The Talentless Sage

5 years has passed and I've still been wondering what happend. I, Axel - The Talentless Sage, when on my very last breath, felt something weird. The moment I closed my eyes, sounds of my parents started appearing.

I thought it was just life flashing before my eyes, but I was wrong. I was reborn back to when I was a child, intact with my memories from my past life.

In my past life, I've only unlocked through Copper Level 8. Opening my Spirit Sea was hard, it took me 40 years just to unlock it and the moment it did, no spirit energy was entering.

Unil now, I'm still struggling but with the help of a certain technique that I achieved long ago. In my years when I was talentless and at the age of 100, I was able to get ahold of a technique that forces the spirit sea to open; even with the best of my efforts, the spirit sea was already closed.

Though it took me 10 more years to unlock it, my magic sea finally started working again. It was slower than normal, I was still thankful back then.

And now, since I was a child, I've been cultivating this technique when I have the chance, the "Dragon Unbinding" Technique.

In the year I become twelve, I should be able to open up my Spirit Sea with the help of the priest's blood. For now, I'll just cultivate.

7 years later.

"Axel, rise and shine! It will be your opening ceremony!" Mom woke Axel up as she excitingly pulled away his blanket, "The priest is calling in for you."

Axel rubbed his eyes and sat on the bed for a short time, "I'll take my bath." Axel said as he stood up and grabbed his towel.

Mom who is happily watching at Axel will later know that his son, will soon be a living legend.

After doing his morning routine, Axel was slowly strolling through the village. He saw the same blacksmith and the same shop in his past life, he was relieved. In the distance, is the school for spirit-users; though it is small, it was a must in every village.

"Good morning Axel!" A girl's voice was heard on the distance.

Axel looked to see a girl with purple hair, waving at him happily, "Good moring too Selena." Axel also waved happily.

Selena, a girl with purple hair; who is a month older than him, already unlocked her Spirit Sea. She is an offensive-type Spirit user and though she might not know now, she will become one of the most terrifying Spirit-users in the future.

Selena then ran towards Axel, seemingly excited, "Hey hey Axel, good luck on your ceremony later!" Selena happily said as she jumped directly into Axel and hugged him.

Axel almost by the sudden hug by Selena. Axel smiled slightly, [She may be childish, but she was the the only one, besides my mom, to ever support me through that hard time.]

Axel pulled Selena off his c.h.e.s.t and said , "Don't be such a klutz, you know I almost fell" and pinched Selena's nose a little.

Selena covered her nose, since it is really a s.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e part of Selena's, "You stupid, you know I hate it when you do that!" She angrily said with arms crossed.

Alpheus laughed and jokingly said, "Cute." which made Selena blush and blow up.

"W-what are you saying!" Selena shouted as she waved her hands around the air in embarrassment. She immediately got so blushed, she had to cover her face, "Am I really that cute?" she said with a shy expression.

"Yeah." Axel smiled, "I got to go now!" he said and ran, waving his hands goodbye.

[Ever since I was called Talentless in my past life, you were the only one who supported and comforted me. I fell in love with you back then and even now. I promise, this time. I will protect you with all my being!] Axel thought furiously and ran towards the church

[In two years time, a horde of goblin will be attacking the village, which will leave you extremely hurt for a year. I must protect you at all cost!]

Arriving at the church, he stood before the huge church doors. Axel breathed out and said, "Here we go again" and opened the giant church doors.

The moment he opened it, his mom and the priest were the only one present. It's as told in the tradition that only parents and relatives are only present in the occasio., "She was already waiting, this is nostalgic." Axel muttered.

As he walked slowly towards the altar, the priest in white was already waiting.

Priest, are normal people, in which they are bestowed holy blood after they graduate on the way of God. Priest all come from the same academy in the capital, they are given a huge amount of money, in exchange of being a v.i.r.g.i.n for life.

If a priest breaks his vow, he will either die or in rare occasions, will turn into a spirit demon and lose conciousness; destroying everything in its path.

Axel lets out a big sigh, [Being a priest is a pain in the ass]. Axel arrived in front of the altar and was to remove his clothes, in request from the priest. It was also the same in the past life, though this time, it will be different.

He laid down on the altar, as the priest closed his eyes and chanted, "In the name of the Spirits, I bestow upon thee, my holy blood to the new generation of a Spirit-user - Axel Veromor."

He then picked up the dagger that was besides the altar and pokes his finger. A drop of blood then splattered on Axel's c.h.e.s.t. An orb then came out directly from Axel's c.h.e.s.t - It was the Spirit Sea itself.

Axel immediately lost conciousness.

Spirit Sea, who was naturally in color green but on Axel's case, it was a color that was rarely recorded and quite rare; Axel's spirit sea was white.

Though this never happened the last time, since his Spirit Sea didn't come out. Axel already knew that his Spirit Sea will be white, thanks to his past life.

The priest was in shock, trying to understand the obvious yet mysterious pattern on the Spirit,

"This is... an offensive-type?"
