The Princess And The Demon

In the same small house where the three leaders gathered for an entire night a week ago, sat the two handsome young men facing eacher, worry evident on both of their faces even if they both tried to conceal it, it was no secret that despite coming together they still looked at each other as delayed enemies, if the Gods won the war than they are all finished, but if they won, than there will be conflicts rising, the demons will refuse to stay in the edges of the world and would want to claim the human lands with their conditions, which the humans would refuse definitely, this was their biggest war yet it will not be the last.. therefore, each one of them decided to keep it to himself and not show any sign of hesitation or fear in front of the other, but they both knew they were faking, it was evident that they were now worrying about the same thing, the whereabouts of the ice queen...

With a deep sigh Henry chose to break the silence first, all the thoughts and scenarios abou the worst happening to the girl who stole his heart not to mention two of his most trusted soldiers and closest friends were driving him insane, and right now this demon was the only one who could give him some reassurance...

"I don't know" Eren spoke before Henry even opened his mouth to ask, causing him to raise an eyebrow in question...

"I don't know how is she, or what happened to her and the rest, she was supposed to get there three days ago if not earlier, my only explanation is that they were faced with some hard obstacles on the way"...

A deep frown settled between Henry's eyebrows, what he had just heard was not encouraging in the slightest, it only intensified his worries that he no longer cared to hide them, his hands clenched in tight fists making his knuckles white, he released multiple sighs trying to come out with an impossible solution...

"She will be okay, don't over worry" Eren spoke after sometime, if it was another time he would have find great amus.e.m.e.nt in tormenting the human king mentally, injecting venomous thoughts in his head and watch him suffer, but something inside him had changed, since the last time he saw Sara, the heart he didn't know to be there in the first place was shattered into small particles cutting him from the inside, he was no longer the evil proud demon lord he used to be even if he tried to show as one, he was just a broken man who lost the only woman, no the only person he ever loved, but not before breaking her as well...

"What do you mean? "

"She did not become the lady of the frozen edge with a finger snap, she had to climb her way up, and trust me when i say, if she survived that climb, not even the gods can finish her, so rest assured, we have to have faith in her" Eren couldn't believe the things he just said, not because they were unbelievable but because they came out of his mouth, it was very out of character for him to praise someone let alone comfort another...

'What did you do to me, my fair lady? ' he thought...

While Eren was secretly whimpering over the loss of his beloved, Henry was praying for the safety of his, they may not be lovers but he had strong afections for her, she pulled his heart toward her in such an effortless way that he couldn't even fight it back, she was not the prettiest, on the contrary her beauty could have been considered as ordinary for others, but to him, she was this fiery spirit, strong and free and radiant, she was not the fair maiden who would hide herself for him to find her, nor the fragile princess who's heart belonged to him only, nor the delicate butterfly who only knew her capture and lived for him, no, Rima was a storm, one that would put herself out there and cause chaos to his sleeping heart forcing him to wake and shiver for her, that was his girl, the ice queen with the very soft lips...

Not wanting his girl out there alone facing dangers while he just stood in the safety of the hood, he turned to the sad demon facing him with eyes filled with determination, but before he could utter a word, the demonic gate infront of them opened itself....
