The monsters that attacked me were quite strong but it was only strong because I was too weak at the moment. Having to deal with these guys are troublesome due to my low leveled body but luckily, with my killings, my level rose to level 2 though and even though I can't see any stats of mine in the panel, I can feel the power within my body erupt the moment I became a level 2 guy.

The carcasses are all gathered inside the sack that I just prepared but due to the amount and the heaviness of the sack, I could barely move it. Still, with determination I pull it hard enough that I manage to move it slowly. The monsters did not even try approaching me due to my cloak drenched in monster's blood. Monsters do not dare to approach as they saw me handle the carcasses after they are killed by me.

My skill in [Dagger Mastery] managed to rise to level 3 after a fight and I managed to heal myself using my ability [Heal] resulting to it leveling to level 2. The [Frigid Ice] also leveled up to level 3 since I keep on using it when I wanted to defend against the enemies. It hurts a lot though whenever I feel a tinge of pain in my head, I just decided to take a rest. I realized that this is some sort of after effect due to the mana exhaustion.

Whenever I rested my energy returned once again. So it must be the right explanation.

With these amount of monsters killed, there is a chance to earn lots of money out of this. I just hope that I can earn a good way to determine that I am not cheated in my prey once I reach back home.

Along the way, there are lots of herbs that brushed my skin and everytime those herbs made contact to my skin, a panel appears on my mind. Then suddenly, while walking, an herb appears that made me stop on my tracks.

[Green Bitter Leaf]

Type: Medicinal Herb

Uses: Ingredients for variety of potion types

Description: Its Versatility to be mixed by other herbs make it really useful for making medicines. It can also be considered as very potent that makes it really high sought by alchemists.

Hey, this looks really great! This could sell a lot of copper or silver if sold! I scanned the whole ground if which herb makes me see that panel. I touched the leaves of the plants one by one and when I saw touched a leaf that seems too green and ragged than the other leaves. And the same panel appeared on my field of vision.

"Gotcha!"

I observed the plants that resembles this and then I realized that this plant is plentiful in this area. I grabbed my dagger and began to cut off the Green Bitter Leaf out and put them on my bag. If my assumption is correct, I can at least earn 2 to 3 gold on this amount.

It took me quite a while before I managed to harvest the Green Bitter Leaf out. I did not harvest all of them and left a few amount so that it can germinate and can grow more. Over harvest might result to it to disappear in this area.

After harvesting the necessary herbs, I continue to pull the sack out with all my strength. I estimated a few hours might be the amount of time I spent to pull out the whole sack out f he forest. Still, I am far from the store where I needed to sell these carcasses out so I continue to pull it out. Unlike when I was on the forest, pulling the sack is much more easier on the road. It did allow me to drag the sack more easily.

The people on the city look at me with strange looks seeing me pull a huge sack with stinky blood. but they did not stop me or block me since I was also covered in blood.

Not long after a series of grunting and pulling, I arrived on the store that process and buy monster carcasses. A burly guy appeared out of the store and when he saw me, his eyes shone.

"Hey, kid! Are you going to sell what is inside this sack?" he keeps on eyeing the sack.

"Yeah..." I answered while catching my breath. Its quite hard for me to keep on pulling it out.

"I see, then enter the store and negotiate the price with the guy inside, I will count out all the carcasses you brought," the burly guy smiled and took the sack out from my arms.

As he put the sack on his shoulders, he was surprised on its weight.

"Wow! This is heavy! How did you managed to pull it out?!"

He continue to bring it into the shop and I sighed due to the heavy burden that got taken away from me.

I entered the store and I saw a guy in his twenties with eye glasses and messy hair on the other side of the counter writing something. Due to my height as a child, I can only keep a few distance so that the guy can see me out.

He was still busy and did not notice me, but luckily, the burly guy who carried the sack out, entered the side door.

"Hey, boss! We have carcasses to buy!"

"Oh? From whom?"

"Its from the kid that just entered the store!" the burly man just said.

The guy in glasses look in front of him and saw me standing, with blood covered cloak of course.

"Is it you?"

"Yeah."

"Then come with me, we need to look at the monsters you have brought to us so far and negotiate the price," this guy said.

We entered the room where the sack I carried earlier were stored. I realized that it was a warehouse and at the same time, a slaughterhouse for monsters.

"What did he brought with us Bob?" he pulls out a notebook and a pen out on his pocket and look at the burly guy named Bob.

"He managed to hunt quite a lot. He got 6 Howling Man-Eater Monkeys, 5 Red Ring Snakes, 10 Red Eyed Rabbits and 7 Swift Pheasants," Bob tallied all of the monsters I just killed. Luckily, he did not exclude any monsters I just killed.

"I see, Howling Man-Eater Monkeys are 1 gold each, red ring snakes are 50 silvers each, 10 silver each red eyed rabbits, and 50 silver for swift pheasants. Totalling 24 gold and 50 silver," the glasses guy said and rip off the page of the notebook and give me the page with his scribblings and enter the store once again and returned carrying a bag of coins.

"If you want to bring us these kind of items, just go straight here in the slaughterhouse and Bob will take care of it," the glasses guy said.

"Are you not freaked out I am only a kid able to hunt these monsters out?" I asked.

"Nope, I don't since there are really prodigies in this world and having a kid hunt is nothing abnormal, if you have no more questions, then go now and skeddadle."

"I see, then where can I sell herbs?"

"Herbs huh, there is a shop across the street that deals with apothecary and alchemy ingredients buy and sell," and he returned to his shop without looking back.

The burly guy named Bob scratch his head before looking apologetically on me.

"Sorry about that, boss Murphy is always like that, anyway, nice doing business to you kid," he said before returning to his business.

I have no more business with them so I decided to go to the shop that the shop owner said to be dealing with herbs. But with this amount, I could barely get enough gold to fully pay for the debt. I hope this herbs can help me with that.
