"Just ignore the principal's childish acts.", Rose said with a funny pouting face.

"Sure. I didn't mind that."

"You go first.", Sun said while trying to act a bit more m.a.t.u.r.e in front of the girl of his dreams.

"Thank you. I saw your fight earlier. You really improved a lot! I don't think that I was as good as you back then.", Rose praised Sun.

"Really? You think so? Your Phoenix power is basically cheating! You can instantly cure wounds and recover from poison effects!"

"Hehe. Well, I suppose so."

"But hey, I did not expect you to be the student council president. You must be really popular here."

"Just mediocre. There are six more famous students on campus. I don't know if you have heard of them already."

"Nope, can you tell me?"

"Well, there are seven students who excel extraordinary at some aspects regarding magic power. I'm the seventh member of "THE SEVEN", I excel at healing - that's why. But other members are very unique, not only in magic but also their personality. They are all very nice, I could introduce you to them some other time. You're very strong and unique yourself, so I think they'll like you!", Rose smiled again.

Sun was charmed by that and found her very beautiful tonight. If she participated in a beauty competition, she would have instantly won. Her nature was innocent, yet had a slight portion of a fox spirit.

Sun and Rose were talking about more trivial subjects when Evan spotted them.

"Oh, Sun?! *hicks* The heck are you talking to a beautiful lady like her? How did you manage that? Wait- isn't she the person from before? The student's representative?"

"Yes, that me and who are you if I may ask?", Rose attitude grew colder as she turned to Evan.

"Well, this guy here is my roommate, Evan Waal. He's a bit drunk, so I'll bring him to the house."

"Oh, well. He looks a bit overwhelmed. Do you mind if I tag along?", Rose asked Sun.

"Sh*t! This is one of the moments I need to play cool. I'm gonna be alone with Rose. I might pull it out this time!", Sun thought on the inside.

"Sure. I would appreciate that. You want to take a walk after I put this guy to sleep?"

"Hhm? Are you trying to hit on me ?", Rose tried to tease Sun a bit, as she already knew his intention. Sun's face was too obvious, but he hadn't noticed it yet.

"Wha-? No, no! I mean, get some fresh air! The party is filled with people, so the C02 content is high. Tonight is also clear and we can see the stars, so that's why. Hehe, no ulterior moves...", Sun's face turned red like a tomato.

"Oh come on. Just shut up!"

"Hehe, I'm sorry, just wanted to tease you a little. Sure we can go on a walk."

They left the party and went to the boy's dormitory. After a quick stop at Sun's dorm for getting Evan to bed, they started to walk towards the southern side of the school. A breeze of cold air made it temperature go down a little.

Rose started to feel a bit cold, so she tried to use her arm to warm up herself. Sun saw that and put his jacket on Rose.

"Here, you're feeling cold, aren't you? Maybe this was a bad idea.", Sun made an apologetic face.

"No worries. Thank you. It's very gentleman-like of you.", Rose blushed and started to walk some steps ahead and turned around.

Sun was astonished by the image ahead of him.

A girl in a red dress, her hands behind her together. Her black her reflected the moonlight and everything seem like carved out of a painting.

"What's wrong? You're so quiet.", Rose asked.

"Nothing."

"Really?"

"Yeah", Sun tried to conceal his red face.

"Let's head back. Oh, wait - did I gave you my ID number?", Rose asked.

"No, I don't think so."

The ID number functions like a phone number, you can use it to communicate to the other party by either telepathy call or just messaging. It bases on a mix of electric and air magic. It connects to one's student ID on campus.

"Well, here is mine. You can call me anytime if you need help.", she said and put her finger on Sun's student ID, which is located on his c.h.e.s.t.

Being touched by her made Sun feel a certain warmth, but he wasn't able to tell what it actually was.

"Do you need me to walk you back?", Sun asked.

"No worries. The school campus is safe, but I appreciate the thought.", she laughed again.

In Sun's ears, the sound of her laugh was like the moonlight and a bird's song. Every time Sun heard it, he felt motivated and happy. It made his day.

The next day, Sun got ready for class. It was officially the start of his first year at Esperia Magic School. He wondered what kind of people his classmates will be. Since the roommates are also sorted by classes, Evan and Edward are also in the same class as Sun.

There are five classes à 12 students each and Sun already knew two of them. The Class 1A is ranked the best class from all the other freshman classes. The best of the best from the top scorers are selected and put together into one class in order to make them improve further and faster.

The Classroom of 1A is located in the northern side like all freshman classes, but it can access more resources than other classes - this world's rank is based on strength, wealth and merit after all.

After entering, they noticed that everyone was already sitting. The three quickly found a place to sit down.

"Alright Class 1A! My name is Rea de Camille and I will be your homeroom teacher. Pleased to meet you all. You're the best class this year, so don't think that I'll go easy on you guys. Being the best class also meat to put the most effort into developing your skills! Remember that!", a high pitched voice came from the behind of the teacher's desk.

"Uhm, Teacher, we can't see you...", a guy called out.

"Oh, my bad.", the sound of a moving chair sounded through the classroom and a small person climbed up.

"So, she really is my homeroom teacher...", Sun thought and let off a wry smiled.

"Here I am! Let me introduce you to the school system!", Rea gestured with her hands and a screen appeared out of air loaded with information.
