The Universal Villain

As Shen and Rukia stood in front of the massive gates separating them from the Seireitei, the ground behind Shen began to warp. As Shen's eyes transformed into his Mangekyou Sharingan, the void behind Shen and Rukia started to grow. 'Just from creating these things, I can already feel my vision getting worse. But still, I have to admit this ability is powerful.'

As the void began to morph, hands began to make there way out of its depths, gripping onto the ground that remained around the portal Shen had made. Slowly creatures began to rise out of the void as their forms became more and more robust. Unlike the creature he was using to attack Karakura Town, these creatures seemed toned down. Instead of being covered in armor, they had b.a.r.e body's resembling humans. However, their arms seemed to be transformed, giving them a weapon like a blade.

The people looking from the Rukon District were scared, still watching thousands of strange creatures rise from a dark abyss in the ground. As their numbers continued to increase, Shen didn't stop there as he raised both of his arms in the air. From both of his hand's orbs of Ki appeared that quickly grew to a massive size. These were the same orbs from Shen's last attack except he had given them a bit of an upgrade.

As the last few creatures rose from the void in the ground, Shen had an army of sorts behind him as two massive balls of Ki floated to his sides. Watching this from behind, Rukia was surprised to Shen create all this within a matter of minutes, although it was clear it drained him considerably. With a grin of his face, Shen ignored his exhaustion as he finished his preparations. "Now, the only thing in our way is that pesky wall."

Raising his hands, Shen spoke. "Let's see how strong it is." Snapping his fingers, the two massive orbs besides him began to move forward. After moving forward away from Shen the spheres, a large bulge could be seen appearing in front of the two orbs until suddenly a large beam of Ki shot forward towards the Shakonmaku. The beams were both aimed at the gate of the Seireitei as the combined just before hitting the barrier.

The impact caused the ground to shake as the barrier surrounding the Seireitei instantly light up. Everyone in the Seireitei could see this event, which was responded by the mobilization of Soul Reapers within the Seireitei. Like drills, the two orbs didn't let up, and as they continued to put pressure on the Shakonmaku. "Even though my attacks aren't Reiatsu based, it's still holding them off."

Saying that the two orbs stopped their attacks having lost at least half of a quarter of their mass. Meanwhile, inside of the Seireitei Soul Reapers began to gather on the other side of the gate Shen was trying to breach. "What's going on?" Using Flash Step Byakuya and Shunsui arrived. Looking at the Soul Reapers who had set up a perimeter in the area, Shunsui asked.

"Were not sure yet, but it appears someone is trying to enter the Seireitei forcefully. There is also a large number of unknown creatures outside of the walls." Listening to the Soul Reapers reply, it didn't take long for the other captains to arrive along with their lieutenants who were lagging behind. With every available captain coming onset, the Soul Reapers surrounding the gate were shocked as the severity of this situation began to weigh down on them.

"Is it him?" Looking at Shinsui, Hitsuguya asked with a serious look on his face. "Most likely, I didn't think he would appear so quickly, especially after the injuries he sustained," Shunsui replied as he stared at the gate with a wondrous look in his eye. "In any case, it's better this way. If we defeat him now, then we will have fewer problems in the future. Walking up from behind a tall person wearing a basket-type helmet over their head said.

"True, but the fact he came here means he's confident he can win this. We shouldn't take him lightly," Shunsui replied, sighing to himself as he placed his hand on top of his bamboo hat. "Whatever either way, this is perfect. Now we don't have to search for him." Kenpachi's voice echoed through everyone's ears as they saw him carrying his lieutenant on his back as usual.

"Now hurry and open the gate so I can fight him." Looking at the Soul Reaper in charge of the gate perimeter, the Soul Reaper began to sweat, not wanting to reply. "Eh, what are you waiting for?" Looking at the Soul Reaper standing there like a statue, Kenpachi's voice revealed his annoyance. "Opening the gate would put the entire Seireitei at risk. I was hoping even an idiot like you could understand something so simple."

Byakuya, who had remained quiet, spoke up looking at Kenpachi at the corner of his eye. "What did you say you stuck up little-" Before Kenpachi could finish his sentence, the sound of a cane tapping the ground could be heard along with a wave of Spiritual Pressure silencing both Kenpachi and Byakuya.

"That's enough! This is not the time to be fighting amongst our selves. We have a crisis on our hands. The enemy is at out front gates, and we must protect the Soul Society at all costs. However, the speed of which this attack was initiated is indeed worrying." As Yamamoto thought to himself for a moment, he continued to speak.

"For now, we must prepare ourselves. We may not have the time we thought we did, but that does not change what we must do!" As his voice echoed not only to the captains but all the Soul Reapers are standing guard outside of the gate, they remained silent. "Now, then it appears as though he is not able to break through the Shakonmaku, but if the reports we have received are correct, then I doubt he will give up so easily."

After speaking, a messenger came running after appearing with Flash Step. "I have a report from the scouts. Along with the Perpintrator, we have spotted Ru-" The Messanger's words were cut short as an unknown pressure began to bear down on everyone. Outside of the gate, Shen had stepped forward, standing not far from the entrance of the Seireitei.

Crimson Lightning was radiating from his body as Shen held out his hand to his side. The sky began to turn a tint of red as a suffocating feeling could be felt emanating from Shen. Feeling this feeling, Byakuya, Shunsui, and Kenpachi's eyes locked at the gate before they yelled. "Everyone gets away from the gate right now!" Giving an order to all the Soul Reapers close to the entrance, the captains also fell back.

"Let's see how it holds up against this!" As a Haki covered Halbert appeared in Shen's hands, he raised it above his head as the ground began to shake. With one swift movement, Shen lowered the Halbert crashing it into the ground in front of him.
