Chapter 410 - S2 World 12.5

The morning came, and the sun rose very warmly. Welcoming everything under it, except Chase. The truth is, he couldn't sleep last night because of his big bed. All of his surroundings changed and so his environment. Even if he got a big room that seemed to be the size of his abandoned and old castle, he still couldn't make himself comfortable.

He ended up sleeping late. Thinking of what to do when he faces the Emperor, his father, in this world. He couldn't stop thinking of different scenarios inside his mind. He even imagined the Emperor pointing a sword straight at him just to make him agree to that proposal, or maybe the Emperor was now so weak that he couldn't leave the bed anymore.

According to the letter he had received. The Emperor stated that he had a very important and special proposal that only Chase can do. It left a big question mark on him. Getting him all confused and curious, who wouldn't dash back to his home if he received a letter like that?

When Chase felt the warm rays of the sun from the glass door of his balcony, he squinted his eyes. That's when he felt something heavy on his chest. He slowly lifted the blanket and saw Dion sleeping peacefully on top of him.

It made his lips smile. Just by staring at his cute sleeping dragon was enough to make his day. Though he had no time to stay in bed, because today is the day. He'll going to meet the Emperor and complete his mission.

"Dion? Wake up, it's already morning," he brushed the dragon's back as it slowly lifted its back and made a yawn. Its blue eyes meet Chase, blinking.

As soon as Dion realized that it was already morning, he jumped down from his master's back and stayed on the side of the bed. He waited for Chase to stand up before heading out of the bed too.

The guy picked up his blanket. He's used to fixing his bed early in the morning.

Suddenly, a loud knock echoed from behind the door. Chase gazed at it and uttered, "Come in."

The door opened, and five people entered. Two butlers and three maids. They all bowed their heads and greeted Chase. "Good morning, Your Imperial Highness, may the God of Alrein bless you,"

Behind them, Sir Alfred entered. He stepped forward among the maids and servants. "Good morning, Your Imperial Highness. These are your servants from now on." He pointed to each of them. "They are now the one who'll assist you the moment you woke up until your bedtime,"

Chase feels delighted upon seeing Sir Alfred. At least he had someone he could trust. He still doesn't know every part of the Palace, and who knows if some people here are also planning on silencing him. His brother, the Crowned Prince, was assassinated after all. If he wants to do this mission, he needs to be careful and survive.

One of the maids bowed her head, "Your grace, the bath was already prepared. The food was already served downstairs," she said in a graceful manner.

Sir Alfred took out his pocket watch and checked the time. His brows furrowed a little. "Your Imperial Highness, please hurry. The Emperor will meet you today."

Hearing that, Chase flinched and his hands quickly let go of the blanket he's been holding since earlier. "Y-Yes! I will go now," he replied.

"Is the food to your liking, Your grace?"

The Palace's head chef bowed his head as he asked Chase. It was the first time he met Chase, and he's not sure if this Prince will like the way of his cooking.

"It's very delicious, thank you," Chase replied with a smile on his cheeks while munching the last piece of his breakfast.

That smile made the head chef blush. Such a beautiful comment from a majestic person. He watched every thread of the Prince's golden hair while he munched gracefully. Even in his morning look, Chase is indeed handsome.

"It is my honor to accept such comment from His Imperial Highness,"

Chase headed straight to the bathroom after having his breakfast. He removed his white robe and dipped his feet first before finally stepping down into the tub. The maids who were bathing him were blushing their cheeks upon seeing his body.

Chase isn't that very masculine. He had this frail white skin and golden hair paired with his jewel like gold eyes. A normal height and body physic. Though the maids kept on saying that His Highness had a feminine aura and handsome face. They couldn't help but scream how pretty the Prince is.

"Why is everyone like that to me?" Chase mumbled to himself. He leaned his head on the tub head and let his eyes watch the ceiling. Everything in this room was white and gold. Even the sides of the mirror were gold.

'Chase must be very rich,' he mumbled, referring to the real Chase.

After taking a bath, the maids assist him again. Then a seamstress entered the dressing room with a new pair of clothes. She told the maids that they should let Chase wear it because the Emperor ordered it.

Chase remembered her face. She visited the abandoned castle the day before his departure. 'So that's her reason, huh?' he mumbled.

Since it was his father, the Emperor, who ordered it, he didn't protest. He just watched the maids groom him in front of the big mirror in his dressing room. Although shy, Chase couldn't do anything but feel embarrassed every time the maids complimented him.

He will just remain silent and let them do their jobs while praying to finish sooner. Standing for like half an hour in front of the mirror is no fun. Especially when these maids are very sociable, unlike him, who prefers to stay inside the room all day with Dion.

The empty presence of something jolted through his mind. From the middle of the room, Chase shifted his eyes towards the open window. He widened his eyes when he fully remembered it.

"Where's Dion? I haven't seen him?"
