Vampire Reporter

The next morning came. I started to smell something delicious. I open my eyes as I yawn. I get up and walk to the kitchen. But to my surprise I see the man from last sitting at the counter. I approached him slowly but as I do I see eggs and bacon on a plate. A pancake was on another plate. "You made this?" I examine the food.

The man looks up. "Ahh yes." he stands. "Thought you should have something to eat since we are training today"

I look at him surprised. "I didn't agree to nothing" I push the food away from me.

"It doesn't matter. I think it would be best for both of us if you agree" he pushed the food towards me not letting go of the plate.

I try to move the plate away. But he was too strong. I look into his eyes. We stay like this for five minutes. I roll my eyes. "Fine" I grab the food.

After I eat I get ready. As I come out of my room I see the man staring out at the city. I watch him as he looks so peaceful. His face was very chiseled. His black hair was put back but some escaped and hung in his face. His green emerald eyes shined bright. His frame was very tall and muscular.

"Its rude to stare" he said as he was turning around.

I look away quickly and blush. Shit! I didn't mean to stare that long. "Sorry"

"Yeah I don't care" he looks at the ground. His cheeks hot. "Listen we need to get started."

"Right." I stand up straight. I than realize I never got his name. "Um what do I call you?"

The man rolls his eyes. "Call me Cerberus" he walked to the front door. "Now lets go"

I follow him. We walked quietly. Not saying anything. It was awkward but I didn't want to break the silence. When we stop we were in front of a old building. It looked as if you touched it it would fall on you.

"This the place?" I look at it.

"Yes" he looks at me. "Is that a problem princess?" he chuckles and walks towards the building.

"Whatever" I walk behind him.

The next few hours were awful. I've never worked out that much in my life. I did sit ups, runs, push ups and many other things. And I barely got any breaks. "Can I have some water?" I see Cerberus was drinking from a water bottle.

He looks at me. "No" he drinks more. He puts the bottle down and goes to do some sit ups.

I get angry. Why couldn't he let me drink some water. I didn't care. I grabbed the bottle and started to drink it. I suddenly spit out the water. "Ew!" I gag. "What the hell?" I notice when I had spit out was red. I start to get aggravated at myself. I had forgotten Cerberus was a vampire. "Idiot"

Cerberus was staring at me. "Moran" he smiled as he looked at while I kept hitting myself.

"Why?" I hit my head.

"Okay okay stop" he grabbed my hands. "That's enough. Now lets get back to drawing"

I stare at him. I sigh. "Okay"

We started to get back to work. After the training was done I was sore all over.

"Ahh" I say catching my breath.

"Okay that's enough for today" he grabs his bottle and takes a drink

Even though it was blood in the bottle I still wish I was drinking it. Suddenly a bottle rolls next to me. "Huh?" I look up

"Drink" he drunk more out of his bottle.

I grab the bottle. I looked close at it. The bottle was so cold that it had sweat running down the sides of it. I quickly opened the bottle and drunk it fast.

"Easy. You don't want to drink to fast. You will have a stomach ache."

I look at him. He sounded like a older brother or father. I laughed. "I know bro" he looked at me strange and all it did was make me laugh harder. Suddenly my stomach started to hurt. "Ow" I held my stomach.

"Told you" he chuckled.

I threw my empty bottle at him hoping to hit him. But he moved fast to avoid it.

"Nice try princess but I cant be taken down that easily." he smiled big.

I rolled my eyes. To be honest its been fun with Cerberus. Even though he did choke me when we first met. I laugh. He looks at me strange.

"Something funny?" He looks me up and down.

"Well yeah." I let out a deep breath from laughing so hard. "When we first met you choked me and well its just funny to me because in the future when I tell my kids how I met you, one of my close friends, Ill say we met by you choking me."

He stares at me and sighs. "You have an odd mind"

I look at him. I cross my arms. "So what if I do? You have one too"

He rolled his eyes. "Whatever. Hey listen."

I look at him. "Yeah?"

"I need to tell you something..." he sits down on the bench.

I sit next to him. I could tell he was serious. "What is it?"

He looked at the ground as he clutched his fists. "I wanted to tell you as soon as I found out but I didn't know how nor am I allowed...." he looked up at me. "You know how you said last night that you weren't even fazed by finding out vampires were real? Well I was looking into why you smelt like that girl and I soon found out that you were related to her and well...you were next to be turned...and not only that..." He went to look back at the ground. "I found out your mother is one of the elders..."

My eyes widen...."What?" I stare at the ground as well. Last time I checked I was an orphan. My family didn't want me. I look up at the sky. But was I an orphan for that reason? Because my parents couldn't handle having a human daughter? I start to tear up.

Cerberus pats my back. "I know its hard...but now you know..." he sighed. "I wasn't even allowed to tell you because your mother didn't want you to know yet.."

I look up at him. "Why? Because she was embarrassed by me?" I stood. "Because I'm human?" I crossed my arms. I was now angry. How dare she not want me.

"Listen I think its best if you didn't see her." he stood. "And now seeing your reaction I don't think I can train you either. Just forget everything about this.." before I could say anything he disappeared.

"Well screw you too!" I yelled. Some people near by saw and started to whisper. I sighed and quickly left.
