The Resurrecting Overlord

Pain... pain clouded Dong Xian's mind as tears dropped on him. His body started to go limp as Da Ming's soul left the body of Dong Xian. His memories here flashed through his mind as his host died.

Da Ming woke up. "Bloody Astral Plane! Am I back there again?" He complained to himself as he saw his surroundings. Surprisingly, he knew that this place was very familiar. Now where was he again? He tried hard to remember before an image flashed through his mind. He gasped in shock as he realised where this place was. It was the "Soul Bell"! He knew that carrying that bell would pay off someday.

However, he moved onto the next immediate objective. Finding a suitable body to possess! It would be meaningless if he stayed in the bell but did not enjoy the benefits of having a body. However, there was hardly a chance that anyone would hold the bell long enough for him to possess that person. This only made Da Ming more determined. If he could not even possess a person now, then he would be too embarrassed to even leave the "Soul Bell" to go back to the astral plane.

He decided to search around in the "Soul Bell". Maybe he would find something that would let him obtain a body. He scanned his eyes around the place. There was the hard, marble-textured floor he had waken up from and a door with shining light bursting from it. Strange. That was the only word he could come up for the door. This was because he did not see it earlier and on top of the door was a title. Da Ming could not believe his eyes. He rubbed and pinched himself, which he later thought was foolish because he could not feel himself.

Still, the title was really written as "Merchant System Shop" Da Ming was surprised as he thought that the system shop would not apply to him once he was in spirit form. He asked the system, "Why is the Merchant shop still here?" The system answered using a notice,[Features that has been unlocked will remain unlocked permanently.] Da Ming understood the system's intentions in letting him have the Merchant shop. It was offering him a way out of his predicament. After all, he was a transmigrator. Even if the system could not be too overpowered, it would not want its host to die.

He was elated as he opened the "Merchant System Shop" door. The moment he entered, he could see the familiar sight of the the items in front of him.
