The President's Lover is a Fighter

Halfway through the day, Lu Fang was getting a headache. He not only had meetings after meetings but learning of the other company's proposal for Global China was making him feel uneasy. He wanted to get this partnership and checking the competition was a must.

"You should not have spied on the other companies if you are just going to get stressed." Andrea came from behind him and kissed the side of his forehead down to his cheek.

"Hmmm… Thanks, babe. I feel a lot better."

"Here is the proposal I have prepared for you. We'll definitely get them as a partner. I promise," she said with optimism.

The man pulled her by the arm and made her sit on his lap. "Don't you think you are being too confident?"

"No! Of course not! Since I started helping my dad with his business, I have not had any rejected business proposal!" She boasted while starting to kiss the man on the lips, nibbling gently on his bottom lip. Her hands now wrapped around his neck as her fingers mess with his hair.

"Hmmm… These lips taste so delicious," she complimented then went diving back for more.

The couple had not done the deed in two days and Andrea was feeling a little hot for some reason. "Babe, how about a little stress release?"

The man's lips curved into a naughty smile before asking, "Hmmm… What did you have in mind?"

She then held one of his hand and guided it inside her knot dress, making him feel the tenderness of her breast.

Lu Fang was enjoying her advances. It was not like her to start getting intimate so he let her do whatever she wanted.

"Babe, have you already bought my sapphire ring?"

"Have you already re-booked the trip to the Maldives?"

She bit her bottom lip trying to hold a giggle. "Let's just go after visiting my sister. It's rather too late to have it re-booked. Besides – "

"Fang, I need to speak to you in private." Their conversation was interrupted by Shen Main who came right through the door without warning.

Disappointed with being barged in to, the man frowned and looked up with his brows knitted together. He immediately found Gao Rou behind the uninvited guest and explained himself, "She would not listen, bro!"

Andrea did not hurry on getting off from the man's lap. She stayed there and let the woman in front of them drown in envy.

The man signaled Gao Rou to close the door and Mian came forward hoping to clear up yesterday's event as a misunderstanding.

"What is it, Ms. Shen?" Hearing him call her by her last name gave a squeezing sensation inside her chest. He has never called her that way since they were young. "Can we speak in private, please?"

"Anything you need to say to me, you can say it in front of Andrea."

"Fang, I'm sorry about last night. I swear, I had no idea what my parents were thinking… You have to believe me."

"It's okay, Babe. I'll need to prepare for tomorrow's presentation, anyhow. I'll use Go Bolin's desk." Andrea stood up and fixed her clothes before deciding to head out.

Mian eyes followed Andrea and turned to Lu Fang after seeing she was gone.

"Fang, please – "

"You don't have to say anything more. What's done is done and - "

"I don't want to go to Singapore. I don't want to get promoted. Can I just stay here with you and be your assistant?" She came up to him and held on to his arm.

He was quick to shake off her hands and warned her, "Excuse me, Ms. Shen, but your conduct is unbecoming. You are not allowed to stay within 5 meters around me." He stood up and walked towards the other direction with clear intention to avoid before adding another word, "Go Bolin will remain to be my assistant. You were never meant to replace him in the first place. My decision about your transfer is final."

"Excuse me, I have a meeting to attend to."

Hearing the door close behind her, she felt tears flow down her cheek and both her hands clenched into a fist. She immediately thought of a person who will help her and decided she would give his godfather a call. She told herself, 'I will not give up without a fight.'

Before leaving, she saw the proposal prepared by Andrea inside a clear plastic folder and decided to have a look. Reading just a few pages, she realized its potential and took the folder with her hoping to use the material against her rival in tomorrow's presentation.

Stepping outside the president's office, she was quick to hide the document behind her while heading to her desk. Gao Rou did not notice anything suspicious. There, she managed to hide the folder inside her bag intending to study the proposal after getting home. She then began to check the venue for tomorrow's meeting as she was already planning her next scheme against Andrea.

Evening came, and She Mian thought her plan was perfect. She would come in early in the morning when no one was around to start setting up the trap. She was smiling with satisfaction when her soon to be victim came walking from the ladies room. She stared at her for a few seconds then decided she would rile her up.

'Oh no. Stupid woman alert! Alert! Alert! Avoid at all costs!' Andrea's brain was talking seeing the feisty lady walking to her direction.

The woman then stood in front of her with arms folded and said, "I can tell you have been intimate with Fang."

"What's it to you?"

"You think, Fang loves you? I'm telling you right now, you are just a bed warmer to him." Her every word was well enunciated hoping to pierce through one's heart.

"You see, me and Fang, we never did it. He respected me. That… is what true love is… Being infatuated with you, he may not realize it just yet, but soon enough he will come to me when he is tired of doing you!" Mian was about to walk away with style when she heard laughter.

Andrea dissolved into laughter and leaned to the nearest wall so she could support her weight. It did not take long for her eyes to become wet as she continued to chuckle.

"Why are you laughing? Are you mocking me?"

Finally, being able to hold it in, Andrea brushed her off. "You were about to leave, right?" She then walked past Mian thinking to herself. 'If you had a man like Lu Fang, why the hell would you want to be respected? Shen Mian, you are so pathetic. I will never give you the satisfaction of finding out what you have been missing.'
