The Universal Villain

Frozen in the air, thousands of cherry petals could be seen frozen in mid-air encompassed by a large amount of ice that stretched into the sky. Freeing herself from the Bakudo Byakuya placed on her Rukia was holding Sode no Shirayuki in its released state.

Staring at a large amount of ice leading into the air where Byakuya was standing, she wasn't surprised when the sound of ice cracking began entered her ears. Breaking out of the ice first was Byakuya, who was still in the air as ice fell from his body. Being trapped in that ice for a moment, it took Byakuya some time to finally escape giving Rukia all the time she needed to break free of his Bakudo.

The fog his breath could be seen as he took deep breathes. Following his previous actions, Byakuya held his Zanpakuto out as the rest of the ice containing the blossoms of Senbonzakuza broke from the ice as they gathered into a large group before flying back to Byakuya. "You've got stronger. Before you were never capable of something like this."

Rukia barely had any time to prepare that attack in that small frame of time yet not only managed to stop his Senbonzakura but also froze the surrounding area, including the roof and even the blades of grass on the ground just from being in its proximity. Rukia didn't answer right away before replying to Byakuya. "I have Master Shen to thank for that as well." Listening to Rukia bring the conversation back to Shen Byakuya asked. "Is that why you betrayed the Soul Society?"

However, this time, even after waiting for Byakuya, got no response. "I guess the time for talk has long passed." Shutting his mouth Byakuya didn't try to speak to Rukia again as he directed Senbonzakura using the hilt of his sword. The swirling wave cherry petals floating in the air reacted to Byakuya's command. They stopped swirling as they rushed towards Rukia.

Dodging Byakuya's attack, Rukia jumped off the roof as it was engulfed and, this time, utterly destroyed. Senbonzakura gave Byakuya thousands of blades to use, making it extremely deadly. However, it dead has a weakness. 'I know you too well for your own good brother.' Instead of running away from Byakuya or trying to gain distance from his Senbonzakura, the moment Rukia dodged his attack, she began to rush towards him.

'The first weakness is that Senbonzakura is limited when it comes to its speed and is slower than yourself.' Seeing Rukia approaching him, Byakuya quickly recalled Senbonzakura as it immediately began to surround him. 'And the second being.' Flying at full speed, only a small gap was open as Byakuya prepared to defend himself from Rukia's attack.

Not stopping even as the gap closed, Rukia flew into the small hole where there was a space surrounding Byakuya as they were in the sphere surrounding him. 'You don't allow Senbonzakura too close to your body as you could end up getting hit by your own attacks.' Rukia flew in with Zanpakuto pointed straight at Byakuya's c.h.e.s.t, who shocked Rukia would risk injury breaking through Senbonzakura's guard.

At that moment, Byakuya could only take this moment to look at Rukia as she prepared to plunge her blade right threw him. This Rukia was so different than the one he knew, yet he couldn't help it as a ting of an unknown emotion flashed through his eyes. Holding Senbonzakura's hilt, the blade began to reform just in time to parry Rukia's attack.

As the sphere of cherry petals dispersed around them, Rukia slid in the air placing on hand down as if she was standing on the ground. Standing up straight, Rukia proceeded to point her Zanpakuto straight at Byakuya, who had entirely recalled Senbonzakura. "San no mai."

Hearing those first three words immediately brought a reaction out, Byakuya, as he began to move out of the area, Rukia was pointing her Zanpakuto. "Shirafune" Finishing her words ice in the shape of a katana blade started to form in the air extending Rukia's sword to point it would have gone straight through Byakuya's head if he hadn't moved. Seeing Byakuya had already moved, Rukia's actions were quick as she twisted her wrist, in turn, twisting her Zanpakuto before swinging it towards Byakuya.

Although these actions seemed lengthy in reality, they were extremely fast as Byakuya witnessed Rukia's Zanpakuto heading in his direction, ready to slice his head clean off. Leaning back the blade passed right past his face, it continued on slicing everything in its path, including entire buildings and towers that began to topple from Rukia's attack.

After cutting nothing but air for the third time, the ice extension on Rukia's Zanpakuto crumbled away, returning her Zanpakuto to its original size. Not soon after that, the battle between the two continued their spiritual pressure erupted. A combination of ice and cherry petals began to cover that entire sector of the Seireitei as they both used their Shikai abilities to their maximum capabilities with the amount of power being immitted from Rukia only continuing to rise.

As the chaos in the Seireitei continued back in the Human World, the sound of blood dripping onto the ground could be heard along with someone yelling. "Uryu!" A monster like a hand could be seen going straight through Uruy's c.h.e.s.t. The blood from his c.h.e.s.t began to soak into his clothes as he coughed up a large amount of blood. Running to Uryu, the hand going through his c.h.e.s.t could be seen retracting back into the smoke as Uryo fell to his knees with a look of shock on his face.

Catching Uryu just before he fell to the ground, Ichigo had a look of dread on his face as he looked from Uryu's wound and his pale face getting even paler. 'I have to get him to Orihime quick.' Preparing to place his Zanpakuto onto his back Ichigo was interrupted another hand shot out of the smoke aiming for him this time.

Quickly placing his Uryu down, Ichigo blocked the attack with the broad side of Zangetsu as he pushed through Katakura town. Getting hit through dozens of buildings, a path had been cleared as buildings fell on top of one another, causing a trail of smoke to rise into the air. Eventually, the arm stopped expanding as Ichigo was pushed into an open street half a mile away from the place he was before.

As the arm retracted, Ichigo's face was dark lowered his Zanpakuto next to him. "That's it. I'm ending this now." Pointing his Zanpakuto straight in front of him, the creature he and Uryu attacked with their duel combination could be seen walking through the path Ichigo made being pushed through the town almost entirely unharmed.

A large amount of blue Reiatsu erupted from Ichigo, and his Zanpakuto as a cyan glow could be seen shining in his eye.

"Bankai!"
