The Princess And The Demon

"Unlike you i didn't see the symbols in the girl's dreams, but in one of the very old scrolls our Yuren family has" Henry finally spoke

"What does it contain?" Rima asked intrigued by the revelation, after all, the Yoren dynasty was something every demon knew about since it was them who lead the fight against the demons for the gods, the name wasn't so sweet on their tongues but right now it sounded like a lullaby in their akward situation...

Unknown to the three of them, the water under the island was shifting, slowly to not gain their attention but something malicious was gathering around the squad of demons who made it alive, unfortunately for them, they were all too focus on what would the human king reveal they failed to notice the threat not a few feet away from them...

"Our way inside" Henry said with a grin, who knew that the very rare moments his father spent educating him about their Yuren dynasty would turn this helpful, once in a while, his father would sit him down with his siblings and tell them a story about the great war, how the Yuren dynasty led humanity toward victory, how they forbid the dark creatures from dirtying the holy lands, how he would show them some very old scrolls, so old they were spread open and preserved in tightly shut glass boxes, the writing on the scrolls was fading but he still recognized the same weird symbols...

"These symbols were actually the creation of humans, more specifically, my Yoren family, didn't you find it weird that there were onlh those human eating creatures on the sea but not any thing specially made to hold back the demons? i mean after all they are the real threat, and even though they did attack humans you clearly stated that they were dragged by humans scent, that can only leave us with the presumption that the Gods were more worried about the humans, the question now is why? "

"Isn't it obvious? we were not able to walk these lands before because of the creation energy" Rima said a bit confused

"That goes for the purebloods like yourself, but for a hybrid like me, i can still walk the grounds if i pushed my human blood up, i just cannot use my demon powers at all" Eren stated, slowly getting what Henry was talking about...

"Correct, even with the creation energy, i am well sure that the gods are way to paranoid to be satisfied with that, but still, they didn't bother to set any defenses, which means they were sure that the demons won't be able to pass somepoint, and my guess is, this point is nothing but this rock here"
