The Rise Of An Empire

In the opening that was made by both the Pei Kingdom and Liang clan. Five silhouette was trading blow after blow as their attacks becoming fiercer.

Clank! Clank!

Lu Liang who have started to fight against the four Pei Kingdom soldiers for half an hour could be seen moving around nimbly while defending against attacks from all direction as he read the opponents movement. At the same time Lu Liang would accurately counterattack his opponents without any errors. His movement was elegant, his face was calm, and his image is being portrayed to others as steady and firm.

The longer Lu Liang fight, the more fluid his movements become while his opponent are getting sloppier in their attacks. Seeing this Lu Liang immediately push his advancement even harder without giving the four Pei Kingdom soldiers any time to breath.

Loud sound of metal clashing, scratching the edges of each other, and sparks flying could be seen everywhere as Lu Liang continuously push back the four soldiers.

By now the two forces have separated a good distance from each other as the fight was getting more intense. The Liang clan army have also arrived fully equipped and in formation. But loud cheers could still be heard from the Liang clan side every time Lu Liang counters the Pei Kingdom Soldiers.

"The young master is awesome!"

"I know! He is fighting against four soldiers and still gaining an advantage!"

"Go young master! Beat them up!"

Hearing the Liang clan warriors cheering for him Lu Liang thought 'I will show them our power, the power of every soul inside the Liang clan!'

Over at the Pei Kingdom side Ti Teng, Vu Hoa, the crown prince, and second prince is watching the fight with a frown. They originally want to capture Lu Liang in order to force Gao Liang to bend the knee and use the chance to remove the Liang clan from power in the region. But the emergence of Lu Liang monstrous power and talent change everything.

Ti Teng: "your Highness, that Lu Liang must not live"

Vu Hoa: "I agree with Minister Ti Teng, that boy is so young but he is already this strong then once he grow up. The Liang clan will have another valiant general beside Gao Liang."

Second Prince: "He will be the bane of our Pei Kingdom sooner or later."

Crown Prince: "Pick one of our best archer and have him hide within the troops at the front then take the shoot to kill. Also signal those four useless trash up there to get ready as well to finish Lu Liang off in case the archer fail to kill that little bastard immediately. We will move to the back as well and get ready to leave right away.

Ti Teng: "yes your highness."

Unknowing to the danger that would head his way, Lu Liang was finishing up his battle with the four Pei Kingdom soldiers.

Griping the spear tightly Lu Liang hit the ground as hard as he can that blow a large amount of dust into the air.

Up until now Lu Liang have only been using his spear mastery, physical power, and kung fu forms to fight the Pei Kingdom soldiers. It help him refine the skill to the next level that allow them to move more fluidly. But now with the cover of the dust in the air, it is time to use silence of the lake to finish off these four Pei Kingdom soldiers once and for all.

"Silence of the lake!"

After using the skill Lu Liang feel his body gotten lighter that allow him to move about silently while being calm like the still surface of a lake blocking out all external distraction.

Moving behind the first soldier silently in the cover of dust Lu Liang attacked.

Soldier 1: "Arrggghh"

Successfully piercing both of his legs and immobilizing the first Pei Kingdom soldier. Lu Liang move to the next target not too far away and with the same method Lu Liang took out the Pei Kingdom soldiers in a blink of an eye. After the dust disappear, only Lu Liang was still standing with his spear still within his grip while his back is facing the Liang clan.

Turning around to face the Liang clan. Lu Liang rise his spear ever so slowly but during this time thousands of heartbeats could faintly be heard, strong griping of weapons sound could be heard, and excitement can be seen on everyone faces.

The moment that spear reach the sky and what Lu Liang said next cause the entire heaven to shake along with it.

Lu Liang shout with all his might while holding his spear facing the heavens "Long live the Liang clan! We are victorious!"

One, two, three…..all the way up to thousands of Liang clansmen and civilian started to raise their weapon up to the sky with vigor and passion in their eyes while chanting.

"LONG LIVE THE LIANG CLAN!"

"LONG LIVE THE LIANG CLAN!"

Among the cheering of thousands a small vibration in the air could be felt if one really pay attention which are coming from the Pei Kingdom side.

"Arrrgghhh" Lu Liang staggered as the sudden shock of pain being release into his body. Confused Lu Liang look at where the pain coming from and as he Look to the side where his heart is Lu Liang could see an arrow head piercing through his body.

Clang!

Feeling himself falling down towards the ground, Lu Liang immediately stab the spearhead into the ground and use the end of the spear to keep his body stand straight.

Using this opportunity the four Pei Kingdom soldiers ignore their injuries and jump at Lu Liang with their weapons to finish him off like the crown prince commanded. But what they fail to understand is that the Liang are united and their warriors are fiercely loyal.

Just as the weapons about to reach Lu Liang, a young man appears with sword and shield in hand blocking the incoming attacks then counters the enemy.

Clank! Puchi!

Finishing off the four soldiers simultaneously, the young man swipe the blood off his sword before commenting "actually dare to harm my lord, I sentenced you four to death."

In a bad shape Lu Liang try his best and manage to squeeze out a question "Who are you?"

Immediately kneeling on the ground with one knee after hearing what Lu Liang said. The young man announced loudly "I am the young lord shield, Dong Liang!"
