The Talentless Sage

The priest was shocked; for the first time in his life, it is his first time to see a white Spirit Sea. Though it is written all over the Spirit Sea that it's an offensive-type, he was still stupified by the situation.

"I will return the Spirit Sea, It is now open." The priest said to Axel's mom. Though Axel's mom looked like she's calm, inside, she is already shouting in joy and was in shock at the same time.

Axel's mom was proud. She was all alone with his son ever since his husband died from a spirit attack, defending the village. Although she was in the Copper Level, she was only a supportive-type, capable of healing the injured.

The white Spirit Sea then slowly fell down back to Axel's c.h.e.s.t and was absorbed by his body. Slowly and surely, Axel woke up and slightly muttered, "Is it done?"

Axel never tried the ceremony properly from his past life, so this is entirely new to him. If a ceremony were to fail, the Spirit Sea would not come out and the user would not faint, so he felt a little weirded out.

He jumped out of the altar and wore his clothes back, he looked at the priest and asked, "Can you tell me what type of Spirit-user I am?"

Though Axel already knew what type he is, he would need to act so he isn't seen as someone suspicious. "Y-yes, you're an offensive type." The priest mumbled his word, probably from shock.

Because of the nervous priest, he predicted that he still has his white Spirit Sea from his past life. He gave out a big sigh and went back to his mother and hugged him, "I finally did it mom." He happily said.

[My Spirit Sea is white, not because it's extraordinary but because it is the opposite of it. It halved my cultivation speed and spirit energy, so I need to work hard.]

Axel, was happy and made his childhood dream from his past life come true, to be a spirit-user!

While at home.

Axel was already sitting down with legs crossed and both his hands together, forming a relax position. He was already starting to cultivate and attempt to level up his Spirit Sea as long as possible

When a Spirit Sea is unlocked, all starts in the spirit energy being only one. Though Spirit Sea may sound easy, it is really complicated and you will all know it in the future.

Because Axel's spirit sea is colored-white, he will need to cultivate a certain technique. It's one of th most rarest cultivating technique, in which if a normal Null spirit sea were to cultivate; it would take his cultivation from one to a hundred in just a year.

Its name is "Heavenly Spirit Boost" technique.

From its name, it only aborbs the Heavenly Spirit Energy and boosts it by 50%. There are 3 types of Spirit Energy: The Normal Energy, The Heavenly Energy and the Impure Energy.

Heavenly Energy is a special kind of spirit energy, in which has five normal energy compressed in one. It is called heavenly because if one were to absorb it, it nourishes not just their spiritual sea; but also their physical body. It is usually really hard to absorb, even just absorbing once every three years is already an accomplishment

Impure Energy on the other hand, is the most vicious energy to absorb. If aborbs in an abnormal dose, it will turn a huma into a Spirit Demon. Most cultivation techniques nowadays prohibit the Impure energy to be absorbed.

Though there are forbidden cultivation techniques that harness the power of the Impure Energy. The people I met on my past life, those people were half-demons and half human. I must not encounter them at any costs.

While cultivating until it was night, Axel only leveled his energy by 1. Axel made a big sigh, "I know this would happen." Though he was discouraged, it was not enough to give up.

Those times where he travelled all over the world. At first, the village were not supportive of it, telling him that he would die if he were even to set foot outside the village; they were wrong.

At the middle of the night, Axel was still on his legs crossed. He was still absorbing the heavenly energy arround him though his spirit energy didn't rise yet. If he were to have a normal spirit sea, he would have tripled it.

Axel trained until the sun rose up on the due east, he was still cultivating. Even though he hadn't sleep, cultivating properly makes your physical body in rest.

[Besides, only the body is tired.] Axel muttered thoughtlessly, [Why did I think of that phrase?]

A knock then came out from his door, "Rise and shine-..." mom appeared from the door but was shocked when Axel was cultivating, "What are you doing?" mom asked.

Axel, who was disturbed in his cultivation, opened his eyes and arrogantly said, "Mom, can you atleast knock and wait for my permission to enter?"

Axel's mom is kinda overprotective and spoils Axel everyday, "Didn't I knock?" mom frownly said.

"Did you forget the permission part?" Axel said in with one eye closed. He stood up and hugged his mother "Don't forget the permission part..." he happily said.

Axel's mom was always shocked at how m.a.t.u.r.e Axel was for his age but mom did not always mind it. She also sometimes think that her son is genius. Little does she know, he is.

Axel stopped midway and looked at his mom, "Mom, good morning." He said in a heart-warming smile.

Axel's mom was in thought, [He is still my little baby] she mumbled with blush.

Sometimes later, Axel left and prepared for one of his past-life childhood dream to come true; attend the Spirit-User Class!

Axel walked slowy and waved his mom goodbye and his mom waved back.

[Although I know what they will teach, I need to act normal] Axel thought with a pain in his mind. He doesn't want to be teached by a lowly teacher some lowly magic.

Even though Axel was a kid again. He still has his attitude and dignity of a legend from his past life.
