The Universal Villain

"AAHH" There was destruction everywhere as people ran around screaming. With buildings crumbling falling on top of one another along with fire beginning to spread, it was armageddon. "What the hell is happening." Ichigo, who was in his Shinigami form, was jumping roof to roof as he got closer to carnage — seeing more and more smoke begin to rise as he got closer, Ichigo had never seen something like this happen in Karakura Town before.

"Mommy!" A cry entered Ichigo's ears as he heard the voice of a little kid. Looking down at the carnage before him, he saw a little boy sitting inside of a building that looked as though it could crumble at any second. "Hey, what are you doing, move!" Screaming down at the kid Ichigo saw chunks of rocks began to fall around the little boy. "Dammit!"

Jumping down from the building he was standing on, Ichigo flew towards the boy as the construction began to collapse. Looking up, the little boy was like a dear in headlights, unable to move as the rocks started to fall. 'Im not going to make it in time! And I cant use Getsuga Tenshou, or he might get caught in the explosion!'

Faced with this situation, Ichigo suddenly heard a familiar voice come from behind him. "Ichigo, grab him!" Dozens of blue arrows made of Reiatsu fired past Ichigo, flying at the falling debris protecting the boy for the few seconds Ichigo needed. Appearing in front of the boy Ichigo didn't hesitate to pick him up and jumping out of the building as he completely collapsed in on itself, resulting in a large pile of rubble.

As for the boy, he didn't know what was happening as he felt himself being held as he flew in the sky. However, when looking around, he saw no one was holding him. Meanwhile, Ichigo looked around for a moment before finding the roof Uryu, and the others were standing on. "Thanks for the save, Uryu." Looking at Uryu, who put had lowered their bow. "No problem Ichigo."

Looking towards Orihime, Ichigo let go of the boy putting him on the ground. "Orihime, can you look after him? Until we figure out what's going on, it's dangerous for him to be out on his own." Orihime nodded as she looked at the little boy before nodding, giving a reassuring smile. "Don't worry. I'll take care of him." Gesturing towards the boy with a smile, the boy felt someone ruffle his hair only to see no one was there.

"Chad, I need you to make sure no one else gets hurt. If you find anyone who is injured, bring them to Orihime. And Uryu, you'll be with me. We need to figure out what caused this." Agreeing with Ichigo, Chad nodded. "Right." Giving everyone a task, Chad jumped off the building they were standing on landing on the ground below before dashing off looking for anyone who might be left behind from the evacuation.

"Alright, Uryu, let's go!" Both Uryu and Ichigo jumped off the building and began searching the area. "What could have done this in such a short time." Looking at the fire bursting from buildings windows Uryu asked Ichigo as the continued to fly over the town. "I don't know, but we have to stop it before it starts attacking the rest of the town." Only a few moments after Ichigo replied to Uryu another explosion bigger than the others erupted ahead of them, which was then accompanied by gunshots.

"We need back up!" Over five police cars blocked the road as police officers let loose a volley of bullets as the thing in front of them. "What is this thing!" One officer yelled, looking paralyzed in fear by the creature in front of them. "I don't know, and I don't care! Just keep firing!" The officer in charge yelled out as the officers let loose another volley of bullets.

However, the bullets did not have any effect as they simply bounced off the being's body. The being itself was tall as it appeared to be wearing armor, although one couldn't tell of what it was made of. Along with its armor, it also carried a long broad sword, which looked as though it was made of the same abyss Renji found himself trapped within.

As the strange creature raised its claw-like hand in a zombified fashion, it opened its hand towards in front of the officers. Looking at its actions, the police officers didn't know what this thing was going to do and stopped firing. "What is it doing?" Acting cautiously, the officers remained vigilant as the fingers of the creature's hands began to wiggle as if it was boiling.

Suddenly the hands stopped wiggling as they shot out, expanding in different directions as if they were bouncing on invisible walls making there way towards the officers. After only a moment, one of the fingers pierced through the officer's head, killing them instantly. "Ron!" One of the police officers cried out.

One by one, the fingers of the creature began piercing through the officer's head, and for the ones that hid behind their car's, the fingers pierced through the car's doors as if they weren't there. Finally, arriving both Ichigo and Uryu were shocked by the scene in front of them. Dead officers could be seen hanging from the fingers of the creature with faces still showing the look of shock.

"Is that the thing that's been causing all this?" Looking at the strange creature in front of them, Uryu asked in shock. However, Ichigo, on the other hand, began to tremble with rage as his Spiritual Pressure began to build. "You..." With eyes of fury, Ichigo unsheathed his Zanpakuto and yelled at the creature in front of them. "You bastard!"

Disappearing from the spot he was standing, Ichigo appeared behind the strange being with his Zanpakuto raised in the air. "Getsuga! Tenshou!" A massive wave of blue Reiatsu exploded out in front of Ichigo, engulfing the creature below him and causing an explosion. Landing on the ground, Ichigo held his Zanpakuto in front of him with his anger not diminished whats so ever.

After waiting for a few seconds, Ichigo screamed. "Come out!" Waving his Zanpakuto with one arm, the smoke cleared up in a gust of wind, revealing the creature had protected itself using its sword as a guard. "I'll make you pay!" Looking at the being that was still unharmed, Ichigo's grip increased on his Zanpakuto as Uryu appeared beside him.

"Ichigo, you need to calm down." Trying to sooth Ichigo's anger, Uryu couldn't say he was calm either seeing how that creature in front of them simply retracted its fingers from the officer's skulls as if it couldn't care less. Taking a deep breath, Ichigo's grip loosened slightly as the rage within him disappeared somewhat.

Speaking up, Ichigo kept his eyes on the creature as he spoke to Uryu. "We need to finish this thing off before it does causes anymore more damage." Finishing Uryu nodded in agreement as his bow appeared in his hand. "Your right. Let's hope Chad and Orihime have evacuated everyone by now."

Pulling back his bow, Uryu's eyes narrowed as he let loose dozens of arrows.
