The President's Lover is a Fighter

Walking with Gao Rou and five other armed soldiers, Lu Wei and General Lei emitted a powerful aura as they headed towards the Governor's office in Tianjin. The people around them were curious as to what could have brought these two men barging in the office building with such escorts behind them.

"Sir, we have a problem. Lu Wei and the General are already here. I've also received a report that the Asylum had been taken over by the General's men – "

"What did you say? When did this happen?" The Governor questioned his assistant in anger. His face showed a hint of despair.

"Sir, we need to leave at the back entrance as soon as possible. We don't have time for this –"

"Come on, let's not waste any more time!"

Rou Yanlin was already a meter from outside the door when the General and Mr. Lu had arrived. To his horror, he was not going to escape from this humiliating arrest.

"Governor Rou Yanlin, we are putting you under arrest for conspiracy to commit a crime." General Lei announced and instructed his men to seize him before reminding him of his rights. "You have the right to remain silent. If you do say anything, it can be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to have a lawyer present during any questioning. If you cannot afford a lawyer, one will be appointed for you if you so desire."

"Rou Yanlin, you are not escaping this time. I will make sure that you don't die anytime soon and enjoy prison for a much longer period. I will have you enjoy the best medical facility so you can stay alive behind prison bars!" Lu Wei said as he vowed to make the Governor pay for all the strain he had brought about his family.

Before the soldiers could take him, he asked to bid goodbye to his assistant and so he gave him a hug and whispered to his ears, "Han Yun, carry out the plan and take me out of prison. You know what to do."

"Yes, sir. I'll take care of your properties for the meantime." Han Yun was quick to make a lie so as not to be suspected.

Lu Wei's striking eyes never left Rou Yanlin even as he was outside the office building. This made the Governor displeased so he made sure to leave the man some words to keep him haunted. "Lu Wei, your mother was a whore. She spread her legs for me way too easily and enjoyed every moment being in bed. She had to leave you so she can continue to be pleased by me."

"Rou Yanlin, I don't live in the past. I did not become the man I am today just to be easily affected by such uncanny approach. You are pathetic using your own wife to get back at me. No wonder, you were never her first choice."

Lu Wei's response was a blow to the Governor's ego. He was right, he was never loved by his wife. Up to the very end, even while dying in her hospital bed, Lan Xioli never asked him for comfort. He knew deep inside him, he never had a special place in her heart.

Back in Lu Wei-Enterprises, the time has finally come to officially announce to the world the new CEO of the company. The executives and employees were dressed elegantly while hoping to get a glimpse or catch the attention of any special guests who were invited for the event. They were also looking forward to seeing their handsome president join them in a casual celebration and perhaps find the time to check on their well-being.

While waiting for the even to start, some of the employees were in the ladies room gossiping about their President's girlfriend.

"Did you hear that CEO Lu's girlfriend is actually his bodyguard?"

"Yes, I heard that too."

"Well, I can confirm that! I was the one who changed her ID badge after learning she had to fake her appearance just to get the job! Haha! I feel so sorry for her, she had to look incredibly ugly just to apply for work."

"Oh I heard that too, Ms. Wu Meiwan had required for the new bodyguard to be unattractive. Can you believe her? She is so insecure even to a mere bodyguard!"

"Yeah, but the bodyguard did get the president and Wu Miewan ended up hiring the new girlfriend."

"To think she was telling everybody that she was engaged to our President."

"I know, it was just, apparently, her imagination!"

The women were laughing at the circumstances that their former HR Manager brought to herself. Not knowing that the same woman they are talking about was in one of the cubicles listening to what they had to say.

"If a mere bodyguard had a chance to steal our CEO's heart, then we definitely have a chance!"

"I know, that is why I am requesting for work transfer to be one of his secretaries! I might just get a chance to win him over!"

"I don't know about that, guys, this bodyguard, Andrea Li? She is pretty gorgeous or at least the photo. It was Director Wang who brought her photo ID but last I saw Andrea she was still in her disguise."

"Wait, how did you guys know about this? I never told anyone!"

"Oh, it was Sue, your seatmate! Haha! She is the best source of gossip from the Human Resource Department."

Wu Meiwan's atmosphere became dark. She remembered how she was all of a sudden informed of her dismissal. Only Director Wang had explained the reason and Wu Xu Ying, her father did not do anything to retract Lu Fang's decision. The argument she had with him surrounded on how mindless of her to just let anybody inside the private office without checking their identity.

She thought that her faults were minor and that she could still convince Lu Fang to get her back to the office, but all along, it was because of Andrea Li.

'Andrea Li, you must have influenced Brother Fang to have me fired. I'm insecure? Well, you had to get rid of me just so you can have him to yourself! You must think of me as a threat! Just wait and see, I will make you pay and take back Brother Fang!'
