Okami took off his blindfold after hitting the creature with a devastating punch. He looked down and saw the last liger giving its last whimper before falling on the ground.

"So this is how it feels when one awakens the Observation Haki." Okami's eyes reddened when he activated his Haki again and 'saw' Glen's aura, who was waiting outside the cavern. He scanned the area thoroughly and realized that no living ligers were present inside. After deactivating his Haki, he unsummoned Crobat and picked up his things as he stepped over their dead bodies. "Looks like I have overdone it. What matters is I have finished what I intended to do."

This time, he was relaxed because the dangers inside the cavern were exterminated. He strolled on his way out, enjoying the scenic stalagmites and stalactites that were adorning the ceilings and floors. After several minutes of spelunking, he arrived at the exit.

"Hey, Glen! Is the food ready?"

Glen looked behind him. "Of course! I don't want to repeat that horrible experience. No, siree. I don't want to experience that horrible training when I failed to make food."

"Hey, I just wanted to train you properly. I never thought you took it the wrong way."

"Nah, you were just venting your frustrations."

Okami chuckled and took a seat while grabbing several pieces of meat from the plate and started eating. "This is good!"

Glen puffed up his c.h.e.s.t. "Of course. This is the head chef of the future SS Anne ship. It is expected."

"Yeah, yeah. Anyway, thanks to me, you can now activate your Zoan Human form, right?"

"At the expense of my sanity and body, that is."

"Well, congratulations. Your wish is finally granted." Okami finished the last slab of meat and drank water, before saying, "We are now going back to the Foosha village."

Glen's eyes widened before shouting out loud. "F.u.c.k.i.n.g yes! Hah! Back to civilization!"

Okami laughed boisterously and stood up. "Let's go."

========================

Glen was on his Zoan animal form while Okami rode atop his Gyarados' head when they decided to travel by sea. All the sea animals did not dare approach the two humongous Gyarados swimming as they enjoyed basking under the heat of the sun.

Once they reached the seashore located at the edge of the Goa Kingdom, Glen transformed back into his normal form while Okami teleported to the ground and unsummoned his Gyarados. He then summoned his two bird pokemon and let Glen mounted Fearow while he rode on Pidgeot's back. They flew back to the Foosha village as they traversed the sky.

The pokemon landed at the backyard and they both dismounted. After unsummoning them, Glen ran toward the Partys Bar's entrance.

"Looks like he missed the place a lot," Okami muttered to himself as he headed to the bar. He opened the saloon doors and the first thing he saw was the figures of Glen and Mackie arguing with each other.

"I'm still the head chef, you dumbass!" Glen shouted as he rolled up his sleeves. "Wanna fight? I can teach you a thing or two about insubordination."

Mackie sneered and wagged his fingers. "Nope. It's not insubordination. It's called a replacement. And don't give me that menacing look, Old Man. I can just blow you away with my Gust attack."

"Looks like you need to experience my Hyperbeam, huh?! Wanna go?"

"Sure! Where should we fight?"

"At the battle arena!"

Okami absorbed Tauros and Arbok and the people inside felt the suffocating presence from his Intermediate 'Intimidate' ability. Luckily, there were few people present this time since it was lunch. "Hey, I wanna join your battle. I can fight you at the same time if you're interested."

Glen snorted and went inside the kitchen while Mackie was perplexed by the sudden pressure that came from Okami's body. After a few minutes of contemplation, he returned to the kitchen as well.

"I'm hungry, Glen. Don't forget to prepare some meal for me." Okami returned the pokemon to the resting state and approached the Healing Machine. "Good noon, Cola. How are you?"

Cola stepped back and stuttered. "Please...please don't hurt me!"

Okami tilted his face slightly, leaned on the countertop and cupped his chin. "Why should I hurt my employee?"

"Uh...please...I'm not bad..."

"I know." Okami gave her some space and moved several steps away from her. "Do you know where Makino is?"

"Uh...she...she's outside..."

Okam left the area and headed to the Pokemart. "Hello, Troy. How's the shop?"

Troy gave him five books. "These are the sales for this year. I'm fine, Okami."

Okami took hold of the books and started skimming. After he was done, he looked at Troy with amazement in his eyes and said, "Looks like we've earned a lot of money. Good job in keeping these details as concise and clear as possible."

Troy nodded. "I've got something to report to you. I don't know what happened but a certain portion of the daily income disappears every time I deposit it inside the cash register."

"Don't worry. It's just the way it is. All I can say is they were used to supply our stocks inside the Pokemart."

"I thought so as well. Anyway, I am already proficient with my Blastoise form."

Okami gave him a thumbs-up sign. "Good job. Continue training and soon, you will also activate the Zoan 'Human' form. Who knows, you might be the first one to awaken your ability among the group."

Troy smiled. "Thank you for everything, Okami."

Okami was genuinely surprised by Troy's gratefulness. "Well, you're welcome." He then headed to the lounge area and waited for his lunch. He was about to take a nap when he noticed someone entering the bar.

"OKAMI!"

Luffy ran toward him and asked, "Where were you? I thought you went together with Shanks and became a pirate."

"Hah! How many times do I have to tell you that I am not a pirate? I am not planning to join his crew." Okami noticed the straw hat he was wearing and remembered what Shanks did in the original plot. Even though he knew who gave it to him, he acted like he was curious and inquired, "Hey, Shanks has a straw hat as well. Are you trying to copy his looks?"

"This is his! He gave it to me before leaving." Luffy showed his straw hat and laughed boisterously. "He said to return it to him once I get stronger. Of course, that is to be expected because I'm gonna be the Pirate King!"

BANG!

The saloon doors almost flew open and a towering person entered the bar. The muscular old man wearing his black suit glared at Luffy and rubbed his clenched fist. "Are you still dreaming of becoming a pirate, you smelly brat?!"

Luffy turned around and flinched when he saw the owner of the voice. He recalled the times when he was with his grandfather and hid behind Okami. "I don't wanna become a Marine! Nope! I will be the Pirate King! You can't change my mind!"

"Looks like you are missing my punches. Time to fix you up!"

Luffy widened his eyes and shouted, "Help! Okami!"

Okami coughed when he heard Luffy's words, annoyed that the kid pulled him into this family fiasco. He could not deny that he felt nervous because he was facing one of the strongest characters in the world of One Piece. Even though he knew who the old man was, he pretended to act clueless. "What are you saying? Who's this person?"

Luffy leaned closer and whispered, "That's a devil. His punches truly hurt even though I'm a rubber man."

"I can still hear you, smelly brat!" The old man stared at him from head to feet before asking, "You're Okami?"

Okami was taken aback. "How come you know who I am?"

"I met Makino awhile ago, saying she's got a powerful Boss this time. She said you're super strong. Wanna exchange fists with me?"

Okami gulped and laughed nervously. "Nah. It's a waste of time. Anyway, may I know your name? It's kind of rude that I don't even know you while we are talking like this."

"You may call me Old Garp, kid."

"Nice to meet you, Old Garp. Please stay a bit longer and eat. My treat."

Garp laughed loudly. "Good! You're a sensible one, unlike some smelly brat I know." He glared at Luffy and threatened him, "Don't you dare escape this time or I'll tie you up."

Okami ruffled Luffy's hair. "Sit down and eat with us. You like meat, don't you?"

"Yeah..." Luffy slumped on the chair and grumbled. "Grumpy old devil..."

Even though Garp was annoyed, he did not hit the kid and took a seat as well. This time, his eyes were peeled on Okami. "I've heard several things about you, kid. You can't still remember what happened to you?"

Okami nodded, wondering what other things Makino had told him. "I don't know why but something's preventing me from recalling those memories. But I am assured that they will return to my head."

Garp agreed and tapped his fingers on the table. "I've seen those little critters they used to fight in the battle arena. They said you were the one who introduced those creatures. What are they?"

Okami explained what the pokemon was all about. When he was done, he showed the Pokeball to him and continued, "This is what we used when catching the pokemon."

"Interesting." Garp scrutinized the object and was amazed by the intricacies of its design. "Who made these things?"

Okami could only lie to support his claim and started making things up. "It's part of my power. I have eaten the Summon-Summon Fruit."

"You're a Devil Fruit user?" Garp narrowed his eyes and looked at Luffy before returning his gaze to Okami and continued, "Those critters are also part of your summoning abilities?"

Okami could only nod. "Those pokemon roaming outside the village are the aftereffect of my summoning abilities. In short, they are not under my control and any people can use them to their advantage."

Garp was in deep thoughts, musing over what he heard earlier. After several minutes, he looked at him and asked, "What do you think of pirates?"

"They're the enemies of Marines," Okami answered without hesitation.

"What about Marines?"

"They're the enemies of pirates."

Garp's eyes twitched before laughing out loud. "Bwahahaha! That's a simple way of describing them, I guess. Then, do you want to become a Marine, kid?"

"Nope. I just want to travel the seas and sell things."

"You're planning to build a merchant ship?"

Okami was about to respond when Glen suddenly interrupted, "Old Garp? How come you are here?"

Garp looked sideways and saw Glen approaching him. "Bwahahaha! I'm surprised you are still alive, Glen. I'm just here to take Luffy somewhere special."

Luffy's eyes widened and sneaked toward the window when he felt someone grabbed his collar. "Release me! I don't wanna go!"

Garp punched him on his head. "Shut up, smelly brat! This time, I'm going to make sure that you change your mind and become a Marine. You have no say in this." He then lifted Luffy with one hand and cackled. "You can't escape, bwahahaha!"

Glen could only pity the kid and sighed. "Are you on vacation right now?"

Garp moved the chair beside him and placed Luffy. "Yes. I don't want to spend my time in the Headquarter together with those smelly brats. I'd rather enjoy the sea and relax."

While they were talking, Mackie approached them with two trays on his hands. He then set the meal on the table and went back to the kitchen to serve the remaining food.

They ate lunch and continued their conversation. Soon, Okami excused himself because he still had to find Seraph and teleported to the back yard.

"That was stressful." Okami forgot that Garp always visited the Foosha village in the original plot. Whatever the case, this would not stop his plan in making this place an important Pokemon site. "Anyway, time to look for Seraph. I hope he did not forget his promise."

Okami closed his eyes and activated his Observation Haki to further enhance his searching ability. He scanned the village and smiled when he found his target.
