Uchiha's Butterfly

The group stopped in front of the round red building with a fire symbol on its side.

"Okay guys, we meet upstairs as always. Paku-chan, see the opened window up there? Follow me" Kaname jumped to the Hokage's office, Pakura heard the conversation of the kids that were left with her.

"*Sigh* Is it just me, or sensei does it on purpose to madden Old-man?" Izumi asked.

"No Izumi-san. Taking everything in the account, I believe Hokage-sama doesn't really mind sensei's conduct. In truth, I assume that he secretly cherishes it" the masked boy replied.

"Heh, then let's go through the window as well, it's faster that way"

"No Koji-kun. There is a saying: do as I say, not as I do. Your sensei asked you to go through the building most likely because she wanted to talk with Hokage-sama without you three. See you later kids" Pakura jumped to the office.

"Pakura-kun? What?" Hokage questioned baffled.

"Hello, Hokage-sama. Is your offer still on a table?" Pakura asked bowing to the old man.

"Kana-chan, what did you do now?!"

"Hehe, surprise? As I would like to apologize, you can take Paku-chan as my gift" Kaname replied relaxing on a sofa.

"...*Sigh* What's going on? Start from the beginning"

"..." Kaname got a nasty smile.

Sarutobi was squinting his eyes at her, she understood that he did not want to hear the same joke again, "Okay-okay Jiji. On my team's return trip, we found Paku-chan being attacked by a big squad of Anbu. With some luck, we were able to save her life"

"Anbu, from which country?"

"Iwagakure and Sunagakure Hokage-sama" Pakura replied.

"Hm? I can understand Iwa, but why were you attacked by ninjas from the Sand village?"

"I hope it will stay a secret between us, the last incident in Suna was invoked by Kazekage's plans. Do you remember Yashamaru-kun? He was an Anbu, Kazekage ordered him to kill Gaara-kun. With the betrayal and the following death of the only person that the boy liked, the Ichibi was let out upon the village. I admit that the emotions took hold of me, and I started to publicly berate Kazekage in front of the citizens… Only the day after I understood that I verbally attacked the leader of my village, the man that sent his late wife's brother to death like it was nothing. That day I received a post as an ambassador between two countries, week after week I was negotiating the trade deal between the villages. With time I noticed that the number of my escorts started slowly increasing. I sensed that someone is conspiring behind my back, but before I was able to run away I was betrayed. At that moment from gods know where Kana-chan came flying with help, and here we are" Pakura explained her story.

"Is Rasa-kun still aiming for his son's life?"

"No Hokage-sama. After Gaara-kun killed his caretaker, Kazekage assumed that his son will become a good weapon for the village"

"Sick f.u.c.k…" Kaname commented.

"*Snort*... How many Anbus were there?"

"I saw twenty-five Jiji, but many more were hidden around the forest. After the combat finished two of them fleed the battlefield, I scrambled with their brains, they will report that Paku-chan is dead"

"Wait, how many?!"

"Something between forty and fifty Hokage-sama"

"You want to say that two jōnins were able to defeat that many experienced ninjas?"

"Heh, they were uncoordinated Jiji, from the last thirty or so years they were from two opposing sides. What's more Paku-chan easily mummified half of them with her scorching orbs of doom"

"*Hmph*, like you're one to talk Kana-chan, you made them kill each other. Without you, we would be dead"

"Hmm, Kana-chan did you use-"

"Yep, I had to Jiji"

"*Sigh* Let me think… Okay, we can work it out. But we will have to move fast, I'm pretty sure that tomorrow I will receive a message to hand you over to Suna. Pakura-kun, the first thing you need to do is to go to the T&I department and as a missing-nin proceed through the standard procedure. I will play around Rasa-kun's demands for a while. When you switch sides and will become a Konohagakure ninja you will be under my protection. Everything will work out"

"Wouldn't it aggravate Kazekage? It could cause a war Hokage-sama"

"I'm sorry to say but Suna is considered the weakest of the great hidden villages, and I doubt that Rasa-kun is so vindictive to attack us because of one jōnin. Don't worry about it"

"...Thank you Hokage-sama. And you too Kana-chan"

"Not a problem Paku-chan, I doubt that you will be able to come to the party tomorrow? Naru-chan has his birthday"

"... I promise I will come next year"

"Before you let in your teammates Kana-chan, there is one more news for you. Have you heard of what's happening over our east border?" Hokage asked, seeing both women turn their heads sideways, he continued, "Many people are emigrating from Water Country, from the report I received this morning, they are telling a story about massacres happening all over the islands. It seems Yagura-kun is hunting down all bloodline limiters. The country is on the brink of civil war"

"Jiji. Is it possible that Akatsuki is behind this? Maybe they do not aim only at us"

"Yeah, these are my exact thoughts Kana-chan"

"Akatsuki? What is it?"

"I will tell you about them later Pakura-kun. Kana-chan get Team 7 here, I'm sure they're tired from standing behind the doors"

At dawn, Pakura marched to the infamous Konohagakure Torture and Interrogation Division, she was stopped by a young man in the chūnin outfit standing as a guard in front of the building.

"Hello Miss, how can I help you?"

"Hi, my name is Pakura… I know it might sound weird, but I was ordered by Hokage-sama to show up here today" she replied.

"Are you here to apply for a job?"

"No, I was asked to come for interrogation"

"Whose interrogation?"

"Mine"

"...Troublesome. You understand where are you, right?" Takeshi asked.

"Yeah, Konoha's T&I division"

"*Sigh* It's the first time in the known history that someone calmly walked here and politely asked to get interrogated. I hope it's not some kind of prank?"

"Pakura-chan?! What are you doing here?!" A woman's voice interrupted them.

"Oh, Anko-chan. Hi! I was asked by Hokage-sama to come here for questioning"

"You know each other Anko-chan?"

"Yeah, we met before. So, why are you in Konoha Pakura-chan?"

"Long story short, I'm to join the Hidden Leaf Village ninja force, Sarutobi-sama, and Kana-chan hatched up a plan for me to easily, as he called it, switch sides" When Pakura said Kaname's name, both women heard a loud *Slap*.

"You should have said so from the start…" Takeshi facepalmed, "Kaname-chan did way more troublesome things than that.".

"Heh, so that's why she said to mention her name… I see she is rather known in the village" Green-haired woman snorted.

"Yeah, I was her teammate back in the day. These were the best as the most c.u.mbersome days of my life. My name is Takeshi Nara, nice to meet you"

"Likewise-"

"Okay, stop flirting with her. Come inside Pakura-chan, I want to know everything"

Twenty minutes later Anko heard the entire story.

"Not that I mind it too much, but shouldn't you check if I'm speaking the truth?"

"Are you lying?"

"No, but…"

"Then I don't care. I will lead you to the examiners, they're to label your power. Just a small request, don't smite them too much, they're barely jōnins"

"Hehe, I can promise that I won't kill them"

Kaname slept in for too long, creating ten shadow clones just to prepare the prank took more chakra than she imagined. Standing from her bed she noticed that it's already 6 a.m. Dressing up for a morning jog she received the memories from the clone that was observing her latest victim. Her cheeks and ears instantly got red.

'Damn. I did not want to see my brother n.a.k.e.d. Umino-chan is a freaking l.u.s.t demon, Jiraya-san could learn a thing or two about pervertness from her… Five times, *Sigh* Aniki won't be able to move for the rest of the day...' she thought, shaking her head with the intent to delete those drastic images.

Opening the doors to Naruto's room she observed him sleeping with a smile on his face, 'Meh, he should sleep some more, he went to bed far too late yesterday'. Entering the kitchen she noticed her mother lying on the sofa reading a book.

"Hi mom, awake already?"

"Hi, Little Butterfly. Yeah, I'm going to the hospital in an hour. I was more worried about you, it is unusual for you to sleep in"

"Ah, I just overused the shadow clones"

"Hmm, so the prank worked? Pity I couldn't see it…"

"*Cough* Nope, I'm glad you didn't see the prank. Well, Umino-chan helped me with it in her own 'different' way…"

"Hmm? A different way?"

"Don't mind it! I must go bye!" Kaname ran away.

"But breakfast!" her mother shouted after her.

"Thanks, mom! I will eat later…" she shouted back waving her hand.

Slowly running around the Konoha walls, Kaname was lapped over many times by a man on his wheelchair and his son trying to keep up with him.

After twenty minutes of the constant yelling of "YOOOUUTHH!" she stopped the two.

"Duy-san, Guy-san. I need help with something, and you two are the biggest training freaks I know"

"Sure Kana-chan! How do I and my sluggish boy help you?"

"Pops! I was right behind you!"

"After my last mission, I noticed I need additional oomph behind my attacks. I'm good against single opponents, but a bigger number will tire me out. Can you help me again?" she asked.

"Hahaha! Kana-chan, you can ask for anything out of me" Duy laughed out loud.

"Really? Thanks! I won't be able to join each and every training with you two, because I need to take care of my team-"

"Not a problem Kana-chan, both of us will prepare a training regimen for you. I know what's going inside of your head pops!" the younger of the duo reassured her.

"Heh, okay. But I'm not wearing the spandex again" she replied to Guy's dismay.

"But… Youth…" he dropped his head nonplussed.

"Hahaha! You should have taken a photo while you could son…"

"Kana-chan!" A young man with a dog mask and silver hair interrupted them.

"Hi, Doofus-kun. What's going on?"

"My eternal rival! Ready for our next duel?"

"Not this time Guy, something bad happened, old-man calls for you posthaste Kana-chan!"

"I'm on my way!" Kaname flickered towards the office with Kakashi right behind her.

This time she stopped herself before she entered the office, all because inside she heard two distinct voices yelling at each other.

"...erything I do, I do it for you and Konoha! I order you to stay in the village!"

"Did you ever ask me for my own opinion?! I want to get stronger my way just to protect this village!"

'Hmm, Asuma-kun's voice?' Kaname thought.

"How will you protect it from so far away?! Did you not hear what happened?! I will not let you go!"

"That's why I'm needed out there! Every time something happens out of your way, you start to order me around like a puppet! Not this time, Daimyo's orders!"

"I'm trying to protect you!"

"See you never!" Asuma shouted at his father.

'Hmm, that was not nice… But it seems something major has happened.' Kaname slowly entered the office after she heard the doors slam. She noticed the old man hunched above his desk, he looked older than ever. Walking behind him she put her hand on his shoulder and lightly squeezed it in form of support.

"*Sigh* Thanks, Kana-chan. Have you heard us?" he asked sitting on his chair.

"Sorry, but half of the village heard you both yelling at each other"

"Okay, sit on a sofa. I have grave news for you" he answered, "an hour ago I received a report from the Fire City… Daimyo was murdered by an unknown assailant"

".. Raion-sama? And his family? What about Twelve Guardians?" Kaname asked worriedly.

"I'm sorry, his wife and daughter were found dead under the rubble of the palace. Eight of the Guardians were found barely alive, their status is undisclosed for now. Four of them were found dead."

"Mito-chan… Tōu-chan..."

"Tōu is still alive, but barely. Did you ever hear about Chiriku-san?"

"The warrior monk and apparent leader of the Guardians, I talked with him last month when I was visiting the city. Is he-"

"He is alive, before he lost his consciousness he was able to send me a request for help, with a description of what happened and looks of the murderer"

"*Growl* Who did that?!" Kaname growled out, her eyes blood red.

"We do not know his name, but Chiriku-san described him as Minato-kun with raven black hair and purple eyes"

"What?!"

"According to the report, the man entered the palace leaving behind him a trail of dead bodies, he called Raion-sama a usurper and used some kind of attack that destroyed daimyo's body. The following fight with Twelve Guardians took place outside the palace, the man's single attack flattened the palace, killing every living being inside. Chiriku-san told me that this impostor could kill each one of them, but he left most of them alive, because, according to the murderer, they are mildly important to the story development"

"Who is the Daimyo now Jiji?"

"Raion-sama's youngest brother" he replied.

"What a shitstorm… If people hear that it was Minato-san's lookalike Konoha will receive a major backlash. Is it possible that Danzo is involved? Or maybe Akatsuki is making its move?"

"I can't say, I don't have enough facts to provide you with an answer Kana-chan"

"*Sigh* What now Jiji?"

"New Daimyo gave out the invitations to all the jōnins off the Fire Country, you received one as well…" he admitted.

"Ah, so that's what this arguing was about. And no, I do not care about the position Jiji"

"*Phew* Thanks, Kana-chan. At least you're smarter than my son…"

"Sure, but I'm still going to Fire City as the relief force. They need good medics right now, I will take my team"

"What about Naruto-kun? The situation out there is not pretty."

"I will leave him with my mom, I don't want him to see death anytime soon"

"I understand, be careful out there. Raion-sama's burial will be executed in three days, I will meet you there" Hokage answered.

"<Kage Bunshin no Jutsu>" Kaname created three clones to inform her team about the mission, and another one for her mom. She ran back home to prepare for the four-day trip.
