To Be A Hero: A MHA Fanfic

"Shino! "

Sora came bursting through Shino's bedroom door holding two envelops in his hand. Following behind him were Izuku, Katsuki and Momo. Each of them were holding an envelope of their own.

"She's asleep"

Indeed she was. Shino was curled up into her sheets fast asleep. There was an almost invisible bubble surrounding her that made the friends realize there was no waking her at the moment.

"Oi! Wake the hell up! " Katsuki punched the forcefield only to get forcefully thrown back.

"You idiot. You know very well that the field pushes everything away"

"Sora can't you access it? You have psionic abilities and said that Shino's forcefield was very similar to that of your own"

"While you have a good point there Izuku it's completly useless. Her bubble protects her from everything. There is nothing I can do. When I try to access it I get a major migraine. And as you know my quirk requires great focus. "

"I guess we're just going to have to wait it out"

Momo stepped up to the bubble to observe it. She never took the time to actually look at it close up. She knows what it's like inside the bubble. It's silent. Very silent. It blocks out any sound from the outside leaving enyone in it deaf to the world. It works the other way around as well. No sound gets in or out of the bubble.

"Is it really impossible for any one to enter? "Momo questioned as she tapped the surface of the bubble.

"None of us have been able to get in unless we're close by when Shino falls asleep. Once in you can come out any time you want" Sora replied.

"And as far as we know she can't make the bubble when she's awake" Izuku added.

"The bubble is indestructible. It would be really helpful if she could make it while awake" Katsuki said seemingly annoyed.

"I see" Momo pressed her hand against the bubble in deep thought. The bubble became visible and Momo's hand suddenly passed through.

"Huh? "

"Whoa! Your hand passed through! "Sora seemed freaked out but excited at the same time.

"Great. Now go in there and punch that the damn sloth in the face! "Katsuki exclaimed with fire in his eyes.

"Kacchan "

Momo pushed her hand further into the bubble and was relieved when she wasn't pushed out or repelled. Once in the bubble she could hear the boys no more. They were obviously talking and Katsuki was clearly yelling, but none of it could be heard in the bubble. It was oddly comforting.

"Shino " Momo ran a hand through the other's hair. Shino had told her that she enjoyed when someone runs a hand through her hair and that it was the best way to wake her. She really hates it when others wake her, but if it is done in that fashion she would not mind at all.

"Hmm" Shino m.o.a.n.e.d with a smile.

The bubble popped when Shino opened her eyes. The smile spread when she saw Momo and she immediately sat up.

"Hey Momo" She yawned behind her hand and settled her wild hair. "To what do I owe the p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e? "

"Well we came to see you once we received our letters from UA"

"Never mind that. Momo totally walked through your bubble! How!? " Sora raised his voice earning a glare from Shino.

"Please stop being so loud" she sighed and climbed out of her bed. "My guess is that it has something to do with my subconscious "

"So subconsciously you are OK with Momo interrupting your sleep, but not with us"

"Seems about right" Shino shrugged. "You Sora are way to loud when you want to wake me up. Katsuki has the same problem and would actually assault me in my sleep. I really don't have a problem with Izuku though, so maybe he could enter the bubble as well. If not then there must be some reason I don't want him in"

"Can your parents enter? "

"Of course they can. At first they couldn't, but they can now that I understand how the bubble works" Shino informed Sora. "I don't mind Momo entering the Bubble. She's very gentle and knows exactly how to wake me up. She's isn't super loud like you. Or aggressive like Katsuki"

"I wonder if there's some other reason" Sora wondered with a sly smile.

"I don't like that smile on your face"

Shino had retrieved an envelope from Sora knowing one of them had to be hers. She didn't look worried at all as she eyed the paper.

"No one open theirs? "

"Nope, we'll do it together " Sora plopped himself on the floor and motioned for everyone to do the same. One by one everyone followed his movement and soon they were sitting in a small circle.

It had been a total of two weeks since they took their exams. As Shino expected there was a written portain and practical that consisted of a race through an obsticle course. And lastly there was an interview that she thought went very smoothly. She had a talk with principal Nezu himself, for obvious reasons. She was confident in her knowledge when it came to the written test. She wasn't too concerned when it came to the practical.

"OK here goes"

They all opened their letters to find a small disk. Once the button in the middle was pushed a holographic video of All Might appeared in front of them.

"Thought as much" Shino chuckled.

The conversation for each of them was practically the same. All Might enthusiastically congratulated them on passing and informed them of their ranks. They were all happy to find that they were all placed in the same class in the hero course.

"We did it! " Sora screamed at the top of his lungs causing Shino to hit him across the back of his head.

"I-I got eccepted" Momo whispered in disbelief.

"It's only natural they eccept a genius like me" Katsuki smirked.

"I really did it. I got in. I'm in the hero course" Izuku was mumbling to himself in a corner.

Shino was the only one who showed no emotion. She was completly casual with everything that was going on.

"I told you you'd get in Momo" Shino smiled and patted Momo's head. "Now if you'll excuse me, ill go take a nap"

"Shino? " Momo tugged on her shirt before she could stand.

"How are you so unaffected by this? "

Shino didn't say anything for some time and only smiled that amused smile of hers.

"You could say that I saw it coming "

"How could you see this coming? "

"It's pretty simple. We're all very smart and each of our quirks are suited for battle. That's all there is to it. I knew we would pass the exam and end up in the hero course. What I didn't know was whether or not we end up in the same class"

Shino crashed into her bed with a contented sigh.

"Are you sure you didn't create a foresight quirk? "

"I'm sure" Shino pulled her bedsheets over her head and rolled over. "I'll take my nap now"

"The hell you will! You're coming with us" Sora rudely pulled the sheets off Shino an Katsuki pulled her out of bed.

"I'm not in the mood for training" Shino w.h.i.n.ed as Izuku led her out her room

Momo watched the long time friends shuffle out the room and followed after them with a smile on her face. The four of them can be so amusing to observe.

"Good day Mr and Mrs. Kiddo" Momo greeted when she came down the stairs.

"Hello there Momo. I heard you lot passed" Nico smiled kindly as she busied herself in the kitchen.

"No surprise there if you ask me" Shiro chuckled as he stared our the nearest window. "You're a group of excellent kids"

"Thank you Mr. Kiddo"

"Don't thank me" Shiro waved off Momo's gratitude.

There was an explosion that made the hero couple chuckle.

"It seems those three refuse to give Shino a break"

"Did you four manage to wake her somehow? "

"Yes, Mrs. Kiddo"

"Oh?" Nico smiled knowingly.

The smile confused Momo. What does that smile mean?

Another explosion and a laugh from Shiro.

"It seems Katsuki landed a blow straight in the face. She'll hang him for that" there was a pause and then a crash. "Definitely hang Sora for that. Poor Izuku got caught up in the crossfire. I could only imagine the pain he must be going through right about now. "

Shiro continued to offer commentary on the fight that was taking part out in the backyard. He seemed very amused and not at all worried about the possibility of his yard catching fire.

"Ignore him. He takes great p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e and watching Shino abuse those three. I don't know why" Nico told Momo as she shuffled a pan of cookies out of the oven. "I suggest you go out there and stop the escalating fight. Izuku is quite reasonable, but always gets dragged into the fight rather than stopping it. And when Shino gets into it it's quite difficult to stop her, but I do have a feeling that you'll be able to" Nico got to work on mixing some batter.

"You don't mind do you? "

"Not at all Mrs. Kiddo"

"Very well. Now go on, before they set something on fire"

Momo nodded and quickly retreated to the backyard.

Katsuki was stuck to a tree, hanging upside down by Shino's web. He was yelling and cursing while creating explosions in his palms. Sora was webbed up and also hung in a tree. But unlike Katsuki his mouth was webbed shut. Lastly Izuku was fighting and obviously losing against Shino.

There was nothing for Momo to stop for Shino was already putting it to an end.

A thud signaled the defeat of Izuku and he g.r.o.a.n.e.d from his place on the grass.

"Oi! Let me do-"

Katsuki's mouth was webbed shut and soon his hands were contained as well.

"Thats what you get for dragging me out of my room"
