The Universal Villain

"Hmm. With this news in mind, we have entered a state of emergency! All captains will report to there divisions and defend the Seiretei at all costs. All Soul Reapers up to the level of captain shall have the right to bear their Zanpakuto. Now then, this meeting is dismissed!" With the Head Captains words falling onto all the captains, they quickly dispersed.

While the meeting was in progress, Shen had decided he gave them enough time. "Let the rain of XP pour in." At that moment, all the spheres he had created activated. The Soul Reapers, who were getting used to the spheres and started ignoring them, heard an explosion in the distance. "What's going on?"

"Hey, look!" Another Soul Reaper pointed to one of the spheres rushing towards them at high speeds. "What's going on with these things?" The Soul Reapers still had no sense of urgency until the sphere made contact with one of them. An explosion went off in that instant blowing the Soul Reaper up, killing them instantly.

"AH!" A Soul Reaper had a hole appear in his body as one of Shen's spheres shot him straight through the c.h.e.s.t. The explosions continued to ring around the area as alarms started to go off. "We are under attack! The spheres have turned hostile everyone to your stations." Though constant messaging, it didn't take long for the Soul Reapers to finally understand what was happening and begin to defend themselves.

A woman with blond hair who was being surrounded by spheres deflected two lasers with her Zanpakuto before jumping out of the way as a kamikaze sphere rushed towards her exploding the moment it hit the ground. Using Flash Step, she appeared behind one of the laser shooting spheres and cut it in half, causing it to disperse.

Dodging another kamikaze sphere, she cut down another five only for more to arrive to take their places. "These things are so annoying!" Flash Stepping ontop of a wall placing her hand ontop her other hand, she spoke softly.

"Growl. Haineko!"

Suddenly her Zanpakuto's blade started to fade, becoming a type of ash. Moving her hilt, she controlled the ash as it flew around her blocking the kamikaze spheres while destroying the laser shooting ones. "Now. Neko Rinbu!"

The Ash that was being controlled started to swirl, covering the entire area. Every piece of ash was like a blade cutting the surrounding area apart, causing the walls around to collapse as a massive cyclone was created, destroying all the nearby spheres. "Hmph, how do you like that."

Behind Rangiku, twenty or so kamikaze sphere approached her from behind without any warning. Rangiku only became unaware when she heard someone yell. "Sit Upon the Frozen Heavens! Hyorinmaru!" Rangiku turned around surprised to see a massive ice dragon blast fly in front of her blocking all of the explosions before looping around, turning into an enormous wave of ice that dispersed all remaining spheres in the area.

Toshiro appeared in front of Rangiku, who was shocked. "Captain? What are you doing here?" Ignoring the fact that Toshiro saved her life, she asked. "We captains have been given orders to protect the Seiretei, of course, that would include me as well," Toshiro replied, carefully checking the surroundings.

Due to the destructive power of the spheres being so low, the damage created by them wasn't easy to see at first. Still, if one could feel the spiritual pressure fluctuating as one by one, Soul Reapers were killed, it became clear battles were starting all over the Seiretei. "Let's go. We don't have much time." Toshiro rushed off, heading towards the direction a battle was taking place.

Following him, Rangiku disappeared from that area as well. "Well, it looks like the captains are starting to get involved in the battles." Shen was still observing everything from on top of the tower. Due to the massive amount of Soul Reapers not only being killed but being severely injured, he was raking in tons of XP to the point he had already leveled up. He felt his spheres starting to disperse at a much quicker rate than before. "Well, I cant make things too easy for them now, can I?"

Shen held out his hand, slowly curling it into a fist. 'Let's have some more fun.' "AHAHAHA!" Cutting down dozens of spheres in a single slash. Kenpachi laughed as he took on an army of them until a large group of laser shooting spheres broke off from the kamikaze ones. The Kamikaze spheres instantly rushed towards Kenpachi, the combined explosion causing a flash of blue light. "Heh, I actually felt that one."

Rubbing his shoulder, Kenpachi still had a smile on his face watching the spheres above starting to combine. "Eh?" The spheres continued to mix until finally, they became one massive sphere many times bigger than the others around them. Shen had hundreds of laser shooting spheres to combine into a behemoth, making them a lot more powerful and dangerous.

Without giving Kenpachi a chance to attack the massive sphere shot a large beam of energy at Kenpachi which caused him to be sent hurdling backward into two massive pillars, causing them slowly fall on top of him. After a few moments rumbling could be heard from underneath the rumble along with an echoing voice. "Now, things are getting interesting!" Saying that the rubble started to shake before exploding outwards into the sky, revealing Kenpachi, who's body was now covered in a layer of yellow Reiatsu.

Battles around the Seiretei continued, and captains had their hands full dealing with Shen's new behemoth sized spheres. "Scatter Senbonzakura." Byakuya was Flash Stepping constantly dodging lasers being fired at him continuously. The moment he disappeared from one location and appeared at another, his previous spot was barraged with explosions. Waving his hilt slightly thousands of cherry blossoms flew around the sky engulfing spheres and destroying them before eventually returning to him, forming his blade.

Pointing two fingers towards the sphere, Byakuya spoke. "Hado Number 4 Byakurai." A chain of lightning at insane speeds almost instantly piercing the sphere creating a hole in the middle of it. After the lightning disappeared, the sphere filled the gap in itself, becoming a sphere once again but was much smaller this time. "How troublesome."

These battles around the Seiretei continued for hours before suddenly something happened. Looking in the sky, Shen saw the barrier which protected the Seiretei flash brightly as something seemed to be trying to gain entry. 'Well, they finally arrived time flys when you are having fun.' Getting up, Shen watched as streaks of light fell into the Seirtei in different positions. 'I can't guarantee everything will be the same from now on however, the main focus that is Rukia's execution shouldn't change.'

"It's simply a matter of time."
