Uchiha's Butterfly

The rest of the celebrations went on rather calmly but had to be located in another chamber. The guests were stopped from getting out of the palace by the guards, soon the Fire Daimyo joined them.

"My son, step forward" the old and tired voice ordered loudly.

Raion kneeled before the form of his father hidden behind a thin paper screen.

"Are you ready to sacrifice your life to rule this country to its future?..." Raion answered affirmatively, "Are you willing to put everyone you love in danger for the betterment of the Fire Country?... Do you promise to hold the position of Fire Daimyo till you find a better person to hold this cursed duty?" the Daimyo asked in a calm quiet voice.

"I can't promise the last one father, you are leaving the position being the best person for the job" Raion answered.

"Hmph… Like father like son…" old-man had a smirk on his face, then with a loud voice heard for everyone in the chamber, he voiced out "Then I the Third Daimyo of Fire Country, hereby proclaim you Raion, my successor, the Fourth Daimyo of Fire Country. Now stand and bow to anybody no more."

Raion stood up and turned around to the guests, every single one of them was kneeling before the new Daimyo, except four people in the front that were bowing their heads - the representatives of the other major countries.

'Ehh… At last, my job is finished' Kaname thought silently retreating from the chamber.

"Wait! Kaname-onee!" a small black-haired bullet hit her headfirst right in her kidney.

"Guh! What's up Mito-chan?" she asked while massaging her new aching place.

"Are you leaving already Onee-san?"

"*Sigh* Yes, there is a chance a bad person is doing mean things to innocent people. I must stop him" Kaname patted her head.

"Will I ever see you again?" Mito asked with tears growing in her eyes.

"Hmm, you know what? I promise you that I will come back with my Naruto-kun in a month. Ok?"

"Hehe, sure. Bye-bye and kick the bad people's asses from me as well!" the girl laughed running off.

"So you are going Kana-chan?" a woman's seductive voice asked.

"Yep, can I ask for a small favor Tōu-chan?"

"I can't go with yo-"

"Nah, it's something easier. Soon an Anbu team from Konoha will come to the city, most likely it will consist of a silver-haired dog-masked man, purple-haired cat-masked woman, and a third member I don't know off. Can you give them information that I located one of Orochimaru's hideouts? It's located two hours straight north from the Fire City"

"No problem, but how will they find you, it's not very specific?" Tōu asked.

"I will think of something, they will get here in about an hour"

"Isn't it better to wait for them then?"

"*Sigh* I just got a bad feeling about waiting, I need to go as fast as possible"

"Okay, but… Be careful out there, okay sunshine?"

"I will" Kaname replied, she took the last look at the new Daimyo and noticed she was watching her.

Raion moved his mouth saying a silent "Thank you", Kaname nodded her head and left the chamber.

Donning her ninja outfit she set forth north. Two hours later Kaname stood right above the location her tracking seal pointed at.

'They're underground, color me surprised' she sarcastically thought. She backtracked from her spot as five minutes before she saw an entry to a deep ravine.

Ninjaing her way around the ravine walls she noticed closed gates leading to one of the caves.

'Hmm firstly let's try to sneak through, I don't want to break through those three jōnins chakra signatures, nor massacring through dozens of those chūnins before I scout the base… <Doton: Moguragakure no Jutsu>' (Earth Release: Hiding Like a Mole Technique)

Kaname jumped into the wall headfirst and disappeared into it. When she got through the rock wall to the other side the first thing she saw was a corridor with tens of doors on either side of it.

'Who would have thought I would find out the cells first…' she silently opened the first doors near her, inside she saw a dead decomposing body of a male between fifteen to eighteen years old, from the look he was dead for at least two to three months.

"F.u.c.k... Probably I will see a lot of dead bodies here" Kaname whispered under her nose.

She opened one door after the other looking for survivors, Kaname saw the same gory scene one after the other, males, females, ages didn't matter for the Snake-bastard, he took kids as young as two and old women in their eighties, everyone was chained to the wall. Leaving the last cell she emptied her bowel reminiscing the corpse of a failed experiment on a baby with the lower half of its body in the form of an animal.

She left the corridor by the last doors inside the corridor. It was some kind of study room, with a metal table on one side and a desk with bookshelves on the other. With dread, Kaname noticed that the study room had ten other doors like the one she entered from.

'So many… Why?' Kaname walked towards the bookshelves, taking one of the books she noticed it was dedicated to one of the "test subjects". Putting the barbaric research results back, Kaname felt goosebumps as there are hundreds of such books on the shelves. Going to the desk, Kaname noticed a book unlike any other in this room, it was a lot thinner and had drawn figures similar to the one she made on the Shinigami.

'It seems he was researching into the Death God. I will gladly take it Snake-bastard' Kaname hidden the book in one of her storage seals.

'Is it possible for Maki, Anko or Misa to be here?' Kaname was brainstorming between looking further into the cells or to go through the doors behind which she feels her tracking target and tens of other chakra signatures.

'There is always a chance they're still here, alive and waiting' Kaname returned to the corridors. After searching through three other corridors and two other vomits, Kaname entered the fifth corridor, instantly she heard the voice of a groaning man.

'A survivor?!' Kaname dashed to the cell from which the voice came from. Inside she saw a man raping a blonde-girl barely her age, the girl's eyes were dead, she wasn't showing any emotions. Kaname with a roar pulled the man by his hair and cut off his head. She walked towards the empty-eyed teen.

"Do you want me to save you and find you a new home or do you want me to end your suffering?" she whispered the question.

"...kill" replied the girl voices, just above a murmur.

"I'm sorry I was too late to save you, I will make you lose your consciousness. Good Bye"

"...thank you" murmured the girl.

"*Sniff* No one should live through shit like this…" Kaname with a single tear in her eye used her sword and cut through the artery, peacefully ending the life of an innocent girl.

Kaname looked through almost every cell in the corridor, every time she saw similar corpses, each cell was occupied by a woman, those prisoners were mostly used as the s.e.x toys for Snake-bastard goons. Kaname stopped before the last cell, the odor of decomposing corpse coming from behind the closed doors was massive, opening the doors she saw something that would forever stay in her memory as her one of the biggest failures.

Inside she saw a bloated decomposing body of a thirteen-year-old teen, half of the body was being eaten by worms and rats. The body's eyes were gouged out, one of her arms was cut off.

'խৎ…' a voice inside Kaname's mind whispered.

Her lower body, now half-eaten, had traces of intensive ****.

'ዌϭϫ… שعըરৎⷚৎըյ…' an ancient voice was murmuring.

On the woman's cheek, one could notice a deformed red claw-like tattoo.

"ϧതરռ!" her mouth said the words she didn't understand.

Kaname's mind exploded in burning fury, her heart was swallowed by the darkness, then she lost her consciousness.

PoV change:

Orochimaru-sama spared my life three years ago and promised me power bigger than that of a leader of a small Fuma Clan. I was dispatched as the protector of his biggest lab in Fire Country. Well, maybe it was a lab once, now it's only a death pit, for Orochimaru-sama's victims.

"Hanzaki-sama! We have got a problem!" yelled out my subordinate that I promoted to be my official bootlicker.

"*Sigh* I don't care there is someone in front of the gates. It's probably just the team returning from the mission in the capital"

"No, Hanzaki-sama. There is only a single ninja back that returned heavily wounded"

"What?! They had the cursed marks put on them, they were on the jōnin level! Lead me to the survivor" I ordered, leaving my office.

"There is something else. I believe he is in shock, he is repeating something about a red-eyed devil"

"Ah shit, something must have happened there. Did the package was successfully delivered to Orochimaru-sama?"

"Yes, Hanzaki-sama. I received the message straight from Orochimaru-sama's medic that the operation went successfully" he replied.

"Good, ask the doctor to finish with the girl, we don't need her anymore"

"Yes, Hanzaki-sama"

Inside the main chamber, I noticed a man screaming in fright, both of his arms were cut off.

"Silence! Tell me what has happened, did you successfully finished your mission?"

"No, the red-devil killed everyone! She butchered us like pigs!" the man was crazy.

"How did you get out? Were you not followed?" I asked.

"The red-devil-"

"Silence! At least act like a man and answer my question!"

"I don't remember how I got out, but I stopped every now and then to check if no one is following me" the scared man answered.

At least this idiot didn't get followed. But I should ready my sword, there is always a chance.

The next two hours went normally until the entire lab was penetrated by a woman's wail coming from the direction of the cells.

"What is going on here?" I asked one of my ninjas after returning to the main chamber. I noticed everyone was looking at the metal doors leading to the cells, they were becoming redder and redder, until they started to melt. A girl's silhouette walked through the doors, behind her was a sea of flames, each step she made left flame-like liquid that burned on the stone floor. Just then I saw the sclera in her eyes were black, there was only a bottomless nothingness when you looked at those eyes, no irises, no light only darkness.

'F.u.c.k… Time to earn a living' I walked forward.

"You ventured into wrong place pipsqueak" I wasn't sure it's best to antagonize unknown ninja, but whatever, if I survived Orochimaru-sama's onslaught for some time I can deal with such small woman.

"שϭ ؏ϫ שعըરৎⷚৎը ८ത ⷚ ؏յ? խ ϫϭത ⷚ שϭ ؏ϫ שϭതلש" she replied slowly drawing her sword.

'Never hard this language in my life, but it seems she wants to fight'

"This sword… Did you take it from my late subordinate?" I saw her slowly slashing my way.

"Ha! You won't get me with such poor swing" I used my zanbatō to block the feeble slash. The next moment I heard a sound of a bigger part of my cut cleanly sword on the ground. My vision started to sway sideways as I smelt the odor of burned skin, firstly the lower part of my body fell than the one I still had some control of. Turning my head I noticed that my legs and the better part of my belly was lying three steps away from me, I was still alive because the slash cauterized my wound. I looked into the bottomless dark pit of my enemy's eyes. F.u.c.k she really is the devil.

She walked above me, did she left me to die slowly? Then the flames reached me and agony started.

"խ ϫϭത ⷚ ט ؏յعل. ᔠখϭ ৎש 〆ט ט ؏ത?" Kaname asked without any emotions in her voice and started the massacre, the entire chamber was in flames. The black-eyed teen stood before her last enemy.

"What are you?" he asked.

"ዌյع" she answered, ending another life with just her voice. She made her way to another room where she felt two other beings.

Leaving the main chamber all the flames instantly went out. Inside the room, a man in a white coat stood above lying woman.

"؏յ שϭതلש, ըϭ؏յ ⷚᔠعરዌ. שعըરৎⷚৎըյ ϫϭതર שϭതلש ט שখৎףع؏ৎ," she said looking at the man.

"Kana?" the woman asked weakly.

"ৎ ዌ ϫϭത ըϭ؏յ ؏յ!" Kaname's voice answered in ordering tone.

The man was frozen to the ground, not understanding what's going on, the next moment his head was rolling on the ground.

"Kana-chan is that your voice?" Kaname looked at the long-haired woman with gouged out eyes.

"խع؏յ שϭതل ৎש ؏յ!" she caught the woman by her throat rising her above her head.

"*Cough* It's me Misa!" the Hyuuga coughed out.

"Mis- ϭठ! ৎ ᔠعש عט لع لյט ϭതט!" Kaname replied strengtening her grip.

"It's working… Kana, don't you remember me? I'm your friend Misa, Anko and Maki are alive waiting for us!" Misa replied with her face red because of a lack of oxygen.

"عՌko, Misa, Maki… ռϭϭϭϭϭaaaah" Misa landed on the crouching Kaname vomiting black substance.

"What has happened? Where am I?" Kaname looked around, then she noticed a weight with two big bulges pressed to her back.

"Kana-chan are you alright?" Misa hugged her friend.

"Misa? Wait! Your eyes!"

"Yes, they took them away. You just saved my life, I was just a minute before I would get a fast-acting poison delivered to my veins. Now it doesn't matter, we need to get out of here, there are Anko and Maki in the cells"

"Stay here I will get Anko and we will leave together okay?" Kaname asked.

"What about Maki-chan?"

"I'm sorry I was too late, I found her… dead" Kaname replied sadly.

"So that's why… It wasn't your fault Kana-chan. Go find Anko-chan, she was making a ruckus all night yesterday, I know she is there somewhere"

"If I was here faster than I could have saved her, I always f.u.c.k up when it matters the most!"

"No, you don't. You saved my life and now you will save Anko's" Misa replied.

"But you lost your sight!"

"Kana-chan… *Sigh* Come here" Maki hugged her as tightly as she possibly could, "You saved my life. Never forget that"

"... I understand, thanks. For now, I will get Anko-chan here, and we will leave this cursed place."

Kaname entered the main emptied chamber, she noticed that below her feet instead of stone there was glass, the main gates she saw before were now melted to the half their size, giving the chamber some light from outside.

'Did I do that?' Kaname couldn't remember.

Kaname entered the cell corridors looking for any traces of survivors. Opening the second to last doors she got attacked by a violet snake.

"Hey Anko, good to see you again!" Kaname greeted her long lost friend, while she herself was getting gripped by a snake.

"Kana?" the black-haired woman with every limb chained to the wall asked.

At the same time in the Sound Country.

"Orochimaru-sama, I will take the bandages off now" a silver-haired boy informed. Rolling the bandages off Orochimaru's head.

Yellow snake-like eyes of the Sannin were now replaced by pale blue ones with vertical black pupils in the middle.

"Fufufu, good job Kabuto-kun," Orochimaru said, observing the world with better clarity than ever before.

"Thank you, Orochimaru-sama. There is something else, I lost contact with your biggest base in Fire Country"

"Oh? And what happened there?" the Sannin asked.

"I received the summon messenger, I didn't get much information before it dispelled, it seems they were attacked by an unkown force"

"Pity. Anko-chan was there. Now, what about the plan of acquiring Sharingan for me?" he asked.
