The Pokemon Emissary Among Worlds

The people inside the pirate ship were almost tossed out due to the clashing effect of the two opposing powers. The seas churned roughly, producing waves of differing sizes that were strong enough to sink ordinary boats. Fortunately, Bunny's ship was constructed from good-quality materials, thereby resisting the massive force. Even then, they were drifted several meters away from their initial location.

Clouds of smoke covered the area where the collision happened. The people could hardly see who was victorious. When the smoke dissipated, they saw Okami floating in the air like it was nothing. Even his clothes were left unscathed.

Okami turned around and teleported right at the middle of the pirate boat. Even though he was alone amidst the fifty men, he did not feel scared at all. "So, who is the captain of this ship?"

Unknown to him, his body was emitting a little bit of his Kyubi's aura, hampering any of their intentions to fight back. All of them simultaneously looked in one direction. When Bunny noticed that they were all staring at him, he gritted his teeth, almost wanting to tear them alive. The pressure he felt from the young man was intense but he wanted to retain his integrity and stepped forward. With a loud voice, he shouted, "I am One-Eyed Bunny, the captain of the Bunny Hopping Pirates!"

"Wait a minute." Okami vanished in a flash and after a few seconds, reappeared once again, this time with several posters on his hands. He scanned through each of them and compared the pictures as he glimpsed at Bunny from time to time. "Ah, indeed! One-Eyed Bunny with a reward of 10,000,000 Beli. Wanted for stealing important doc.u.ments from a marine base. What do you say for yourself?"

Bunny spat on the floor and snickered. "F.u.c.k.i.n.g World Government! I never stole anything from them! I am just a scapegoat but people would rather believe that f.u.c.k.i.n.g news because they are deemed trustworthy! F.u.c.k marines!"

Okami knew how the higher-ranked marines worked and one of them was pushing the blame to the pirates. He teleported beside Makino and gave back the posters before reappearing at the ship, and said, "Even then, I am a merchant and I need Beli. You can choose two things: Disband your crew and give me 10 million Beli or surrender to the marines. But if you resist, then death is the only option you will have."

One of the men stepped forward and raised his sword. "We are not scared of you! You're just a boy who still has no hairs on your d.i.c.k, f.u.c.ker! Before - "

He did not even finish his sentence when a sharp dagger was pierced through his neck. The blood spurted out as he slowly toppled on the floor.

"Who told you to speak such nonsense things," Bunny said in an indifferent tone while he juggled the rest of the daggers on his hands. He shifted his attention to Okami and asked, "You want our ship as well, right?"

Okami smiled as he clapped his hands. "Correct. It's easy to talk with intelligent people like you."

Bunny threw all his weapons on the floor and faced his crew. "From now on, Bunny Hopping Pirates does not exist anymore! You can do what you want and I will not interfere with any of your decisions!"

Michael sighed when he saw how his captain reacted, believing that it was the safest bet to keep the rest of them alive. He was already together with Bunny even before starting their journey as a pirate, and he knew every secret he had. Even though it was a rash decision, he understood his choice. "Okay..."

One of them could not accept the disbandment and rushed forward as he swung his sword against Okami, only to find out that an invisible barrier blocked his path. He was not aware that Mr. Mime was already summoned just as he started his attack.

He screamed in horror when he saw his sword floating in the air, which then pierced his c.h.e.s.t before he could even react.

"Good job!" Okami patted Mr. Mime's head before giving them a glaring look. "Anyone else?"

Nobody dared to reply and scurried toward where the small boats were stored. Soon, everyone was sailing away from the area except for Michael and Bunny.

Okami signaled the rest of his crew members that the fight was over. They understood his intentions and sailed toward the pirate ship.

Bunny finally saw Okami's crew members up close, surprised that they all looked normal and harmless. If he would meet them in other circ.u.mstances, he would have mistaken them to be villagers.

Makino was about to enter the shipping quarter when she noticed the redhead behind Bunny. Her eyes reddened and her voice quivered as she called him. "Michael?!"

Michael was taken aback when a familiar voice mentioned his name. When he recognized the owner of the voice, his heartbeat became faster. "Sister?!"

They ran to each other and hugged, not minding the people around them as they had their reunion.

Troy, Glen, and Mackie had a knowing look on their faces while Bunny's mouth twitched because he was almost casually killed by the friends of his vice-captain's sister.

Okami scratched his head when he realized how they narrowly avoided a situation that could break their group. Luckily, he was not an overbearing person and he gave them a chance to redeem themselves. He coughed lightly to call their attention and asked, "Can you tell me what's going on?"

Makino wiped the tears off her eyes. She turned around and introduced the young man next to her. "Michael is my younger brother. It's the reason why I've been earning money like there's no tomorrow - to redeem my brother from the clutches of the loan sharks owned by a noble. My family has been under their radar since the time my father was filled with debts. Sadly, Papa was not able to pay and my brother was taken away. It's been ten years since we are separated and I'm glad that we finally meet."

Michael took over the conversation. "Bunny and I have met at their headquarter and we became close friends. Their group loves to gouge out the eyes of their captives, that is the reason why we have eyepatches on our faces. Luckily, we were able to escape from that horrible place and became pirates to survive."

Makino snapped her fingers. "Why don't you join our group?"

Michael pointed at his captain. "He is the decision-maker. I'll follow whatever he chooses."

Bunny shrugged his shoulders. "Ask your leader."

Makino turned around and looked at Okami with puppy eyes. "Please let them join us, Boss."

Okami considered his options before nodding his head. "Tell me what you are good at."

The first one to introduce himself was Bunny. "My real name is Rey but people call me Bunny because of my special powers. I ate the Rabbit fruit and I can take advantage of Rabbit's flexibility and agility to overpower my enemies. As for my specialty, I am good in scouting."

Michael bowed before speaking. "I am Michael, the younger half-brother of Makino. I am the navigator of the disbanded Bunny Hopping Pirates. I am also a swordsman."

Okami knew that this situation was a bit tricky because they were already marked as wanted people by the marines. "You know that there is a reward on your head, Bunny. If the marines will find out that I am taking in a pirate as a member of my crew, then I will be in trouble."

Bunny nodded his head. "The truth is Michael has a bounty as well. A million Beli to be exact."

Okami stared at Makino and asked, "Did you pay your debts to the loan sharks?"

"I already did."

"Good." Okami concentrated his willpower and found out that the marine base was still within his teleporting range. "Wait a minute. I have to do something." He then teleported right at Shells Town.

Meanwhile, inside the Marine Base at the Shells Town, Lieutenant Robert was busily checking the papers stacked on his table when he heard someone calling him. "Enter!"

Ensign Eric rushed inside the office and said, "Lieutenant, the pirate hunter is looking for you. He is outside right now."

Robert was about to reprimand him when he recalled something and asked, "Is he Okami?"

Eric nodded.

"Then what are you waiting for?! He is a special guest, there's no need to let him wait that long."

Eric went outside and allowed Okami to enter the premise.

Robert smiled vibrantly when he saw Okami's face and cheerfully greeted him. "How can I help you, Okami?"

Okami bowed his head and approached him. "It's like this. Please help me retract the bounty of these two people," he said as he set the poster of Bunny and continued, "and I will make sure to make it worth your while."

Robert frowned. "What's the name of the other pirate?"

"Michael, the vice-captain of the Bunny Hopping Pirates."

Robert took out the wanted posters from his drawer and searched the pile. Once he found what he was looking for, he called someone through the Den Den Mushi. After several minutes, he ended the call and shifted back his attention to Okami. "It's done. I promised the noble to give them a certain number of Fire Stones in exchange for their help. Just a simple call from him and the deciding house agreed. Luckily, those two pirates were not overbearing and they did not do anything that angered them. Just make sure that they don't delve into piracy again."

"Of course. In return, I will increase the promised supplies."

After everything was done, Okami teleported back to the ship, much to everyone's surprise.

"How did it go?" Makino asked.

Okami gave them a thumbs-up sign. "Everything is settled. Don't worry, the rewards on their head are already retracted and they are free."

Bunny could not help but cursed loudly when it was done like it was nothing. Michael laughed boisterously and hugged his sister.

Okami looked around and noticed that the trio was missing. "Where are they?"

"At the sleeping quarter, Boss," Makino replied.

"Call them. I still have to announce something before we take a rest."

Makino complied right away and walked downstairs. After a few minutes, they came out altogether and went toward the open deck.

Okami gave each of them a glimpse before speaking out loud. "Today, we will have additional members, even though they are still in probation. Michael, you will be our navigator. Your task is to safely plan the things we need as we journey the sea and sail toward the Grand Line. In short, you will keep tabs on our logistics.

Bunny, you will be in-charge with acquiring intelligence and scouting. Your job is to be updated in every single thing that is happening around us. Any worthwhile news and events should be relayed to us immediately to keep up with the power struggles. Make sure that you are informed about any upcoming wars so we will not be caught in the middle of their battles like sitting dead ducks.

Tomorrow, all of you will resume bounty-hunting, this time, in partners. Makino will be with Michael. Troy, you will be together with Bunny. Glen and Mackie will be in one group. If they surrender peacefully, let the cannon fodders leave because we only need the wanted person. But if they retaliate, then kill them without remorse. If you can keep the ship safe, good, but if not, then better destroy it properly so that no one can use it again. Treasures should be brought back here. Any questions?"

Everyone shook their heads.

Okami then shifted his attention back to Michael and Bunny, asking, "Do you want to become Pokemon Trainers?"

Bunny narrowed his eyes. "What are they?"

Okami explained what pokemon was and how pokemon trainers came to be. After he was done, he repeated his question. "Do you want to be Pokemon Trainers?"

Bunny recalled what happened back then and realized that it was similar to that of a Zoan. "Will it not hinder my Devil Fruit ability?"

Okami shook his head. "Technically, they are not using Devil Fruit powers so there is no reason for you to die if you become a Pokemon Trainer. But it's your choice whether you agree to become one or not."

Bunny thought about what he could do in the future before saying, "I want to become an effective scout. Is there any pokemon that can help me become one?"

"There is one." Okami summoned Ditto and said, "This is Ditto, a transform pokemon. You can copy the target's looks except for its eyes, so you better wear shades every time you use this to sneak."

"Good, I choose Ditto."

At once, Okami summoned the Pokemon Duplicating machine and reproduced a Ditto. He then proceeded to change Bunny into a Pokemon Trainer through the Pokemon App. The swiveling lights materialized before them while Ditto's image appeared right above Bunny's head before everything rushed towards his body.

Okami received a new prompt after the process was completed.
