Lady Melissa then took her blanket again and layed on the bed, before falling asleep.

A few hours had passed by and this time, Lady Melissa woke up just fine.

She had woken up because of all of the noise in the Shayla estate.

Lady Melissa quickly went to her dressing room before deciding on an outfit.

She had decided to wear a black outfit for the day.

Just a black shirt mixed with black pants.

She quickly went into the bathroom for a quick warm shower to start the day and to contemplate the nightmare she had.

'Why did I dream of such a thing? Is it a sign from the universe? What do I do now?'

Though Lady Melissa was still very much shaken by the nightmare she had, she couldn't help but just overthink it.

'I should check up on Sophia later after this. Maybe she's woken up already by some weird miracle or chance.'

Lady Melissa turned off the shower and took a towel before grabbing her clothes and changing into them.

Lady Melissa then left her bathroom, she was ready to meet Sophia now.

Lady Melissa was about to leave her room, her hand was already on the door handle.

But just as she was about to leave and open the door, there was a knock on the very same door.

"It's me, Derick, may I come in Lady Melissa?"

Though Lady Melissa was surprised by Derick's sudden knocking at her door, she didn't think much about it.

"Yes go ahead, Derick."

Lady Melissa backed away from the door, so she wouldn't get hit by it when Derick would come in.

Derick opened the door with the help of the door handle.

"Good Morning, Lady Melissa. I am glad to see that you decided to sleep, instead of staying by Sophia's side the whole night."

"Good Morning Derick. I apologize for yesterday I raised my voice to you out of nowhere when you were simply acting out of concern for me. I'm sorry."

Lady Melissa then bowed her head down, expressing to Derick that she was truly sorry for her actions the other day.

"Raise your head up Lady Melissa, you're the Lady Melissa daughter of Duchess and Duke Shayla, how could you bow your head down for such a simple matter? Although I am grateful that you bowed down to me, a mere butler. What would the others think? Your THE lady Melissa, not some peasant nor low born noble so raise your head up high."

The moment Lady Melissa heard Derick's words she raised her head almost immediately, he was absolutely right. She was THE daughter of the Duke and Duchess of the Shayla estate. How could she bow her head down at such trivial matters? She would be a laughing stock if she had done the same thing in public.

Derick lowered down his head before continuing.

"And besides it wasn't all of your fault, I should apologize as well. It was my fault too, I was being inconsiderate towards you and didn't try to see it from your point of view. I should've been more considerate and for that, I apologize."

"How about we make a truce?"

"Sure"

Lady Melissa then put her hand closer to Derick's before they shook hands.

"Actually I came here for another reason, gosh I almost forgot."

"You must be getting old then Derick."

Lady Melissa jokingly said, and a chuckle emerged from Derick.

"I'm not sure how to tell you this but…. Sophia just woke up."

"WHAT? WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME EARLIER?!"

The very moment Lady Melissa heard that Sophia had woken up, she was happy and excited though she was a little angry at Derick for not telling her earlier.

Though she was still very much excited and happy to be able to talk to Sophia, looks like her nightmare meant nothing then.

Lady Melissa decided to make a run for it, she was going to run towards the room Sophia was staying in.

Lady Melissa started running but before she had even managed to leave her room, Derick had caught her.

"Listen to me first Lady Melissa, you can see and talk to Sophia later."

"Fine."

With a frown on her face, Lady Melissa agreed to listen to Derick.

"Go on continue, I want to meet Sophia so hurry up Derick."

"One of the maids had decided to check her up this morning at around 4 AM and she found Sophia, wide awake creepily looking at her when the maid opened the door. Before Sophia waved a hello, though the maid thought Sophia was a ghost because of the poor lighting and her mind was playing tricks on her.

So the maid then told the other maids, and there was gossip that there was a ghost in the room Sophia was currently staying in. The rumor spread to one of the chefs and he decided to figure out whether the rumor was true or not. "

"Lemme guess what happens next. And then they find Sophia wide awake? But with better lighting so they figured out it was Sophia not that there was a ghost?"

"Yeah, that pretty much sums all of it."

"So may I see Sophia now?"

Lady Melissa then showed her butler Derick the puppy eyes.

Even though Derick was quite old, he had a soft spot for Lady Melissa and seeing her puppy eyes had immediately made him soft.
