Chapter 46. Wu Qing

The weather at 10 a.m. was not bright.

Dark clouds were wriggling in the sky hiding the sun and the weather was also cold.

'I hope everything goes well.'

Looking at the sky outside the window, Ren thought as he sighed. He was feeling anxiousness as today was the day of recording for the reality show, Whiz stars.

-You are not nervous, right. I had heard that reality shows are hard.

His mother's voice echoed through the phone. He was currently talking with her.

"Don't worry, mother. It will be fine. It's just a reality show."

Although Ren said that, he was not sure if the recording will go well or not. It was his first reality show and he got nothing for the script.

The staff of the show wanted to get real reactions, so there was no script. They had glossed it over by saying that it was just a quiz show.

-Well, do your best in it. All of your cousins will see it. Your uncle and aunty has even bragged about you in their workplaces, so many people will watch it.

That put pressure on him. The matter about the drama isn't even clear yet. He wonder what will happen in the reality show.

He was just hoping that he would not mess up and can be natural.

White bear had even bought him a general knowledge book and had him memorise the capitals of each country.

"Okay, mother. I will do my best."

-Yeah, make your mother proud. Bye.

The phone ended with that. As he closed his phone, he noticed someone entering the room.

It was White bear.

"Ren, we are ready to go."

"Ah, yeah."

Ren stood up and followed White bear to the parking lot. In the way, they kept talking about their preparations.

"You are not nervous, right."

"Well, not as much as you."

Ren said that as he looked at White bear who was showing a nervous face. He was looking more nervous than Ren.

"Hehe, I can't help but worry. It's your first reality show appearance."

"Oh, Is Wu Qing here?"

Ren asked as he was curious about her. They had not met each other yet. So, he was curious about her.

"Yeah, she is in the van. She is a lot more beautiful than I thought. She even gave me an autograph."

White bear said as he talked excitedly about her. He was a big fan of her idol group, Tristine and Wu Qing who was the leader was his favourite.

"You really liked her?"

"Of course!"

White bear said with a certain face but Ren's next question put him in a troubled spot.

"More than me?"

"Ahh.....of course, I like you more."

"Really?"

When Ren asked with a raised eyebrow, White bear laughed as he said.

"Okay, don't joke with me. We are already here."

Their joking end there as they both reached the van. They saw a middle aged man standing besides the van.

He was Wu Qing's manager, Chief Shu.

"Hello, it's nice to meet you. Let's help each other today."

"Yeah, it's nice to meet you too, Chief Shu."

Ren and Chief Shu exchanged greetings and shook their hands.

"Let's go or we will be late."

"Okay."

Ren said as he entered the backseat of the van while Chief Shu and White bear took the front seats.

'She is really stunning!'

Ren thought as he entered the van. There was Wu Qing sitting there in the van and Ren was surprised by her beauty.

She was different than Xiao Rin who was a unbelievable beauty but was a little imm.a.t.u.r.e. She was a beauty that oozes s.e.xiness.

"So, you are Xin Ren. You looked less crazy in real life."

He knew that she liked to speak what is in her mind but this was too blunt.

It was good that Ren was composed and answered calmly.

"It's nice to meet you, Senior. Please take care of me."

Ren was treating her as a senior because she was older than him and has debuted early.

Although it was slightly awkward as Ren was in his 40s mentally.

"Don't say that. It makes me look older. You can just call me Sister Qing but only when we are alone."

"Ah, okay."

Ren was surprised by her demand but he didn't think about it much.

"So, are you ready for the show. You will not embarrass me, right."

"Well, I have prepared for some general questions but It would be better if there was a script."

"We can't do anything about that. Nowadays, only the top stars are given scripts. They would not bother with us. For them, only the content matter, they don't care much about our image."

Wu Qing said as she tapped her hands with her slender fingers. She then started telling him about her experiences of reality shows.

Hearing her experiences, Ren understood something.

Reality shows are like a battleground. You have to kill to survive. If you are boring and doesn't have much reactions, then they will completely edit you out.

The main thing is to be interesting and provide entertaining answers that can attract the audiences.

"You can not show that you are acting in there, you have to be natural in everything you do. If you keep hesitating, then the MC will not talk to you much."

"Thank you for your advice."

Ren was glad that Wu Qing was giving him advice, he was worried about her attitude but it looks like she was better than he thought.

"Well, I am just looking after my junior. By the way, Is it true that the CEO is looking out for you."

"Huh! I don't think so."

Ren was surprised by her question but he answered such as he was not sure about it.

"Well, you know there are rumours about it in the company."

"Yeah, there certainly are."

Ren said as he thought about the rumours surrounding him in the company. White bear had even told him that the number of people who want to befriend him has increased because of the rumours.

"Do you really don't know much or are you acting innocent? I know you are a good actor."

"Well, I really don't know about it. I don't know much. We have only met two times."

Ren said as he scratched his chin.

"Yeah, that. You are only in the company for a month and you have already met her two times."

"Is it abnormal?"

"Abnormal? You know I met her a year after my debut. She didn't meet just anyone. She was more of a person who control the things from behind."

Ren thought about her foxy smile she had showed towards him for a second but he just shrugged it over as he didn't wanted to think much about it.

"We are here."

As they were talking, the van suddenly stopped. They were already at the filming studio.
