The Universal Villain

After being wholly intrapped in Shen's Mangekyou Ability, Toshiro couldn't tell what he was standing on or how he could see when all around him was darkness. "Welcome to my dimension Toshiro." Standing opposite to Toshiro Shen was not obscured in any way, allowing himself to be fully visible.

"Your dimension?" Taking another glance around, Toshiro had no idea what was happening. "That's right. Here we are completely cut off to the outside world, meaning not even the Head Captain could reach us if he wanted too." Chuckling Shen's words caused Toshiro to throw away any hope of escape.

"I suppose that means I'll have to defeat you to escape." Holding Hyorinmaru in front of himself, Toshiro looked as though he was ready for a fight. Shen had an open expression before smiling as they spoke again. "Defeat me? I don't think you fully grasp the situation you are in." With that, Toshiro began to see the void under his feet, morph something short forward towards him.

Turning his Zanpakuto, he blocked the strike with the broad sword of his blade, causing him to be sent into the air. Feeling the force behind that strike, Toshiro looked to see what had struck him. However, by the time he managed to regain his balance and check the floor of the void had turned back to normal.

'What was that thing it was fast.' Changing his gaze to look at Shen Toshiro noticed he hadn't moved from the spot he was standing in before. 'He didn't move, meaning something else really did hit me. Whatever it was Ill make sure it doesn't happen again.' Falling to the ground, Toshiro raised his Zanpakuto in the air before twisting it. With its edge facing downwards, he slammed his Zanpakuto into the void he was standing on.

Suddenly a cold rush erupted from Hyorinmaru as the ice began to cover the area. Inch by inch the ice spread as a new type of element was brought into this dimension. Looking at the ground at his feet Shen saw that the ice had even trapped his feet. 'Hyorinmaru really is a powerful Zanapakuto able to freeze things even in this type of dimension. I should reserve from doing anything that will cause me to lose too much light during this fight.'

Due to Mangekyou Sharingan, user's looking there sight, the more they used their ability Shen was no exception. The more he used the ability, the more sight he would lose in his eyes. It was like a buffer to stop Uchiha members from overusing abilities that have the capability of destroying entire villages.

Holding his arm out into the darkness, Shen used his ability once more like the void around his hand began to morph itself. "What kind of power is that." Staring at Shen's hand, Toshiro was shocked as something in the shape of a sword took form. As the morphing void began to solidify indeed, a sword was in Shen's hand.

Observing the blade, Shen waved it around. 'It weighs practically nothing. This ability really is a cheat no other way to put it.' Swinging the blade back and forth, Shen only stopped when he got a feel for it. "I never learned how to use a sword properly, so forgive me if I'm a bit slow." In that instant, Toshiro could have sworn Shen vanished as he appeared in front of him already prepped for an attack.

Holding his sword with one hand Shen's sliced down on Toshiro who had just reacted to Shen's attack. As the two blades clashed, a hollow sound could be heard verberating throughout the void. Titling his Zanpakuto slightly Toshiro managed to gain a small gap between Shen and himself letting him back away quickly.

In his close encounter with Shen in that instance, he saw Shen's eyes were crimson with a strange black pattern as if something was carved into his eyes. 'He has even more abilities than the reports said he did and he might even be faster then Soi Fon.' As Toshiro glided across the ground with a single step, Shen's looked up as he moved two fingers on his empty hand.

Pointing at Toshiro with both fingers, the ice that covered the ground began to crack on both sides of Shen. Following the cracking, the ice exploded out of the way as the void beneath began to morph as it expanded, forming two long spikes flying towards Toshiro. 'Those must be what he used to attack me earlier. But how can manipulate an entire dimension like that?' Having no time to delve further into his thoughts Toshiro reacted quickly moving to the side while blocking the second spike.

Landing back on the ice-covered ground as the two spikes began to fade back into the world around him. 'The ability to control an entire dimension like that must have some kind of downside.' Trying to recall anything from the moment Shen activated his ability Toshiro's thoughts were cut short once again by Shen.

As crimson energy flowed from Shen's body into the sword, Shen took a step back before swinging his sword downwards at an angle creating an arc of Ki that seemed to be frozen in place. Following that swing, Shen thing swung the sword back up, creating yet another arc. The moment the two arcs overlapped one another, they burst forward as if the force holding them still was gone.

Although the arcs of Ki weren't as big as the ones that tore through the Seireitei Toshiro could tell that they were brimming with power as their surfaces looked as if they were boiling. The speed of these two slashes was even faster then Toshiro could dodge or attack back as he had no choice but to block.

Having only a split second to brace himself Toshiro immediately the force of the two slashes began to push him back. The momentum was more then he could handle as he flew across the void. "Don't want you going too far away now do we?" Saying that Shen's eyes widened at the void far behind Toshiro began to morph creating a large wall behind him.

Having no time to look behind himself Toshiro couldn't even focus as he couldn't overcome the force put into these two attacks. Continuing to be pushed back, Toshiro's soon slammed directly into the wall Shen had created. The impact caused the air to fall out of Toshiro's lungs, and when all the air was gone, it was soon followed by blood.

As Toshiro lost strength, the slash's that was pushing against his Zanpakuto began to become unstable as if they reached as if they had reached a breaking point. Watching as their glow began to intensify Toshiro's eyes widened.

Watching from afar Shen watched as an explosion appeared in the distance. 'Maybe I put a little too much power into those attacks. I just wanted to push him into a corner.' Compared to his fight with Soi Fon, this was incredibly one-sided.

Back when Shen fought Soi Fon a large portion of his Ki was used up due to him containing it inside of his halberd. However, now other than the Ki he used to create those orbs Shen was at full power. And even stronger than before making a captain only using their Shikai barely a challenge.

Meanwhile, outside of Shen's dimension, a deathly silence had encompassed every captain and lieutenant. Standing like zombie Momo seemed to have broken as she looked up into the sky. 'Shiro's spiritual pressure... It's gone...' Being completely cut off to the Soul Society no one could sense Toshiro's presence.

"This has to be a joke..." Rangiku said as she stopped on top of a building. She planned to go and assist her captain as Soi Fon had suggested however up to just a minute ago she couldn't sense Toshiro at all. A captain's spiritual pressure was hard to suppress, especially when fighting. The fact Toshiro's spiritual pressure disappeared seemed only to have one conclusion.

A captain has fallen.
