Unloved: The Abandoned Beauty

Overall, the weather conditions on this little island were usually pretty stable, it was primarily hot with a few months of wet season. There were rarely extreme weather conditions.

She would, however, often see somewhere in the distance, a storm.

The dark clouds covering the a small portion of the wide sky and small sparks of light would often strike down. It often looked like a beautiful painting.

After spending a large portion of the day making coconut milk....

Colette sat at a cliff at the edge of the island with her feet dangling above the rippling water.

It was a day unlike other days, because she was so productive.

She softly hummed a few songs before properly singing. A sweet voice echoed toward the vast sea.

Changing songs several times, she shifted from soft angelic singing to strong and powerful singing. It attracted some chimps whom gathered around her, at times they were energetically hooting along while others times they listened quietly.

And of course, Bobo sat by her side.

However, the peacefulness didn't last for long. The chimps started becoming restless, noticing this Colette stopped singing and observed her surroundings. Then, she noticed a large storm brewing closer.

She frowned at the unusually dark clouds, yes, storm clouds are always dark but this was the darkest she had ever seen. No. She had seen them before.

Her last life.

The brooding sky thundered so loudly it caused vibration all over the island.

This frightened many young chimps which she brought along to hide in a cave. On the way to the cave it started raining chaotically.

Heavy rain came down. Then it became heavier and even heavier.

It rained so heavily that it was hard to see clearly and the rain drops were falling like bullets, which made her skin sting a little. Fortunately, it was not hailing.

With all the excessive rain, the ground became muddier, making it difficult to walk. Colette and many chimps had already slipped several times along the way.

Colette gripped onto a tree as to not slip and squinted her eyes to see. She made out the shadow of the cave amongst the flickering white.

She turned around with glee and yelled at the top of her lungs for the chimps to follow. However, the rain had drowned out her voice. As she continued to make her way forward, she vaguely heard a large bang! Though she was unsure whether the sound was close by or not due to the rain.

'Perhaps the lightening struck something, somewhere on the island.'

Ignoring the faint sound she trudged forward, with one foot at the entrance of the cave.

All of a sudden, the rain ceased!

'... Just as I got to the cave...seriously.'

The brilliant sun shone down on the island, greeting the muddy mess it became.

The mischievous young chimps began to jump about in the puddles. It was giving the rain soaked Colette a headache, babysitting them.

Thankfully, many of the older chimps which had chosen to take shelter elsewhere came to look after their young. Which gave Colette the opportunity to find dry clothes for herself.

After storms subside on the island, Colette usually browses the beaches to find any good stuff that washes ashore.

Today, Colette saw something interesting in the distance, it was quite large and shiny.

Accompanying Colette was Bobo with a large rock in hand.

In the past when she was scavenging through the shore, she had lifted a mat and a large crab had sprung toward her. Frightened, she screamed and jolted her body to the side. Since then Bobo carried a rock to knock away lurking crustaceans and jellyfish.

He was so sweet and considerate, it made her heart melt!

However, she was concerned whether he would try to knock down the human or humans inside the light aircraft if they moved suddenly....
