The Tyrant Gentle Husband

"Luke," I tried calling him several times, but I only got his silence. Luke seemed to be in a daze without knowing his surroundings anymore. We arrived home at 7 P.M, so it was not bright anymore. It is winter, and the air was colder than any other night. I couldn't let Luke got a fever because we stood outside our house for more than one hour. Luke even wore thin clothes on his body without care about the weather today.

"Luke," I said while kneeled on one knee in front of him. I shook his arm softly, but he didn't react at all like a mannequin. 

"Luke, let's come inside, okay?" I tried hard to communicate with him, but he still didn't give me any response at all. I helped him stand, and he stood like a doll that got controlled by his owner. I chose to bring him inside, and I saw no one waiting for us inside. I could see Lisa asked another butler to go to their room, and grandpa Sebastian looked at me worriedly.

Granpa Sebastian is a butler from Vander's family, and all of his family's line served Vander's family from along time ago. Luke's great-grandpa saved the Sebastian family's line from slavery during the war, later Sebastian family's line felt grateful and wanted to serve Vander's family with p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e. Grandpa Sebastian was the one who took care of Luke when he was still a baby, and Luke also had a close relationship with grandpa Sebastian.

After he moved out of his family's house, grandpa Sebastian followed Luke to move out, as, for grandpa, Luke is the same as his real grandchildren. Grandpa Sebastian is only fifty years old this year, but he looks like a young man around thirty-eight years. Grandpa always concerned about the real Elena's relationship with his young master, and grandpa wanted to say something about Elena to Luke. 

But he was afraid that his relationship with Luke would destroy. Because, at that time, Luke already had a conflict with his parents because of his marriage. There was no one on Luke's side, so grandpa Sebastian only kept everything inside his heart and stood on his young master's.

I saw that grandpa Sebastian worried so much about our relationship, because it was only a short time that our relationship became better, later we had a big fight like this, he worried that we would divorce. Of course, he was worried, we quarreled in a loud voice, and it was impossible to now know what were we talking about, because all of the buttler in the house were not deaf.

I could guess that after this, grandpa would tell mom about our quarrel. I meant my mother in law because all of you know that the real Elena's relationship with her mother had a conflict. The most important thing that I forgot that Luke rarely cried even while he was still a baby, it was the first time grandpa Sebastian saw how ugly his young master face right now, swollen, and full of tears. It looked like I was the one who bullied Luke right now.

Of course, he was not wrong that I bullied Luke, but it made me embarrassed. I led the way to our master bedroom because I sensed that if I didn't lead him to our bedroom, he didn't have the strength to go alone by himself, so I held his hand tightly. I was scared that he would lose balance if I let him walk by himself.

I never saw him this paralyze, I didn't know that my words would get this impact on him, because, along this time, I felt that his love was not as deep as my love. I always wondered why did he change after he woke up from his comma. Luke used to ignore Elena, but why did he care about me after he woke up? It was strange, but I didn't dare to ask about it, because we were not that close to speaking openly about our relationship.

I successfully brought him to our bedroom without any difficulty, and I led him to our bed and made him sat down on it. Now, I realized how pale his face and his lips like there were no blood on his face. He still sobbed in a low voice.

"Luke, look at me please," I softly spoke to him. I held his hands tightly. 

"Luke, please look at me, let's talk about our problem, okay?" I softened my voice, and Luke finally looked at me after I tried as hard as I could. I felt like talking to a deaf person because he didn't give me any reaction.

I could see his sadness from his expression, and Luke never had so many feelings on his face, but now, I could see his desperation and helplessness like walking in the darkness without light. My heart melted when I saw him like this. I was angry at him, and one of the reasons is the real Elena's thought that she kept for a long time tormented her, and made me reveal so many emotions.

"Luke, I am sorry to make you sad, and I....," before I could finish my words, Luke interrupted my words: "I was wrong, Elena, please forgive me, I was wrong, I was the one who is wrong, you didn't do anything to me, you don't have to apologize to me," his voice was full of sobbing voice. Luke's reaction was worse than I thought. He hugged me tightly as he scared I would run away from him and left him alone.

"Luke, listen to me, I was wrong to get angry at you so bad before, but you didn't do anything wrong, it was just that we didn't meet in the right time and place, we...," I couldn't continue again because luke cut me off: "No, I don't want a divorce, Elena I knew that I was wrong, but please don't leave me, Elena, I beg you," I saw Luke kneeled with both his knee on the ground in front of me while holding my hands with his body shivering so much.

I was sad, and my tears fell without me knowing. I said to Luke: "Luke, stand up," but he shook his head vigorously, then I softened my voice again and asked him: "Luke, stand up please, I beg you."

This time, luke reluctantly followed my words. Luke stood up with his head looked down, and he looked like a big pitiful puppy who will get abandoned by his owner. How dared I cast off my big puppy.

"Luke, look at me," I held his chin with my index finger softly until our eyes met. 

"Luke, listen to me. I did admit that I was angry at you, but I never meant to leave you, how come I left you alone outside with female lion who stared at you every time, you are mine, and they can't have you, and I am the only one who can have a big puppy-like you," I said with a domineering pose.

Luke saw Elena's domineering pose, and his heart relieved a lot, and he pitifully said: "Really?" Luke looked at Elena with sadness in his eyes. 

"Do you think I am not serious? Look how serious my expression right now, we did lose our three years together. We can make new memories together, do not make the past a reason to worsen our relationship, and let's make the past as our reason to maintain our happiness in the future." I said with certainty in my tone.

"Why do we have to quarrel with each other because of the past? Why do we break up because of the past? It doesn't make sense, I did angry at you and teased you a little bit, but I never had any reason to leave you, why did I let go something that already came to my palms? Hey, I am not stupid. Be ready, Luke, because I am a possessive girlfriend, and I won't let you look at another girl beside me," I said with an arrogant tone.

"I love you, Elena," He hugged me tightly in his arms.

"You made me scared for a moment, I thought that I would lose my precious person from my life," He added with sobbing voice. Luke was still sad because of Elena's last words to him. 

I hugged him back and said: "How come I let any other woman touched your body? I was the only one who can touch your body freely as much as I want."

"You only liked my body?" Luke looked at me with sadness.

"Are you kidding, your body didn't mean anything if you were not the one who has it, what I love is you, so everything you have I like all of them," I said with a cheerful tone.

"If we have any problem in the future, let's discuss it calmly, we are not a child anymore to use anger in our tone and turn away with a cold shoulder, Let's don't have cold war, please," I added while hiding my face on Luke's warm c.h.e.s.t.

"I promise, Elena, please don't talk about separation anymore," He said.

"Of course not, you are the most precious person in my life, and I didn't want to leave you," I said

We hugged each other tightly without breaking away because of our low mood and emotion tonight.
