Renault is a time traveler. He discovered something in the hospital that shocked him extremely, or a creature that shocked him.

It has a chubby body, pink fluff, short limbs, and a small pocket in front of its belly with an egg in it.Shocked, there was only one thought left in Renault's mind - holy shit!Lucky egg?!!!

From then on, a time traveler works hard in the urban version of the Pokémon world and embarks on the path to becoming the strongest.
