right at the door and knocked on it. "Anita-chan! It's me, Okami! If you hear me, hurry up and open the door so I can take you to your Dad!"

The window was slightly opened and Okami saw a brown-haired girl peeked through the small slit.

"Okami-kun?! What are you doing here?!"

"Hurry up and let me in! It's getting dangerous outside!"

"Okay! Wait a minute."

The door creaked and Anita looked behind Okami, making sure that the coast was clear. "Come inside!"

"No time!" Okami grabbed her hands and teleported right away, appearing right beside the infirmary beds inside the Pokemon Center. He felt bad when he saw Anita vomiting her dinner out her stomach.

"Anita!" Baki and Toki shouted in unison as they both ran towards the girl.

"Sorry to interrupt your reunion but we still have something to do, old Baki." Okami petted Happiny who was comforting Anita on the floor.

Baki understood what Okami meant. "I've called Tomiro but he is not receiving the call. I think something is keeping him very busy right now."

"I bet," Okami remarked. He dialed Tomiro's number and waited for him to answer the call. "He is not answering!"

"I can tell you where his house is. It's located two blocks west of the playground," Baki explained as he gave some sweets to Okami. "You can recognize the house by its green fences."

Okami nodded. "You take charge in this place while I'm not around, old Baki. I want to see if Tomiro is fine or not."

"Then take care, Boss."

Okami ate the sweets before teleporting at the playground. The first thing he noticed when he appeared right at the center of the playground was the few dead bodies of civilians. He felt conflicted and nauseous because it was his first time to see mutilated, dead bodies in his entire life. Ignoring the fact that he was this inexperienced, he strengthened his guts and walked west of the playground until he reached a house surrounded by green fences.

"This must be it!"

Okami was about to knock on the door when a sudden blast destroyed one of the walls. A cloud of sand gathered due to the collision. He waited for it to dissipate before checking out the cause of the force.

When the cloud dissipated, Okami witnessed a headless Rattata sprawled on the ground. He felt his stomach churned but he slapped himself to stay calm and it worked. Once the uncomfortable feeling was gone, he slowly approached the corpse.

"Such brutal strength!" Okami saw the wounds and guessed that the pokemon was killed by severe physical force alone. He looked through the big hole at the wall and saw Tomiro who was kneeling.

"Tomiro-Oniisan!" Okami shouted as he entered the house and heard Tomiro crying softly. When he saw Tomiro's mom gasping for her last breath, he summoned Chansey right away.

At once, Chansey used Soft-Boiled and the egg on her pouch glowed. It transformed into a white light and covered his mom's whole body. Tomiro just realized that Okami was behind him and Chansey was giving his mom some medical treatment.

"Boss!" Tomiro looked at Okami with a pleading look. "Please heal my mom!"

Okami noticed that Soft-Boiled was not enough and summoned the Pokemon App. "Hurry up and give me 1,000 Ryo. I need it to redeem some potions."

Tomiro understood what Okami wanted to do and carefully set his mom's body on the floor and dashed to his room. When he came out, he was carrying several paper bills and gave it to Okami.

Okami accepted the bill and redeemed several potions from the PokeMart tab. He then gave some of the potions to Tomiro.

"Spread the liquid all over her wounds. We need to make sure that she is revitalized before we can teleport her back to the Pokemon Center. Then let her drink the potion as soon as she wakes up."

Tomiro nodded and followed Okami's instructions. At once, her wounds closed up and her complexion became healthy once again.

"I'll teleport her back to the Pokemon Center. I'll return once I'm done. Be safe." Okami unsummoned Chansey and vanished together with Tomiro's mom.

Once Okami appeared inside the Pokemon center, he instructed Baki to lay her on one of the infirmary beds and teleported back to Tomiro's house.

Okami approached Tomiro and asked, "Where's your father?"

Tomiro shook his head. "I don't know. Mom said that he was on his way to Hina's house to get the knife she borrowed from us. I'm really worried about him."

"Don't worry. I saw several ninjas helping some civilians along the way. Maybe your dad has been saved," Okami comforted him even though he knew that the other truth was also possible. "It's the best time to be strong for your Mom, Tomiro-Oniisan."

"You're right."

Okami grabbed his arms and said, "Teleport!"

"Why are there so many Rattatas and Pidgeys?!" Naruto hid behind the wall when he saw some of the pokemon were standing by the road. "How can I escape?"

Naruto thought of something and did a hand seal while saying, "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu."

There were more than fifty copies that appeared around Naruto and instructed every copy to attract their attention and escape in different directions.

At once, the pokemon saw Naruto's copies running all over the area and they rushed over to capture their potential prey. Soon, the road was clear and Naruto came out of his hiding place.

Naruto summoned Vulpix and absorbed him right away. "I need to find my best friend. He might be in danger!"

He was about to go to the Pokemon Center when he saw Okami appearing right at the entrance of his house.

Without a word, Okami grabbed him and they teleported right back to the Pokemon Center.

Okami finally was done teleporting Sasuke, Sakura, her civilian parents, and Naruto inside the Pokemon Center. "That was really tiring!"

He summoned his Pokemon App and thought that it was the best time to use his Dream Points to contact the mysterious God. In his mind, he expressed his d.e.s.i.r.e to meet the mysterious God to clarify some questions that were bothering him. Nothing happened the first time he tried. He was about to give up while he was on his fifth attempt when he noticed that the Pokemon App glowed and he was covered with white lights. When he heard the familiar voice, he smiled and knew that his plan was successful.
