To Be A Hero: A MHA Fanfic

"Today is the day!"

Sora cheerfully walked into Shino's room unannounced. Normally she would have been annoyed, but she let her friend off the hook. Today was a special day and she would allow his loud vocals.

Currently she was fixing herself in the mirror. Like Sora she was dressed in the UA uniform. She was happy to be allowed the male uniform instead of the female. Her distaste for skirts had remained over the years. Shino had her hair in the usual pony tail while she busied herself with her tie. She was purposely ignoring the very excited Sora.

"I can't believe mom and dad are gonna be teachers at our school"

"So uncle Toshinori actually managed to convince her? "

"No. It was all aunt Nemuri"

"Really? "

"Oh yeah. I don't know what she said to mom, but it worked like a charm"

"What subject will she be teaching? "

"I have no idea. She doesn't want to tell me"

"I guess we'll have to find out" Shino said as she slung her black backpack over her shoulders. She adjusted her similarly colored sneakers before leaving her room. "Are you coming Sora? "

"Wait up" Sora quickly viewed himself in the mirror. He wasn't dressed as neatly as Shino and his hair was a controlled mess. "Perfect "

That's the look he was going for apparently.

Shino was already at the front door when Sora came running up to her. He had retrieved his green backpack and had it slung over a shoulder while he fidgeted with his sneakers.

"Why are you even at my house? "

"I came to make sure you woke up on time"

"I'm not that careless"

"You never know"

Shino didn't reply and walked quietly to her car.

"Good morning young masters"

"Good morning Kuro" Shino greeted as she climbed into the back of the black car. Sora happily followed after her with a greeting to the driver.

"We're royalty"

"Where's your driver, Sora? "

"I sent him off after he brought me here. I planned on riding with you from the start"

"And if I did not want you to? "

"You would abandon your best friend? "

Shino didn't answer that and quietly unwrapped a lollipop.

"What's with the silence? "

"The probability of me abandoning you depends on your behavior "

"What does that mean? "

"It means you can be annoyingly loud to the point where I want throw you as far as I can"

Sora grumbled and took a pack of potato ch.i.p.s to munch on during their ride.

The rest of the drive was spent in comfortable silence.

On the entire drive Shino was in deep thought. She would be starting UA in the hero course and in the A class. She knew what to expect and at the same time she didn't. There are already changes to the class with her and Sora being students. Changes were introduced far before this point. Izuku actually has a quirk and remained friends with Katsuki over the years. All Might has a son who is just as loud and always smiling. And Shino herself existed in this world. Class 1A 's roster has changed and she wondered if she and Sora would be the only change. Could there be new faces in the A class? Who would have been replaced?

Probably Mineta seeing as anyone could score higher than him. How did he even pass? Yes his balls are sticky, but is it enough to stop those huge robots? It must be if he scored enough points.

Who knew. He could just be a genius in disguise.

But if there is no Mineta there would have to be someone there to replace his perversion.

The car came to a stop and Kuro dutifully opened the door for the teenagers.

"I wish you a good first day, young masters"

"Thank you Kuro"

The two watched as the car drove off before turning to the massive building towering over them.

"Well.. "

"Let's go" Shino walked passed the gaping Sora.

As Shino stepped into the building a small map appeared in her vision. There were multiple dots on the surfaces. Three blue dots and two red. The three blue dots represented Katsuki, Izuku and Momo. The red were the newly arrivals. Shino had activated the quirk so she wouldn't get lost. Although she could find her way by following their scents.

Stuffing her hands down her pockets Shino made her way through the school. She led Sora down various halls, passing various doors that we're extremely massive. She understood that it was meant to accommodate anyone, but weren't they overdoing it?

In a minute the two arrived at one of the massive doors.

"This is our stop" Shino said and casually slid the door open.

In front of her Izuku was trying to defuse the situation with Katsuki and Iida. Momo was interacting with the girls and someone was sat in a corner drawing.

Shino immediately noticed new faces. She counted four. Two boys two girls.

Mineta was not there as she somehow expected.

There was the girl drawing in one corner. One look at her told Shino that she wasn't one to get involved with others. She had short brown mousy hair that was in a disarray. Bangs were blocking her entire left eye and only one hazel one was in view. She seemed too invested in her drawing to care about anything going on around her. Those big eyes never once left the page she was busy on. She was very small and barely noticeable.

Quirk: Artist reality

Quirk description: Artist reality allows Rei to bring any drawing to life. It does not matter on what surface she draws or how good the drawing is, it can be brought to life. The better the drawing the longer it lasts and the better use it is. The drawing takes on all aspects of the item or organism it is modeled after.

Weakness: Anything that can harm paper. Ie. Water and fire

Drawbacks : The maximum amount of drawings she can animate are six. If she passes this limit she could experience pain in the hands and eyes or get delusional.

Explains a lot then.

Looking away from the girl Shino spoted a free seat in the last row and didn't hesitate to take her place. The situation between Katsuki and Iida was still ongoing and the rise of voices was annoying her.

"Katsuki get your feet of the table and stop being so loud. It's annoying"

Katsuki glared before doing as told with an angered expression.

"Stupid sloth"

Iida looked a bit surprised by the change. He had spend almost thirty minutes trying to get Katsuki to listen and Shino did it in an instant.

"My name is Iida Tenya. Thank you for taking care of that situation"

"I'm Shino Kiddo. Don't thank me. He was annoying me so I would have handled it anyways"

"Good morning Ino " Izuku cheerfully greeted as he took the seat in front of her.

Shino rest a hand under her chin and observed the other unknown faces.

A boy with jet black hair was in an animate conversation with Kaminari. Those golden eyes of his glimmered with cheerful excitement as he talked enthusiastically. He was dressed rather neatly with his hair directed to one side and tie perfectly situated.

Name: Daichi Tagawa

Quirk: Pinpoint

Description: Pinpoint allows Daichi to teleport towards his keychains, no matter where each of them is. The distance does not matter for as long as the keychains remain "marked" by him he can easily teleport to them. He can also take anyone or anything with him as long as he is in physical contact with them.

Weaknesses: Pinpoint has no specific weaknesses

Drawback : Overuse causes intense migraines, bodily pain or dizziness

Shino looked away from the words and located the three keychains. They was attached to his backpack. Each of them was a different animal. A red lion. A silver wolf and a white fox.

Shino's eyes then drifted to the group of animated girls. She focused on the dirty blonde amongst them and was pretty surprised to read the name.

"Huh. I did not expect that"

Quirk: Light refraction

Description : Light refraction give Toru the power to refract light as she wishes. The quirk can be used to possibly blind an opponent or if she willed it so, make her invisible.

Weaknesses: There is light everywhere and at all times of day, but the quirk is less useful or powerful at night or in dark places.

Drawbacks: Overuse of quirk causes her to unwillingly refract light from herself for an hour, therefore rendering herself invisible. She also receives slight burns and increase in temperature

"That's an interesting twist "

The last new face to be identified found himself in a conversation with Tokoyami. Shino could hear the conversation loud and clear, but was only focused on the information piling up in her vision.

Gender: Male

Hair color: Aqua blue

Eye color: Black

Quirk: Cache

Description : Cache gives Akio the ability to change one melee weapon into another. A small pocket knife can be transformed into a katana with practiced ease.

Weaknesses: Akio cannot turn any weapon into a firearm, even a firearm itself

Drawbacks : Muscle pain in the arms if overused.

Shino looked away once the information was gathered. She sighed and rested her head against her desk.

"An artist, a teleporter, a living melee arsenal and an altered quirk" Shino smiled in both amus.e.m.e.nt and excitement. "Interesting change of plot. I wonder how it will play out"
