The President's Lover is a Fighter

In the police station, Wu Xu Ying and Wu Meiwan were visited by their attorney.

"Mr. Wu, I regret to inform you that I cannot represent you anymore. I'm very sorry. I came here to personally tell you this -"

"What do you mean? I have made you into a rich man that you are and that was all thanks to my connections! You ungrateful son of a b***h!"

"I'm sorry Mr. Wu. I will take my leave now." The lawyer left without waiting for any response.

Meiwan's face was full of anxiety. She just had the most tormenting night of her life spending it in a prison cell. She cried before asking her father, "Daddy, what are we going to do now?"

"There are lots of lawyers out there! He is a fool if he thinks we badly need him. It's his loss!"

"Fret not, my child, I will contact another lawyer."

Alas, the day ended but to the 57 calls that Wu Xu Ying made, none of them were willing to represent him. Even the public defenders refused to take his case leaving him in anguish.

He tried to ask a friend's help but was told, "How could you have offended the Royal Dragon Family? They had sent out a warning to those who will aid you especially the defense lawyers. I am sorry Xu Ying, but I am afraid I can't help you."

Prior to getting a visit from their lawyer, the President of the Royal Dragon Corporation announced that they will not affiliate with any businessmen, lawyers and even simple workmen who will assist the Wu Ventures Investment Firm in its current state. Being the sole owner of this firm, one can only guess the warning was directed to Wu Xu Ying and his family.

Small and medium enterprises like the Wu Ventures were taken by surprise that a small investment firm could spite the Royal Dragon Corporation. They dare not go against the announcement and so, no lawyers not even the public servants were willing to help them. As a result, Lu Wei and Lu Fang were saved with the trouble of having to deal with the two insignificant people inside prison.

Because it was a weekend, Lu Fang wanted to take Andrea to the outskirts. After getting out from the hospital, they headed home to pack their bags and invited Gao Rou, Xio Hanxi and Go Bolin with them. They figured, there was no serious love-making that was going to happen since Andrea had her period, so there was no harm in bringing good company.

The group drove in two cars as the trio refuses to witness any public display of affection from the couple, Lu Fang ended up driving with Andrea.

Andrea was enjoying the wind blowing in her face as she opened the car window smelling the sweet scent of grassy meadows. Oh, how she loved the countryside.

"Babe, did you have anything to do with the Royal Dragon's announcement against the Wus?" asked Lu Fang.

She turned to acknowledge him while running her fingers through her hair, "Yeah, I asked Li Wen. It's nothing for them."

"Wow, the president must trust your sister a lot – "

"Hmmmf... I guess you could say that… Hey, by the way, Li Wen asked if we could attend my brother in law's birthday party."

The man was smiling from ear to ear hearing he would finally meet her sister. "I'd love that."

After a two-hour drive, they finally reached an open landscape which only had two trees standing in the middle of the field and not too far from it, were series of pine trees that apparently covered a lake house.

"Woah!" Exclaimed Andrea. She could not believe her eyes.

Lu Fang nodded with a smile telling her how private the location was. "You can only see this lake from the air. It's very well hidden. My mother bought this property when I was still young… Our kids will love it here."

Andrea just looked out the window blushing from the idea of having kids but tried to keep it to herself and gave her objection, "What? We are not yet even married!"

The man simply took her hand and kissed it lightly before going back to the wheel. He stole glances at the girl he considers the love of his life and seeing her cheeks turn red, implying that kids will follow after marriage gave him the idea that she was willing to stay by his side.

"I love you, Andy."

She looked back at the man's masculine face, his firm jawline and the way his Adam's apple moved as he talks, it made him look really sexy. Andrea thought she was definitely pleased with her choice and as the car was about to stop, she continued to give him a dreamy stare before saying how she felt. "I love you too, babe."

After getting settled, the group had a joyous afternoon as they went fishing and later, made barbecue for dinner. They had started to feel safe and indulged themselves for the time being not knowing that they were just given a momentary peace.

Sitting behind a glass window of a correctional facility, Rou Yanlin received a detailed master plan which was handed to him by his assistant, Han Yun. He was to escape by next week following a transfer schedule to another prison.

"Good, I am too old for this prison, Han Yun. I look forward to getting out of here."

"Sir, the plan is set for next week. Lu Fang's assistant will be out of the picture and soon, we will have an advantage over them... We have also managed to identify the girl who is said to be Lu Fang's girlfriend. She used to be part of the Royal Dragon's security team, but other than that, we don't have much information on her. However, at least we know she is the one we need to separate from the Lus."

Although locked behind bars, Rou Yanlin still received special treatment in the prison facility of Tianjin. He had paid off the jail guards and the Chief of Police to make his stay rather comfortable. He may no longer be in a position of power but his wealth can still buy him comfort and the manpower needed to conclude his plan of revenge.
