The Universal Villain

"What's going on here." Walking out of the dome-shaped crater filled with sand along with Ganju, Ichigo felt something was off. By the time they had entered the Seirtei, although the situation was better than before, there were still a large number of Shen's spheres left within the Seirtei.

"Something isn't right here. The Soul Reapers should have been alerted the moment we broke through the Shakonmaku." Walking slowly, the two of them looked around before the silence was broken. "So, Ichigo, you have finally arrived." Hearing Shen's voice Ichigo drew hit Zanpakuto which was on his back and turned around only to see none was there.

Ganju who also heard the voice was surprised to see how Ichigo reacted. "Where are you!" Ichigo yelled while looking around for Shen. 'So he still can't see me even when I move at this speed what a shame.' "I got bored waiting for you, so I decided to have a little fun." To Ichigo, Shen's voice was echoing from all around, which only made him more cautious.

"In any case, im glad your here I can finally see just how much stronger you've become." Shen summoned his nearby spheres. Watching this crimson balls suddenly appear around Ichigo and Ganju immediately prepared to defend themselves. As the spheres surrounded the two of them, Shen revealed himself standing in the air.

Turning his head, he spoke down to Ichigo in a cold voice. "Ichigo you even brought your friends with you how nice. Maybe I should visit them?" The moment Shen finished speaking Ichigo felt the threat in his tone and exploded. "Don't you dare touch them!" He dashed towards Shen swinging Zengetsu with full force only for it to be intercepted by a sphere.

"Get out of my way!" Slashing downwards the sphere exploded, sending Ichigo to the ground recovering as he landed. "I would be more careful if I were you." The smoke created from the explosion morphed around Shen as he lowered his barrier. "Don't worry, all you have to do is make sure you get to them before I do anything."

Shen disappeared from view leaving Ichigo and Ganju with his spheres. Only a while after Shen left the spheres fully activated and begun their onslaught against the two of them. "Damit, they surrounded us." At that moment the two of them were slightly separated as Ganju jumped on top of a wall.

"Senpen Banka!" Reaching into his back pouch, he pulls out seven Scorch Balls throwing them into the group of spheres causing a kamikaze sphere to explode, creating a chain reaction and a massive explosion blowing away the other laser-shooting spheres.

With his group dealt with, he ran over to help Ichigo who was currently getting bombarded by lasers to the point, he could barely block them all. "Damit these things never end!"

He quickly dashed back before filling his Zanpakuto with Reiatsu. "HYAA!" Ignoring the kamikaze spheres, he swings his blade forwards causing a tsunami of Reiatsu to engulf the entire area in front of him destroying the spheres in the process. Slightly out of breath, Ichigo sighed seeing all of the spheres had been wiped out.

"Ichigo are you alright? I thought you might need some help, but it seems like you got this." Ichigo put his Zanpakuto back on his back as he looked towards the direction Shen had left. "We need to find the others quick if he gets to them before we do..." Ichigo paused his sentence. "Right." Ganju agreed although he didn't know much about Shen just from that encounter he could tell he was dangerous.

As for Shen, he was currently looking for Yoruichi's group. He didn't know exactly where they were and was extending his senses to there utmost limits. The moment Uryu, Orihime, and Yoruichi landed, Shen's spheres greeted them.

"Orihime lets go we need to stay hidden and find the others." Uryu who was shooting down Shen's spheres left, and right said as they continued to run. "Right" Orihime replied quickly moving out of the way. "This is strange something like this had never happened within the Soul Society before."

Yoruichi, in her black cat form, felt the captain's spiritual pressure as they had almost all released their Shikai's. "The moment this crisis ends, it won't take long for them to turn their attention to us we need to hurry and regroup then we can rescue Rukia."

"Im afraid not." Shen had been searching for the three of them for over an hour luckily they were busy fighting against his spheres which kept them in one spot long enough for him to finally find them. "I've been trying to find you three for a while."

"It's you!" Uryu was the first one to recognise Shen and immediately turned his aim towards him firing a barrage of arrows. The moment the arrows came within a specific range of Shen, they shattered as if they were hitting a wall. "I knew these spheres seemed familiar," Uryu said seeing that his attack was ineffective.

Seeing Shen fully both Yoruichi and Orihime both recognised Shen, as well due to Ichigo, telling them after there encounter in the Rukon district. "Uryu what do we do we weren't expecting him to be here." Orihime didn't expect Shen to be in the Seirtei despite what Ichigo had said to them she still didn't know much. 'So this is the person Urahara told me about. But how did he get into Soul Society? Unless...'

"How did you get into Soul Society what did you do to Urahara?" Yoruichi asked Shen who halted the advance of his spheres. Shen was confused for a moment? 'Urahara why is she asking about that? Well, whatever I'll use it.'

"I paid him a little visit after you all left the Human World if you want to find out..." Raising his hand towards the three of them as energy gathered in his palm. "You can go ask him..." As Shen's spheres were dispersed the Ki, he used to create them returned to him adding that on to his already fast power regen he had more than enough to spare.

"Move!" Yoruichi yelled to Uryu and Orihime who quickly moved out of the way as Shen fired a beam forward. The sheer power was apparent as the entire area they stood on shook as the ground cracked. After a pause, a massive explosion appeared creating a large cloud of smoke and fire as the shockwave ripped up that entire area of the Seirtei it was noticed immediately by not only Ichigo and Ganju but the nearby Soul Reapers as well.

"How are we suppose to fight against that." Orihime felt her legs give out slightly only to be caught by Uryu, who was also in shock. Every time he would meet Shen, he would be even stronger than before.

'Oops... So much for being incognito.' Shen wasn't anxious about the ruckus he knew the other captains still had there hands full even if they were dispatching of his little blockades quickly. Yoruichi saw the destructive power of Shen and was immediately shocked. 'This is... None of them are ready for a threat like this.'

After that little show, Shen could sense Ichigo and Ganju increased there speed heading straight for his location. 'Looks like that was a little bit too big to be a hint but whatever.' Shen stared down at Uryu and Orihime who had just avoided death, not counting Yoruichi due to the fact she could have easily avoided that if her form didn't hinder her.

"Well looks like I'll have to end our little meeting here sadly. But don't worry ill be seeing you around." Shen wasted no time in getting out of there although he didn't mind attracting a little attention he did overdo it.

'Gotta save the good stuff for the finale after all.'
