"Kaname-sensei, what are you doing here?"

"I'm on a mission from Jiji, there is an envoy from Kumogakure coming to sign the alliance between our villages Hayate-kun"

"Hmph I hate those murderers from Kumogakure" the second gate guard replied.

"And you are?" she asked.

"Motoki Tamotsu, madam!" the kid stood at attention.

"Firstly, I'm not a madam. Secondly, you did not fight in the war so why do you hate the Kumogakure shinobis?"

"I heard about what they did while our villages were fighting, Uchiha-sama"

"*Sigh* So just because you heard the rumors you feel hate towards them, do you even imagine what our village did? Of course, you don't know, we were slaughtering our sleeping enemies like pigs, what do you think they think of us?" she asked.

"Eh… I, I'm sorry" the boy bowed.

"Hehe, Kaname-sensei don't traumatize him, he started the gate duty yesterday" Gekko interrupted her.

"You know me enough, I don't like when someone spouts bullshit thinking they ate all the brains. Now, I hope our guest won't feel any hostility from you two?"

"We will be fully professional, I promise. I'm more worried about you Kaname-sensei" he replied smirking towards her.

"Shut up tyke, I will be gentle as long as this rat from Kumogakure listens to my counsel, I don't want him to end up with a kunai sticking out of his forehead." she spat.

"Wow, what's with this animosity Kaname-sensei?"

"I have more interesting things than babysitting a ninja, I was invited to a party with Naruto-chan."

"Is it him?" the boy listening to their conversation pointed at closing in silhouette.

"Full professionalism boys, don't ask redundant questions."

Kaname watched a slim man in his late thirties, he had dark hair with a goatee. Kumogakure ninja wore a standard dark-grey flak jacket with thick padding near the shoulders and the neck. The top of his head was bandaged, the forehead protector was skewed hiding his right eye.

"Welcome to Konoha! My name is Kaname Uchiha, I was tasked to be your guide by Hokage-sama" Kaname greeted the traveler.

"He sent the Vampire of Konoha for a greeting? Is it some kind of a powerplay?" the man asked.

"You're wrong on both fronts, shinobi-sama. I'm here to give you a safe passage towards the Hokage-sama's office, your outfit still could call forth attacks from the side of my village's veterans, as much as if I was in your village wearing an Uchiha symbol" Kaname explained.

"And the second?"

"Probably Kumogakure not received the update yet in their Bingo Book, but I had gotten myself a new nickname. But it's not for me that you came from so far away, please follow me as I will lead you towards Hokage-sama's location" she replied politely.

'Hmph, at least you could give me a name…'

"I understand, I'm the Head Ninja of Kumogakure, please remember that any attack towards me would ruin any chances towards an alliance between our villages."

"That's why I'm here, shinobi-sama" she lead him through the gate winking at two boys, 'I hope Jiji prepared everything'

After awkward twenty minutes of stroll and trying to get the older ninja to respond to her chat-up lines for more than one sentence, she gave up walking past the Jōnin Standby Station, as it is next to the academy and Hokage's office.

Looking at the highest window of the jōnin waiting building she noticed that two people tried to hide behind the wall. A piece of someone's arm in tight green spandex suit was showing, on the other side of the window, a patch of silver hair was sticking out.

'Heh, these two will never learn. I'm not someone who needs babysitting. Still, thanks for being worried'

Turning the corner a big group consisting of an entire Shinobi and Civilian Council was waiting for them, the jōnin from Kumogakure was greeted with fanfare and confetti dropping from nearby buildings. Kaname led him towards the old man through the crowd of clapping humans, noting that from every clan leader represented here, the Hyuga's were absent.

"Welcome our esteemed guest, our village was waiting for you and the treaty we will sign today" Hokage greeted him, while Kaname made her way to stand behind the old man.

"Thank you Hokage-sama, it is the best time to strive towards the alliance, both of our villages are looking forward to it"

'A lie hid in truth?' Kaname began to learn to discern when someone's lying without the use of her Sharingan. Kumogakure's ninja's face for just a moment shown contempt towards the Hokage, after which it was covered by a fake smile. Looking at her and Anko's temporary teacher, she noticed that Ibiki was sizing the Kumogakure ninja squinting his eyes in suspicion.

'*Sigh* I hate those shady types, why is it always so confusing… I should make sure he will not try to do anything stupid before the treaty is signed' she thought to herself.

"Thank you, my friend, let us move atop the tower, as it is the only place that can allow everyone here spectate this historical moment" Hokage turned around his heel and walked past Kaname.

"Why are you still here Kana-chan?" he whispered.

"I'm borderline sure he lied about something Jiji, I will stay here" she muttered back.

"*Sigh* Do whatever you need"

Kaname moved away from the main crowd of Civilian Council members and walked towards Ibiki.

"Did you saw that Kaname-san?"

"Yes, he lied through his teeth, but I'm not sure about which part Ibiki-san"

"Neither am I, we should be extra careful around him, he is a jōnin, do not underestimate him"

Kaname nodded in acknowledgment and discreetly made her way in the direction of Fugaku.

"Weren't you invited to the Hyuga's party? You don't have much time to dilly-dally here" he asked.

"I can't tell you the details, there are reasons I need to stay here. And I will send a clone to get everything ready when this crowd of civilians will leave us"

"Don't do anything stupid, I won't be able to protect you if you bring on an international incident" his voice was stern.

"You know me Fugaku-sama, I'm not such kind of a person"

"I know you enough to beg you not to do it Kana-chan. If you need to stay here than come, stand at my side" Kaname followed him after she sent a clone home.

Weirdly the signing went without any problems, half an hour later old-man persuaded the Kumo jōnin to take a day's break in his residence, he was escorted out of the building by a team of Anbu.

'Was it false positive? Maybe he was just nervous? He is under the protection of Anbu, and I'm freaking late…' Kaname flickered away.

"You are late!" Kana-1 yelled at her.

"Give me a break, it's my first time when my clone is screaming at me, why is Naru-chan sleeping?"

"Here are the pants and shirt, get changed now! We raised Naru-chan to be pigheaded, he stubbornly believed that the orange tracksuit is the best for the occasion. I'm not sure where he did found it, I think someone gave it to him having bad intentions. Wait? Why am I explaining it to you?" Kana-1 asked.

*Poof*

"*Sigh*... Wake up Naru-chan" she shook him awake.

"How you make me sleep easily Sasa?"

"I will teach it to you someday, ready?"

"No! I need to get the tracksuit ~dattebayo! He said it shows how cool I am-"

"Naru-chan, it reeks of garbage, do you want Hinata-chan to think you smell?" she interrupted him, throwing the piece of cloth out of the boy's reach.

"No, but-"

"I promise you, tomorrow we will go meet the man together and ask him correctly if he has more tracksuits, okay?" Kaname asked with a sweet smile.

"Is cold outside Sasa? I felt this freezed wind from somewhere?"

"You're only imagining it, and the right word is 'freezing'. Are you ready?"

"Let's go ~dattebayo!"

"Hold on, we're late I will shunshin us halfway towards the Hyuga district" Kaname caught the boy under his arm.

"Shunshi-?" Naruto felt his stomach churning, his sight blacked out, leaving only a small spot of light in the middle.

A couple of seconds later Kaname's feet softly tapped on the ground, her flicker saved them at least twenty minutes of a stroll. Her thoughts were interrupted by Naruto's voice.

"Sasa… *Bleeergh*" he threw up.

"*Shh* It's a normal reaction to the first <Shunshin no Jutsu> Naru-chan" she held his head down, and when he stopped puking she cleaned his face with a handkerchief.

"*Cough* What was that Sasa?"

"A special type of jutsu, it allows for very fast movement towards a specific target, but it can cause massive disorientation"

"Why?"

"Such speed is inducing tunnel vision Naru-chan, it scrambles the signals in your brain" she explained.

"What is tunnel vision ~dattebayo?"

"Tunnel vision is the loss of peripheral with retention of central vision, resulting in a constricted circular tunnel-like field of sight" Kaname replied tugging on Naruto's cheek.

"Eh?... Teach me, Sasa!" From his face, she knew that Naruto did not understand a single thing she said.

"Hehe, I will, but you must defeat my clone at least once"

"*Blah* I will never defeat you" he replied with a chagrin.

"Never say never Naru-chan. We're getting close to Hyuga district, look, isn't this aunty Misa? Go say hello" she pushed him delicately towards her.

Naruto ran towards the blind Hyuga, and before she knew what is going on he jumped and hugged her at her waist, "Hi aunty!"

"Hi, Naru-chan. Where is Kana-" the girl patted the boy's head.

"<Konohagakure Hiden Taijutsu Ōgi: Kusuguru Ni Yorushi>" (Konoha's Secret Forbidden Fighting Technique: Death by tickling) Kaname flickered behind Misa and started to tickle her.

"Hahaha, stop it! Stop it Kana-chan, hahaha…"

"Muhaha! Give up Misa, I have got you under my control!"

"Stop, I give, hahaha, I give up!"

"Are you sure?" Kaname took a step back.

"Huhuhu, you fool, I have got Naru-chan, and I will not hesitate to use him!" Misa lifted the blonde in her hands, putting him between her and Kaname.

"Guh, a hostage situation. You win this time Misa!" All three of them laughed

"Hahaha… So why are you two so late? I was worried that something bad has happened" She put Naruto on the ground and let him lead her by his small hand.

"I'm sorry, there were some small problems and I was occupied by making sure that the alliance between Konoha And Kumo gets signed"

"Wow, Kana-chan, you got very influential. I'm pretty sure you are one of the most notable figure from our generation"

"Yeah! Sasa is bestest ~dattebayo!"

"Me? I'm just a new jōnin, there are many other ninjas my rank from our generation Misa, they are stronger and got their promotions way sooner than me. Just look at my brother or Doofus-kun"

"Sure, but neither of them have got cordial relations with every single clan in Konoha. Think about it, Kana-chan"

"Aunty, be careful, two steps up!" Naruto warned her.

"Thank you Naru-chan" she patted his head.

"Hehehe~"

"Kana-chan! At last, you are here!" Shiori smiled at her latest guest.

"Sorry, Kana-chan I need to go. Bye!" Misa hugged her friend.

"Bye Misa, we will pay you a visit after the party" Kaname assured her.

"Hi Shiori-san, thanks for inviting both of us" she smiled towards Hyuga matriarch, "Naru-chan go play with Hina-chan… and Sasuke-kun?" she whispered towards the boy, she did not have to wait long before he bolted towards the shy girl stealing glances towards them.

She walked side by side with Shiori when her eyes were covered by someone's hand.

"Guess who?" A female voice asked.

"I would recognize your voice anywhere aunty, and you wouldn't let Sasuke walk alone" Kaname smiled.

"*Tsk* It's hard to surprise you Kana-chan." she clicked her tongue in annoyance.

"Huhu, I told you so Miko-chan" Shiori laughed hiding her smile behind her fingers.

"Did you invite my mom as well?" Kaname asked.

"I did, unfortunately, sensei is working in the hospital at the moment" white-eyed female sadly replied.

"Shi-chan, I brought my Sasuke-kun here, should we play a little matchmaking between-"

"You're too late my dear, my Hina-chan has a crush on Kana-chan's kid"

"He is aunty Kushi-"

"It's only a child's infatuation Shi-chan" Mikoto interrupted Kaname.

"Huhuhu, you should listen to Hina-chan, her infatuation is the size of Hokage's Mountain and it's growing with her age."

"Hmm, I lost, good fight Kana-chan!"

"*Sigh* You did not even let me speak..." she complained.

"We know what you wanted to say, and both of us disagree. Now, Miko-chan from which month is Sasuke-kun, if I remember right he was born in June?"

"Close but no cigar Shi-chan. The older Itachi-kun was born in June, Sasuke-kun is from July. He is the oldest of the three, Naruto-chan's end of October is closer to Hinata-chan's December" Mikoto explained.

"Aunty Mikoto, is it true that Itachi-kun started teaching his brother some taijutsu?"

"Yep, they started their sparing in June I think, why? Is it too fast Kana-chan?"

"No, I just thought of something interesting, what do you think of giving both kids a friendly rival? We could arrange a sparing between them, not now it would end in a brawl, but maybe in three years or so"

"Wait! You mean you're teaching Naruto-kun yourself?! Damn, I will need to talk with Itachi-kun to go all out on Sasuke. Still, that's an amazing idea Kana-chan, it would push them both to get better wouldn't it?"

"Huhuhu, my little princess will kick the a.s.s of both of your kids" Shiori laughed.

"Okay, I doubt neither Naruto-kun nor Sasuke-kun will be ready to fight against the Gentle Fist… A defeat would do them both some good, hahaha" Kaname laughed.

"You bet! I don't want my duckling to get a big head just because he is an Uchiha"

"Listen, I have got an idea for the kids, let's say it's a gift from me"

"What do you mean Kana-chan?" Uchiha matriarch asked.

"I can give all three of them a flying tour above the Konoha, of course, one of you will have to stay with the kids"

"I'm first, Hina-chan is shy around strangers!" Shiori instantly stopped all complaints from her late teammate.

"Just say you want to do it yourself Shi-chan…" Mikoto replied, in reply pale-eyed woman cutely stuck her tongue out back at her.

Five minutes later Kaname summoned a dark blue butterfly outside the building.

"Hello Umi-san, can I ask you for a favor?" she asked the butterfly.

"Of course, I live to serve" the voice belonged to a trustworthy female that was dedicated to her liege.

"Thank you, I have my family that wants to see the village from high up, can you do that for me?"

"Your wish is my command Kaname-sama"

Umi was the size of a big room, Shiori and three kids easily sat upon her.

"No running up there!" Kaname ordered them, "Umi-san please keep them safe"

"I promise" the butterfly rose into the air with two swings of its wings and slowly gained height.

"Kana-chan"

"Yes, aunty?"

"I'm next" Mikoto demanded.

Half an hour later it turned out that kids liked the flight so much that Mikoto was tasked with taking care of them for the second round.

Kaname and Naruto came back home, after visiting Misa for an additional hour, when the sky was already black.

"How was your day Naru-chan?"

"Tired, I want sleep" the boy complained rubbing the back of his palm on his eyes.

"Hehe, okay go shower, I will prepare your bed and go for a run, okay?"

"Okay. Bye Sasa"

"Sleep well Naru-chan"

Kaname walked out into a cold December night in her training gear.

'Hmm, a run towards the mountain and back?' she asked herself. Kaname activated her Sharingan for the additional night vision and started jogging.

Doing a loop around the academy she felt small rocks bouncing off the top of her head. Jumping atop the building she noticed a silhouette wearing a dark obi designed for infiltration heading south-east.

'What would be a day without some incidents…' she secretly followed the spy to the Hyuga district.

'Is he trying to assassinate somebody?' Kaname launched herself towards the main building, but her question was answered a second later when the men left it with a big bag. She easily recognized the shape of a child fidgeting inside.

'Just an abduction attempt? *Sigh* He could abduct anyone from the district, and he takes the princess? Is he stupid? Okay, enough is enough' She flickered in front of him.

"Okay, mister. Now drop this wriggling bag on the ground and give up. We can still work it out." She ordered.

"Hehe, You will not stop me, kid. You are not prepared for combat"

"This voice… *Sigh* Was that your plan or Kumogakure is to blame?"

"Hoo, you are not half bad Uchiha"

"Drop the bag, please"

"You don't stand a chance against armed jōnin Vampire" he assured her.

"In a fight? You are right…" Kaname replied, '<Bunshin-no-Jutsu>' (Clone Technique)

He took out a kunai seeing Kaname creating a clone.

"I'm not going to fight you, I promise. Do you know what is written in the Bingo Book about me in the second row?"

"That you are a prankster?" Kaname's clone used hand seals for <Henge no Jutsu> (Transformation Technique), changing her vocal cords to imitate a young girl's.

"Hehe, now do you know what is more dangerous than a disarmed jōnin?" Kaname asked.

"?"

"KYAA! DADDY A PERVERT IS TAKING ME AWAY! HELP!!!" Kana-1 screamed in a girly voice.

"Tens of angry jōnin fathers. Have fun!" Before her clone stopped screaming Kaname flickered away.

"EH?!"

Instantly the entire Hyuga district lighted up, each Hyuga member easily located the man in black with their Byakugan. The district exploded with men launching themselves in frenzy from their beds, not even checking if their daughters were still at home. A second later Kumo jōnin was encircled by, as Kaname counted from afar 173, bulging pair of pale-eyes.

'Let's make sure that they do not kill him, we do not need another war…' she watched the lynching, 'Ah, if I only had some popcorn…'.

When the Clan understood that it was Hinata that was taken, Hiashi walked towards the man, his face told Kaname what he will do.

'It's time to act <Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu>'(Fire Release: Great Fireball) she launched an underpowered fireball between the two and shunshined there.

"Hi~ Hiashi-sama!" she waved her hand towards him.

"*Sigh* Why am I not surprised it is you Kaname-san?" he asked easily outshouting the murmuring her appearance created.

"I'm sorry, the call for help was my idea to catch the spy. What's more, it allowed your clan some leeway for revenge Hiashi-sama, but I need to stop this anything more could end up in a war between two greater villages"

"What do you mean? He tried to abduct my daughter!"

"I understand, but you pummeled him enough Hiashi-sama, I beg you to cease this and report to Hokage-sama at your earliest convenience, I will take this trash to him"

"But-" he was stopped by a two hands on his shoulder, one of it belonged to his twin brother the second to his wife.

"I understand, take him away before I do something stupid"

"Thank you for your understanding" she caught the Kumo ninja's leg and dragged him along the ground.

"Kana-chan, shouldn't you, I don't know, lift him up?" Shiori asked.

"Meh, he deserves it, bye-bye!" she disagreed disappearing around the corner.

'Lucky, the light is still on in Jiji's office' she walked vertically upon the wall towards the open window, and as always she threw the body head-first into the office.

"KANAME, WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS DOING THIS?!" Hokage yelled at her looking at the unconscious broken body of a masked man.

"Hehehe, you knew it's me even before I entered the room Jiji"

"Do you want to give me a heart attack?!"

"You don't need to worry, I would be close enough to save you"

"*Sigh* So who is it?" he asked.

"Our dear delegate from Kumo"

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!"

"I protected his miserable life, don't yell Jiji"

"Okay, start from the beginning"

"I was-"

"Kaname..." he murmured.

"*Tsk* Okay. You remember that I told you that this trash was lying this morning?"

"Yeah, and?"

"It was 'The best time to strive towards the alliance' that was his lie. It was the best time because Hiashi-sama's little daughter had a birthday today, so the protection around her was lax"

"He tried to take her?"

"I found someone sneaking through Konoha while strolling around, this moron infiltrated had to run through the entire village to get to Hyuga's district. Seeing him leaving the main building with a girl in the bag, I alarmed almost every Hyuga in the district. It was a lynch Jiji. After they investigated who did he abduct, Hiashi-sama was ready to kill him."

"And while they were mobbing him you were?"

"Watching, of course, it was to provide every possible proof for the later international investigation, surely not for funsies"

"*Sigh* Continue…"

"There is not much left, I stopped Hiashi-sama before he was able to deal the finishing blow, he did not know with whom he was fighting, then I dragged the assailant here."

"I understand… Anbu!" he yelled out.

"Yes, Hokage-sama?" A man in a monkey mask flickered towards Hokage.

"Take this trash to the cell and call the medics for him" he ordered.

"It could end very badly for Konoha, I can't say you did everything perfectly Kana-chan, but we can spin this. Good job. Remember that you need to get here tomorrow morning, I will give you a team assignment."

"Great, I just can't wait to babysit a triplet of genins" Kaname sarcastically replied.

"Good night Kana-chan."

"See you Jiji"

The next day Kaname awakened up after only three hours of sleep. Walking outside for her training she observed that the sky was deep orange devolving into dark blue color above her head, Konoha was hit by the first sun rays of the day. Kaname created five shadow clones and advanced to her practice of taijutsu combined with projectile dodging.

Two hours and a shower later, Kaname woke Naruto up and while he was in the bathroom she prepared breakfast. She left a clone to teach the boy some theory about weapon throwing and left towards the Hokage's office.

"Kana-chan?! What are you doing here?" Inoichi asked her, while she was entering the office through the window.

"Jiji in his endless knowledge made me a jōnin-sensei" Kaname deadpanned.

"*Harumph* I'm here Kana-chan" Hokage butted into the conversation.

"Yeah, I know Jiji..."

"Wow, nice Kana-chan! You almost broke Minato-san's age record of getting a team"

"Thanks, Chōza-san" Kaname greeted the Akimichi clan leader.

"Okay, shush!" old man silenced them, "Team 2, Hoheto-san, you will take care of them, it consists of…" Hokage listed out the teams one after the other, "... if you fail a team once more without a cause other than, 'because it's too troublesome' I will have a small discussion with your wife!" he threatened.

"I understand Hokage-sama, I will find a better reason to fail them" Shikaku bowed his head and left the room.

"*Growl*... Now Team 7, Kana-chan it's yours, as it's your first time I personally composed this team. The title of best ninja of this academy year went to Torune Aburame, giving you the best one, I had to give you the worst one as well, he is unfortunately from my clan, his name is Koji. After a debate with Sachi-san, we concluded that Izumi-chan would flourish under you the most. Go to them, remember to give them a test to check if the team is compatible"

"Hmm, not a bad team, I will work something out Jiji"

"Kana-chan the doors are on the other side of the room" Hokage admonished her.

"Hehe, I think she forgot that the classrooms are in the same building Hokage-sama." Inoichi laughed seeing Kaname jump out of the office.

"Just why all of my jōnins are so weird?" old man complained.

"Not everyone" Chōza replied eating his fifth bag of ch.i.p.s.

"*Sigh*..."

'Ah shit! Where am I going? A matter of habit...' Kaname stopped halfway to the Uchiha district.

Kaname got to her team as the last jōnin, opening the doors to the classroom she noticed that someone tried to pull a duster prank on her. She caught the falling duster and not stopping her hand she threw it towards the blackboard's rail, with a soft tap the duster stopped right where it should be.

"Nice, who is she?"

"Kaname-sensei?"

"Kaname-sensei?" the chorus of voices greeted her

"What's up kids?" she waved her hand.
