The Princess And The Demon

"Your Majesty, as the high priest, my duty compels me to advise and guide you, light your steps with wisdom accured in years of meditation and knowledge, it is now where we need to be the closest to Gods, now more than ever, not just by our hearts but by our bodies, the storm is too strong and dark and only the light of Gods can break it, so let us come close to it... " high preist Goby talked in a high clear voice full of faith and a bit of authority, the kind of authority a person acquire from a deep believe in a cause, the confidence that he is right, it made Henry wonder, how can such a powerful voice come out of such a tiny old mouth? and what more, how can it be so loaded with garbage? he looked at the old man with an almost visible smirk, it was the word 'guide' that irked him, it didn't ring any bells in most of the room yet he clearly managed to see the meaning behind it, this old rat is planning to make the king his puppet, now that he is still young and newly crowned he want to impose the holy council's decisions and thoughts on him, 'guide' here only meant : we are the masters kid...

He wished he can ask this old rat to go f.u.c.k himself, but he was smarter than that, with the education he had from his mother, he learned how to perfectly control himself and never be driven by his emotions, especially not anger, she taught him how can a single word resume all the persons hidden intentions if he listened closely, and in the same time how can one word win or lose a debate, in this world it didn't matter if your ideas are right or wrong, what mattered was how you voice them..and how strong you are when you do; Therefore he listened to the high priest respectfully with an emotionless face, some other people around the table seemed to be moved as the high priest kept talking, councilers and dukes, already half agreeing to the old man's proposal to send the armies to protect the center of the world, when the high priest took a moment for some water Henry finally spoke...

"Your wise 'advice' is appreciated as always high priest" Henry purposely put an extra tone on the word 'advice' telling the high priest it is all what his speech meant, raising his head proudly as his eyes shined with royal authority, "But as a king, my duty compels me to protect my kingdom and it people, each part and each person are my greatest and most urgent priority , i will not easily give them up to those blood thirsty demons, i will stay here where i should and protect our borders, but worry not high priest, you are safe as well as our people"...

"But your majesty... " the high priest tried to object only to be cut by Henry again,

"I am afraid this matter is far from being negotiable, our foces are staying here to protect the borders and not moving anywhere else, it has been decided and signed by the rest of the kingdoms as well, now if this is all... "

The rest of the room went silent, the young king was indeed brave and proud to talk to the preist without any hint of fear in his voice, he was like his father in this matter, it sounded as if Henry kicked the high priest like a begger showing him who the master there was , the old's man face turned red as if he is about to explode in any second, leaving the meetings's room furiously with some whispers behind before Henry interrupted them abruptly, ending the noise and finishing the rest of the matters in hand, it was not the time to slack down, not with the demons forces on the move which only meant one thing... they have caught the hybrid...

"What the f.u.c.k have you done to her Geraldine? " Eren roared angrily at Geraldine inside the small cell while an unconscious Sara hang from a chain around her wrist while the other arm who was now free was dislocated, her face had a lifeless expression as her eyes were half open with no life in them, her cheeks bruised and swallowed due to hunger, her lips cracked and dry with a vertical cut on the right side... her skin turned dead pale, Eren hurriedly freed her wrist and took her in his arms leaving the cell, Geraldine questioned him with anger, where was he taking the filthy hybrid?,Eren turned to her sharply, his dark red eyes frightened her, even if he is a hybrid like her, he was as strong as a pure demon, even more due to his characteristics, the man was brutal and vicious, his darkness was endless, and right now she felt it would be all directed to her if she questioned him further, swallowing what ever words she was going to say..

"She is no good to us if she dead" was Eren simple statement before leaving the cell with the hybrid girl in his arms, leaving behind a doubtful Geraldine...
