Chapter 8 - Road to Strongest.

Five years has passed since Arthur was born, now he is 118.1 cm tall, lean with messy, golden, blond hair and light blue eyes. Throughout the years he spent most of his time reading books and studying the history of the world, he was surprised to find out that Bell Cranel's adventure will start in eleven years giving him enough time to prepare and get stronger. He also spent most of his time getting to know his family better, which consists of his Mother Rosanna Leonhart and his uncle Lionel Pendragon. Apparently, they migrated from the Rakia Kingdom and is now living in a village called New Haven, located near the edge of the Western Forest. He asked for the reason of their move but all they said is that they were chased out of the kingdom.

But enough of that, today was Arthur's birthday and when he woke up from his comfy bed, he was greeted by two notifications. One was the completion of his Quest, 'Reach the age of 5', and the other one was some sort of daily quest for him to do.

'What the hell? Navi what is this quest?' Arthur asked, shocked by the quest while sitting on top of his bed.

'Since you have completed the Main Quest: Reach the age of 5, this led to unlocking all the function available in the System, which includes the [Daily Quests]' Navi answered.

'Hmm the rewards are kind of a bit lackl.u.s.tre, but the warning seems really harmful…Navi do you know what type of punishment I'll get if I don't do the quest?' Arthur questioned, as he got off his bed to go change to his casual wear.

'I'm sorry Arthur but the System is restricting me to access the punishment section of this quest' Navi sadly responded.

'It's okay Navi, at least you tried' Arthur chuckled finally putting on his blue tunic and black pants, 'Beside I still got the rewards from the main quest! I'm sort of curious what is inside the Beginner Package'.

After putting on his brown boots, Arthur access the main quest to receive his rewards. What he received were 10,00 SP and a red box with a screen that says [Beginner Package] on top.

Arthur giddy from seeing the box accepted the box, causing the box to disappear and was replaced by three silver tickets, two golden tickets and one rainbow ticket. Upon receiving them Arthur got three notifications.

'Tickets can be used to get items or skills in the Gacha section of the System. The most common one is the Normal tickets which has low percentage to get a higher rank skills or items while the Premium tickets gives you a higher chance to get higher rank items or skills' Navi explained to Arthur before he could ask, 'There are also specific type of tickets you can receive like the skills tickets, which you already have, the weapon and armour tickets and the item tickets. For the ticket you have right now you will get a selection of three to choose from. But of course, you can also spend SP to use the Gacha, nevertheless I would not recommend spending SP right now as you have no other source to earn SP.'

'Thanks Navi, I'll us the tickets right away then' Arthur thanked Navi for the explanation before putting the three Normal tickets first in the Gacha, which looked like a roulette wheel. What he received were three orbs with different colours, two was grey, and one was blue.

Seeing the poor result of his first pull, Arthur couldn't help but sigh as he solemnly put the Premium Ticket in the wheel but seeing the outcome of his second pull sent a shiver down his spine, as what he received was a golden ball and a very rare and powerful skill.

Arthur couldn't help but smiled from the description from this skill as it could turn him to a monster in the future. Arthur, now trying to hold his excitement, finally use the last ticket of his [Beginner Package]. What he received where three orbs, one gold and two were rainbows.

Arthur pondered for a while before choosing the skill [Full Counter]. The reason for his choice was that none of the skill was very appealing to him. Arthur's goal was to get stronger and with the skill [Full Counter] he can use it as his trump card against stronger enemies.
