Lady Melissa was delighted and excited, she was just thirty minutes away from meeting Duke Gaston, and she was 15 minutes away from her physics lesson ending.

After all, desserts were one of Lady Melissa 's favorite foods. She didn't have a specific type of favorite dessert, but it would be ice cream if she were forced to choose.

And It tasted terrific too; her favorite flavor? It was a hard choice for Lady Melissa, but she would probably choose the flavor 'Cookies and Cream.'

She wasn't the only one who loved the flavor. Many others loved the taste as well, from both peasants to nobles, and even some of the royal family members!

Thus the Cookie and Cream flavor was often sold up in many dessert shops that had sold ice cream.

Well, she could see why. After all, ice cream was excellent, and she loved every bit of it, from the top to the bottom of the ice cream.

The clock had ringed loudly, surprising Lady Melissa and snapping her out of her daydreams.

Fifteen minutes had passed by so quickly, and Lady Melissa hadn't felt a single bit of the 15 minutes that had passed by.

Though Lady Melissa Mendy Shayla wouldn't complain at all, as her daydreams were more fun than Lady Melissa Mendy Shayla's physics lesson would ever be.

Lady Melissa could only wish her physics lessons were as fun and exciting as her daydreams.

Well, it was called a wish for a reason.

After greeting her physics teacher goodbye, Lady Melissa quickly ran into her room and changed her clothes in just under a minute.

Which was quite impressive, as many nobles would take 10-15 minutes to use their clothes.

Or sometimes maybe even 30 minutes to an hour!

Lady Melissa didn't bother to use makeup. After all, she met with Duke Gaston for a business deal, not for a date or anything.

So she shouldn't try nor expect Duke Gaston to do something special for her during their meet-up.

Yet Lady Melissa couldn't help but hope that maybe just maybe, Duke Gaston would do something special for her.

Lady Melissa had a love-hate relationship with falling in love. This was one of the moments she wanted someone to love her.

Lady Melissa though it was childish to hate something yet love the same thing she had hated just a few moments later.

But she couldn't help herself, and she had a habit of unintentionally hurting people's feelings. However, in her previous life, she managed to keep herself look as if she was nonchalant about everything that was happening to her, such as the bullying, the rude comments, etc.

Lady Melissa had done a fantastic job in hiding her feelings, just for the sake of getting the Crown Prince's attention.

She was that desperate for his attention.

And look where that led her, onto her second life to get revenge onto the very same person she had promised all her love for, the very same person she would marry, but most importantly, the very same person she discussed all her future plans with.

From the very vaguest details to the most specific ones on how Lady Melissa and the Crown Prince wanted their wedding to be like, it was no wonder she had felt so hurt with the Crown Prince's betrayal.

Lady Melissa was sure that if any other person were in her shoes, they would feel almost as hurt as how she was, or maybe even more hurt than how Lady Melissa had felt once she had discovered the truth.

But now was certainly not the time for Lady Melissa to be thinking of such things, as she still had a meeting with Duke Gaston to get to.

And she couldn't be late. After all, she had detested people who would often come late to gatherings or meet-ups.

It was just a little pet peeve of Lady Melissa that would randomly tick her off.

And if she were late, she would be a hypocrite, not like Lady Melissa wasn't one already.

Lady Melissa wanted to give a good impression to Duke Gaston. Maybe if he declined her offer, the fact that Lady Melissa arrived early would add some brownie points to Duke Gaston.

Lady Melissa was excited to go to La Vien En Rose as well, so it was a win-win for her.

And besides, it wasn't like Lady Melissa would regret her decision to arrive early; however, if Duke Gaston had arrived late.

Let's say Lady Melissa would lose a few of her good impressions on Duke Gaston.

It was all because of the Crown Prince; that Lady Melissa started to be annoyed at people who arrived late the number of times he had arrived late when meeting Lady Melissa Mendy Shayla was just spectacular.

That even Lady Melissa herself had started writing the number of times the Crown Prince had been late to meet her.

Now, if the Crown Prince was only late meeting Lady Melissa just by a few minutes, Lady Melissa wouldn't be annoyed or angry at all.
