The President's Lover is a Fighter

Lu Fang was walking back and forth in the living area waiting for his babe. He was very excited to show her off in this event that he made sure to hire the best stylist in town. He was looking awfully dashing in his blue suit, his broad shoulders evident and his ivy league haircut gave emphasis to his strong jawline.

"Mr. Lu, finally, she is ready," the stylist said as he assisted Andrea going down the stairs.

Andrea's hair was tied to a bun on the lower part of her head with a few strands of it falling off. Her hairstyle showed off her slender neck and the small blue and green Swarovski pins on the back gave it a touch of elegance.

She was wearing a long light mint-blue dress that hugged her body perfectly, but what caught the man's attention was how the open-back dress highlighted well her lean back. Just like her hair, the dress was beaded with Swarovski stones that faded out towards her lower hip.

Her make-up was light but she did not need any. To Lu Fang she was the most beautiful woman in the world, one he would cherish for eternity.

Andrea was liking the effect she had on him as she walked down the stairs. She loved his adoring gaze and she hopes he would continue to look at her the same way.

"Babe, don't drool over me, I'm already yours," Andrea teased while walking towards him to give the man a light kiss.

Lu Fang's smiled from ear to ear and hugged her lightly touching her bare back before accepting the kiss.

"Ahem… Mr. Lu, please do control yourself. Her make-up might get ruined. It was already hard enough to cover all her hickeys. Haha." The stylist tried to appeal with the man who was looking at Andrea with great admiration.

"Hmmm… I'll decide on that. Let's go, babe, our guests awaits us."

The arrival of the couple made everyone look up and appreciate that such beautiful creatures exist in this world. They could not help but acknowledge how the two were perfectly suited for each other. Everyone could tell that the new CEO of Lu-Wei Enterprises adored the woman beside him. He stood by her side from the moment they arrived and held her from the back before taking a seat at their designated table.

"Andrea, dear. You look so beautiful. It is no wonder my son can't take his eyes off you," Christina Lu said as she came to give her a kiss on the cheek.

"Thank you Mrs. Lu, you look incredibly beautiful yourself. Why, you still look like in your 30's!"

Christina could not help but laugh at her compliment but, she knew too well Andrea was right. After all, she was Lu Fang's mother, his son got most of his good looks from her.

"Andrea."

Hearing her name, she turned to see who it was and stood up before giving her reply, "Mr. Lu, good evening. It's nice to see you again."

Lu Wei came up to Andrea with a smile and gave her a hug. This immediately caught her by surprise. She wasn't sure how to react, but before she knew it, he explained his actions, "Andrea, I could not be more thankful for the help you have extended to our family. If not for you, we would not have found out about Rou Yanlin. If not for you, we may not have found pieces of evidence to put him behind bars. So, thank you."

"Mr. Lu, not only was it my job to protect your son, I care for him more than you know."

He was nodded at her response before saying another word. "I will be honest with you, Andrea. I did not like the idea of my son dating his bodyguard. Though I constantly remind myself that a woman's job has no bearing to becoming part of our family, others will continue to have the same opinion… I do hope you will consider changing profession."

"I don't necessarily care what other people say, but hope you can consider this for the sake of Lu Fang."

She thought about it for a second before smiling back at him. "Mr. Lu, I appreciate your honesty. I will reconsider your suggestion."

Seeing Andrea being welcomed by Lu Fang's parents made the ladies envious of her standing. They could not believe how accepting they were to a mere bodyguard. While others were flaming with jealousy, a few were appreciating her beauty and profession.

"I heard that she helped saved the president's life. She must be really good."

"She is too beautiful to be a bodyguard, I am really jealous of her. I wish I was like her."

"Oh, please, Mr. Lu will get tired of her soon enough. Just wait and see, once his life is no longer in danger, he will find someone else."

"I don't know about that, our CEO has not dated anyone for a long time. Nor was he seen with other women. I think he is the one-woman kind of a guy."

In one of the tables, Wu Meiwan was seated beside her father looking angrily at the couple. She could never forget how Andrea had tricked her to believe she was someone else and had managed to get money from her. She was waiting for Lu Jie to arrive so she could join them at their table and flaunt to Andrea how close she was to the family. Although she was no longer working for the company, she was still invited to this event in respect of their long friendship with the Lus.

Meanwhile, Andrea was still in deep thought on her chair as his man was talking to the executives in the next table.

'Changing profession.'

She knows how to handle a business, she has a few on her own, but she was truly afraid that she would lose her agility if she becomes a normal businesswoman. Yet, she thought, her sister was able to manage, she could consider changing herself for this man.

'Lu Fang, you might be the one to change me.' Andrea whispered to herself while carefully looking back analyzing if she had indeed cleaned the tracks of her dangerous past. She was sure to have removed herself from the hit list of the world's treacherous assassins.

'Amaryllis Red, you are dead. I am now just simply, Andrea Li. I can do this… I can stay beside the man I love.'
