The President's Lover is a Fighter

The group was satisfied with their barbecue that night. Gao Rou, although a muscled man would do great being a house husband. Everybody agreed that the meal prepared was flavorful. Although they all lend a hand in grilling the meat, he did all the seasoning and prepared the salad to go with it.

"I don't have any family, so learned to cook," says Gao Rou as he finished up his last piece. "Lu Fang is as good as me, so you don't need to worry, Andrea. You will never go hungry."

"Arrg... Actually, I think I am gaining weight." She complained while touching her belly.

Since they moved into the mansion, Lu Fang has been cooking breakfast and dinner whenever possible. She, on the other hand, was a mere spectator in the kitchen. The man would not even let her wash the dishes.

"Alright! It's time for beer!" Xio Hanxi announced arriving with Go Bolin carrying an entire case.

Andrea glared at him. She could not believe that he would dare to drink with them considering his control issues.

"If Hanxi drinks more than 5 bottles of beer, we need to throw him into the lake so he can kill all the alligators effortlessly." She laughed as she said this while revealing to the group how he becomes a killing machine under the influence.

Go Bolin can only gulp at the thought. He was the only one without any fighting experience and would certainly make sure to avoid Xio Hanxi should it reach that point.

"Hey... Says the girl who goes wild after a bottle of wine!"

"Hanxi, you!" Andrea chased him around the house ashamed having been told.

Learning his babe was capable of being untamed, Lu Fang made a mental note, ' Let Andrea drink an entire bottle of wine on Monday.'

The lake house had an enormous open balcony on the 3rd level which was perfect for star gazing and the couple decided to cuddle in a huge bean bag while the three continued to drink in the veranda below them.

"Andy, tell me about your family? What have you been up to before we met?"

Andrea's head was leaning against his torso thinking of what to say to him. She was suddenly silent and began sorting through a pile of secrets in her head trying to decide where to start. She then turned to the side and hugged him tightly.

"Andy?"

"Sometimes, I wonder if I am that really important to you." He breathed in heavily and massaged his brows using his fingers while waiting for an answer.

She continued to hug him and as every second passed, her hold seemed to have gotten more solid. She gasped before saying another word, "What if you won't like my past? Would you decide to leave me?"

"I love you. I will never leave you, I, however, sometimes worry that one day, you'll disappear and I don't even know where to look for you."

'You can do this Andy, it's now or never.' She thought to herself.

"What if I'm an alien or a product of an experiment? Would you still want me?"

"What if I am a daughter of a mafia king, would you be willing to face my enemies?"

"What if I am a murderer...." her voice faded with her last words.

Lu Fang held her chin and covered her mouth making wet smacking kisses before replying, "I don't care if you are Lucifer, so long as you stay with me from now on. I don't even care if you don't love me... I just want you forever with me."

"Besides, I'm the prince of Gabriel's Den, I am not pure myself. I've made my hands dirty even for our own benefits. In my world, who is innocent? No one. I've already guessed you'd have blood in your hands and so have I."

He went back to tasting her sweet lips and pulled her by the waist that their bodies were practically rubbing against it each other. They had engrossed in another intimate make-out session taking just seconds of a breather.

"I used to get paid to kill. It was part of my adoptive father's business." She was then narrating her story and how she became Amaryllis Red's replacement. She explained to him how many organizations out there wanted her dead, having carried the name and how she could bring harm to him in the long run.

Lu Fang then realized he may not have enough power to protect her. His connections are only limited to those in China when Andrea's enemies are practically global. He then realized that he needed to strengthen Gabriel's Den. Since Andrea's past included a great deal of the underworld, he might as well sink his claws deeper.

"First, you are not the real Amaryllis Red. Second, she is already dead. It will remain that way unless your adapted family gives you up. 3rd, if your world is already that deep then I will join you. I promise I will be stronger for you," says the man while enunciating the last part.

She started to press her face harder against his chest moving it from side to side trying to comfort herself with his warmth.

"I never had a choice. Since the day I was born, I was brought up this way. I used to think, it was normal to kill your adversaries."

Andrea began to cry while still hugging him, she felt she could say it all. "Lu Fang, I am not normal, my genes at least... Both my parents were part of a genetic enhancement experiment. They were test subjects. Li Wen, my brother and I... We naturally had a fraction of their genes."

The man was caught by surprise. He already anticipated that Andrea had a dark past but, this was not something he had ever expected to learn. Her childhood must have been sad.
