To Be A Hero: A MHA Fanfic

"It's me! Coming through the door like a normal person"

Nothing about the way All Might burst through the door was normal, at all. He was loud enough to throw Shino's thoughts of sleep out the window. Shino sighed once she saw him. She was hoping to get as much sleep as possible before foundational heroics studies. She probably shouldn't have created two quirks in one day. It left her drained and there was nothing a full night sleep could do about it. While most of the class were starry eyed Shino didn't seem all that impressed. Mostly because her plans for sleep was crushed the second the hero stepped into the class.

"Nothing about your entrance was normal"

Shino turned on some music in her headphones just so she could prevent herself the pain of All Might's loudness. It's not like she needed to hear what he was saying. She already knew what was about to go down. Sora did as well and Shino was actually watching to see if he would actually burst with the excitement he was trying to contain.

"In this class we'll be building up your foundational hero studies through various trials! "

Yeah, it was kinda obvious with the name and the person teaching it. Shino was disappointed she could still hear him. At least it wasn't as clear as she would have had she not turned her music on.

"We'll jump right into it with the trial of battle! "

Shino wondered why he had a card displaying battle.

"This is your first battle and as such you are allowed to wear the costume we have prepared for you. We've done our best to match your request to match your quirks"

Everyone was excited about the prospect of doning their hero costume. Even Shino had a smile of excitement on her face. She hoped they met her request. Her suit needed to be practically indestructible. Fire proof. Water proof. Stretchy. Thin but strong material. Everything to match her quirk.

Shino payer no attention to whatever else All Might said. The second he told them to retrieve their costumes and get changed Shino was already reaching for her case.

She was the first in the girls changing room and immediately started to strip not even caring one bit.

First to go on was her ful body jumpsuit. The man color was black with intricate lines of silver and red around her arms and legs. She tested her movement along with the ventilation. The fabric felt smooth and soft on her skin. It was also very thin, but super strong. She was happy they met her standards.

Second piece of her costume to come on was the jacket. It was a shade of deep red and completely sleeveless. There was a black hood attached to it that was big enough to prevent anyone from viewing her face.

Third article of her costume was the silver and red arm warmers. They started where her jumpsuit sleeve ended just above her elbow. They had built in padings to soften any blows she may take. She followed up by pulling on a pair of black gloves with a built in webbing device that Shino came up with herself. She may produce webs on her own, but there is a limit to them. She starts to bleed from the wrists when she runs out of them. When that happens she would need time to produce some more.

Fourth to be put on we're her knee length red and black combat boots. They we're durable, light and pretty stylish. She loved the way her feet felt in it.

Next was the red silver and black utility belt. The belt was wide enough to cover part of her waist and contained multiple pouches that contained various treats and gadgets.

Lastly she made sure to put on the half mask respirator similar to that of Izuku. She didn't wear it over her face, seeing no need to at the moment.

"I look amazing" she sang and danced around in the chnaging room as the rest of the girls finally walked in.

"Wow, your outfit is so cool" Mina complimented as practically teleported to Shino and observed her from every angle. "Those boots are amazing "

"Thank you, they're my own design" Shino smiled a bit bashful.

"Wow, I hope my costume is as good as yours" Toru said as she opened her case. "I asked them to make it so it can become invisible with me. Otherwise I would have to go through a lot of trouble to stay incognito

"Genius idea, I hope it worked out" Shino adjusted her scarf around her neck loving how both her headphones and scarf fit perfectly with the costume. She tapped the tip of her boots on the ground before heading towards the door where she just casually leaned onto. "I'll guard the door just in case"

"I doubt any of the boys would try to get a look" Jirou said as she began to remove her blazer.

"Ya never know" Shino chuckled thinking back to Daichi. He is a pretty nice guy and super sweet as far as she could see, but he was a pervert. She caught him staring at multiple girls with a very perverted expression more than once. It seems that he's aware of his perverse behavior and tries very hard not to get distracted by the girls. Then there's Kaminari who used to rag along with all of Mineta's perverted plans, Shino knew the possibility of him trying such a thing was actually there.

Most of the girls were dressed in minutes. Momo was observing her own costume and seemed to be satisfied with the design. It was just as Shino had sketched out. A red sports bra with a front and back zip along with a pair of shorts with black intricate lines. She had a utility belt around her waist with the back bearing a pouch for her book.

"Ah, that reminds me" Shino jumped up and rummaged through her backpack. She soon pulled out a red and black tab and proudly presented it to Momo.

She took it with a very confused expression on her face. The second she came in contact with it, it fluttered on displaying the words "Yaoyotab".

"Yaoyotab? "

"The one and only. I made it for you. It took forever to get it right and I lost a set of tablets in the endeavor, but I did it. I designed the tab especially for you. It will only responed to you and me, seeing as I made it and all. It has all the information you would need about anything you need. It also has magnets so it doesn't fall out of that pouch of yours. I tried to make it as indestructible as possible "

"Thank you" Momo smiled happily as she ran her fingers over the tablet's surface.

"No thank needed" Shino smiled and leaned back against the door.

Soon everyone was dressed in their costumes and left the room.

Ren's costume was very colorful and animated. It had a number of colored drawings on it. The drawings ranged from some very odd looking creatures to some very futuristic weapons. Ren had a utility belt worn diagonally from her shoulder to waist. To WS filled with drawing materials of all kinds along with a sketchbook. To disguise her face she wore a reflective visor. All in all Shino could see the uses of everything in her costume. The drawings were probably made by her and would allow her to animate on the spot. The drawing materials had their very obvious use. The gloves she wore had a small container that she guessed held paint or ink. Her bots seemed to be the same.

The class met out on the field and started to compliment each other on their costumes.

Sora and Katsuki were in an argument over who's costume was better.

Sora wore a blue body suit with red down the middle with his initials on it. The bottom half of his suit consisted of baggy pantlegs thy we're tucked into his boots. The suit had a high color that he left up as he usually did with anything containing a collar. Like Shino he wore a utility belt around his waist. For a mask he adorned a scarlet domino mask similar to that of his mother.

He was very proud of his costume and made sure Katsuki knew it.

Daichi was dressed very casual in a pair of black and gold pants along with a high color golden shirt topped off with a sleeveless black jacket. He wore see through visors as a way to hide his identity. His three keychains we're attached to his pants and glimming in the light.

Akio was dressed in a damn tailored suit. The boy looked like he was going on a business trip. He wore an aqua blue dress shirt with the two top buttons left open. Over it a black tailcoat. A fancy pair of pants was held up by a fancy belt. He wore boots in similar fashion and around his waist was a sheeted katana. For a mask he wore a classy domino.

"Whoa, Kotoge what a fancy pants you turned out to be" Shino whistled as she approached the boy. "I like the katana too"

Daichi was looking through his classmates not sure where to keep his eyes. All the girls were dressed in tight outfits, except for Jiro, but she had her charm as well. Momo was a beauty. Tsuyu was freaking cute and the same could be said for Ren. Mina had her whole sporty thing going on. Uraraka is a natural airhead and that alone was adorable. Toru had curves in all the right places. Shino. Shino was somehow elegant and casual at the same time.

"Tagawa, may I ask what you're staring at? "Shino asked once she caught him looking at Momo with that perverted look on his face. His entire face lit up like a bulb once he realized he had been caught.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." He apologized rapidly and bowed so low his head was almost touching the floor.

Shino snickered. "It's ok. You are hilarious"

The class soon entered the huge artificial city and were amazed.

"Villain cleanup is usually seen publically, but everything actually happens indoors. Any intelligent vilain knows to do their job in the shadows. To stay out of the open and strategize. They have had to adapt to this hero society after all" All Might explained to his students. "For this test we'll be playing a game of heroes versus villains. You will split up into pairs of Heroes and villains and be evaluated by your actions"
