The Universal Villain

Within the Soul Society, everything had begun to settle only minutes after Shen left. If you were viewing the Seireitei from the Rukon District, no one would have ever suspected anything until it happened. At one of the highest points within the Seireitei, there was a flash of red light so bright that it could be seen no matter what direction you were looking at it.

Coming from that light was a crimson sphere of Ki that began to eat away from everything it touched as it began to grow, engulfing everything its radius. As it grew at a faster and faster rate, it even began to outgrow the towers in the center of the Seireitei. Suddenly the Ki's growth stopped as if it had reached a limit as it began to shrink, leaving a perfectly spherical imprint on Sokyoku Hill and the towers the Seireitei.

The sphere of Ki began to shrink smaller and smaller it became almost unviewable if not for the light it radiated. And it was only after shrinking to that size did the real explosion occur. An ear-deafening sound wrung through the Seireitei as a shockwave ran over the ground. The ground of the Seireitei was uprooted as miles of land was flattened or blown away.

The only thing that stopped the explosion from causing damage to the Rukon District itself was the walls that were there to protect the Seireitei. However, instead, they only contained the blast as the shockwave from the explosion banged against the Seireitei walls making a loud thumping sound.

As destructive forces from the blast began to recede, all one could see was a mushroom cloud rising into the air as the once glorious center of the Seireitei was reduced to a crater with all structures and buildings within miles destroyed. Meanwhile, back in the Human World, Shen and Rukia finally had a chance to take a break.

Shen didn't know exactly when the explosion would take place, but he wished he could have seen it with his own two eyes though he did get the second-best thing as Shen's notifications began to erupt. Lines upon lines of XP and SP began to stack on top of each other. Looking at this, Shen realized the explosion must have effected more of Soul Society than he initially thought it would.

"This is insane…" Although Shen was already sitting down, he felt as though he needed to do it again. It was only after the notifications began to slow, which Shen could only guess meant the explosion was ending did Shen spot a special notification among the others. This was both a notification he was excited for and fearful of viewing. 'Please be dead! Please be dead! Please be dead!'

Reading the entire notification, Shen's excitement skyrocketed. "Yes!" Eleven million XP and almost eight thousand SP the combination of which caused him to level up seven times between Yamamoto and all the unlucky Soul Reapers who were in the area. This was by far the best conclusion Shen could have possibly hoped for. With the notifications coming to an end, Shen was in total bliss.

The worst thing that could have happened would have been Yamamoto was still alive and would come to the Human World with his Bankai in hand ready to torch Shen alive. But now that would never come to pass, and Shen was still alive to reap all of the benefits from the fight. With these notifications, Shen quickly opened his menu as Rukia stared at him, strangely wonder what he was so excited about.

Sharingan[Lv 4(Light Lost: 57%)]: The user has unlocked the Mangekyou Sharingan and has all the previous abilities of the Sharingan but massively enhanced. The user will also have two unique powers, each coming stemming from one of their eyes. Due to the nature of the Mangekyou Sharingan, however, the more the user uses their ability, the more sight they will lose sight in their respective eyes.

Mugen No Ryoiki[No Lv]: Using the right eye of the user's Mangekyou Sharingan, the user can create multiple portals of various sizes to a void-like dimension as long as the target location is visible or within 50 meters of the user. The user can also summon their dimension to their location, trapping an opponent within their dimension forcefully, cutting them off from the outside world.

Mugen No Ryoiki: Sosa[No Lv]: Using the left eye of the user's Mangekyou Sharingan, the user can manipulate their dimension however they wish. However, depending on the complexity and size of what the user wants to create or manipulate. By combining this ability with Mugen No Ryoiki, the user can bring theoretically bring anything they create or manipulate outside of their dimension.

-Techniques-

Fire Dragon Slayer Magic[Lv 1]: The user can use magic similar to that of a fire dragon's abilities. This gives the user a natural resistance against fire and even the ability to eat fire itself, allowing them to recover as long as the flames are weaker/lower quality than the flames the user can produce.

Before starting his fight with Yamamoto, Shen had to think hard about a race that would grant him some resistance to his flames. But after thinking for a while, he realized there was an obvious answer that was also extremely cheap. If not for being a Fire Dragon Slayer, Shen would have definitely been burnt a lot worst than he was. Although Shen wasn't dumb enough to try and fight fire with fire, he couldn't help but wonder how Yamamoto's flames would taste.

Moving on from his Dragon Slayer abilities for a moment, Shen saw how much his stats had increased from the last time he checked. He had to admit he was expecting to get Zenkai Boost during his fight with Yamamoto. 'But hey who would complain that they didn't almost die during a fight.' Thanks to quick thinking and a semi-solid plan, this was the reward he was gifted, and Shen planned to spend it.

'There are a lot of abilities I want right now. Kamui is still a must since I still need a base. But then again, there are things like good to pass up.' Shen could already tell he was going to enter an endless loop of debating once again just like he had done all the other times he had gotten SP. 'Well, for now, let's get the things I know to need starting with Observation Haki.' Shen's current method of sensing things was crude at best and not the most energy preserving method.

However, once he obtained Observation Haki as long as he leveled it up to the max, he would basically have the ability to see into the future. 'If I could merge this with Ultra Instinct.' Shen could imagine himself already. Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan 3 with Ultra Instinct with a Rinne Sharingan in one eye and Tenseigan in the other. 'Ok, now that I imagine it that looks really stupid. Like some fan fiction character or something.'

"Master Shen, are you ok?" Shen was taken out of his dream-like imagination when he found Rukia staring at him. Shen had been muttering to himself out loud and even laughing at his own thoughts, making him seem less than sane. Realizing this, Shen coughed for a moment before standing up.

"I was just thinking about the future. Anyway, we'll be heading to Katakura Town soon to check on some things get ready." As much as Shen wanted to relax after fighting battle after battle, he needed to confirm one last thing before he could truly relax.
